Thank You Andres!

Came here with friends for a nice getaway. The resort was honestly better than I anticipated (mostly because I do not like staying with kids) and looks better/more updated in real life than it did in the photos. We ate dinner off the resort each night but the food was great including the food from the pool bar, taco bar and breakfast buffet. Andres (works in the pool) is amazing! So sweet and the most accommodating! The rest of the staff was also great but there didn't seem to be enough staff and wait times were very long at places (to be seated at the breakfast buffet, waiting for a drink at the bar). In addition, I busted above my eyebrow on the slide and there wasn't anything that was done by the resort or really any concern that happened. The onsite doctor was great but would have been nice to have some sort of follow up by the resort for something that happened on their resort and that it cost me a lot of money for the stiches and care by the doctor. Also - reminder to book the all inclusive option! We booked through expedia and when you do the package deal (flight and car) this was not included as an option. Other than these things, I highly recommend this resort.
Exceeded my expectations

My husband and I stayed here with a promotion for all inclusive to listen to a timeshare presentation. We paid a little more for an upgraded room which was worth it. I wish I could remember peoples names from our housekeeper to each server. I only remember Erik who took care of us each day at the beach. He was great. All of the food was definitely amazing! The pizzas fresh on the beach were great. So we’re the street tacos. We loved the Italian restaurant with some of the best bruschetta I’ve ever had and a beautiful sunset view. We ate at El Carbon with the grilled meats and vegetables by the beach one night. Without the all inclusive, it would have been very expensive but it was so delicious, we would eat there again. We had a special dinner at the “farm to table” restaurant as well and our server was so attentive and personable. His recommendations were spot on. The nightly shows and dinners were fun and entertaining with staff assisted buffets which worked out great. All the workers followed covid protocols and everything was sparkling clean. But they were fine with my choice if I didn’t want to wear a mask. I appreciated that and would come back just for that reason alone. We will be back and my view from room is my new phone Lock Screen.
Wonderful vacation experience!

The resort was absolutely beautiful, with perfectly gorgeous ocean views, well appointed rooms, outstanding staff, and delightful entertainment for both adults and children! We enjoyed every one of the restaurants, the special Mexican Party, International Party, the Italian Restaurant (Mahi Mahi!), the Japanese Restaurant (Great new Chef!) and poolside dining. I loved participating in the morning dance steps by the pool, and water aerobics. Kudos to the staff for their fine efforts! The resort was Covid19 compliant, and with that ocean breeze it was a healthy and much appreciated escape!
Andres Paulino (pool server) was exceptional - Villa Del Palmar was way too busy and it was evident everywhere we went

We have stayed at this resort countless times, but never during Spring break. There were way too many people and the staff on hand were unable to accommodate things quickly like they normally do. There were long lines for food and the service around the pool was not very good. Andres Paulino was an exception - he was a tireless worker and accommodated our every request. This resort is normally great, but our experience in a somewhat post COVID situation didn’t meet their usual standards.
Fantastic Customer Service!

My friends and I have been staying at Villa del Palmar for the last 10 years and have enjoyed our experience each time. This time, we noticed an elevated customer service including more staff greeting us with a "hand to heart" and less pressure to attend the member "update" meeting. A special shout out to Beth - Concierge, Elizabeth - at the towel booth - these ladies remembered my name and room # - very special; of course, the Entertainment Team - Ana Maria!!!! (love her), Rodrigo, Chuy, Tony, Laura and Yari; Luis - pool side server; and Roberto Ortiz, Jason, and David in the Sales area. We will see you again soon. Muchas Gracias a todos!
