I took a chance on booking this trip for my daughter's graduation present at the last minute (2 days before departure) and I am glad that I did. We both needed to rest and relax after a very eventful year and before she heads off to college. I will say this is not a 5 Star hotel in looks, or amenities; however it more than makes up for what it lacks in customer service! It truly has world class customer service. At the airport prior to leaving I realized that I had not booked an airport transfer and called the hotel to see if they could assist. I can't remember the lovely young lady that answered the phone, but she was so professional and understanding even when she couldn't find my reservation. She asked that I give her 10 minutes and she would get everything straightened out. She had everything worked out when I called her back in 9 minutes to include our airport transfer. There was a very nice gentlemen named, Stanley waiting for us when we cleared customs. Stanley gave us our first tour of the island as he drove the 1.5 hour drive to the resort. I truly enjoyed our ride and Stanley gave us some great recommendations for eating ( Winnie's across from the hotel-best jerk chicken, Ricks Cafe- iconic tourist spot, for great local cuisine: Sweet Spot, 3 dives, and Ivan's). We were located in room 411 right outside the pool, close to the hot tub, and steps away from one of the most gorgeous beach I've ever seen. The grounds are kept immaculate. Not once did I see a piece of trash anywhere, dead foliage, leaves, fallen branches, or anything out of place. You and tell that the employees take great pride in maintaining the resort. The rooms could definitely use some updating and I will say that the beds weren't the most comfortable. Be careful as the beds move. Some rooms don't have blow dryers, but you can check one out from the front desk. It was still an enjoyable week all and all. Be aware that although the resort offers free WiFi it is sketchy/hit or miss when it will work. I don't believe that it was the resorts issue but the fact that you're on an island. So I wouldn't plan to do a lot of surfing the Internet. What this resort lacks it does make up for it in CUSTOMER SERVICE! The staff is amazing. I didn't have one interactions the entire week that wasn't professional, caring, and SUPER WELCOMING! From day one to day seven we have been treated like VIPs. The bar staff and the kitchen staff made this trip truly the best! The rudest people that I ran into were the guests! Coco La Palm definitely knows how to treat a customer! Kudos!!! The food is DELICIOUS! We had the continental breakfast most mornings and the muffins/pastries were very good. You get a choice of fruit or juice. I honestly think you should get both and refills, but you don't. The waffles and pancakes were great though. We spent roughly $50 - $60 for dinner and about half that for lunch for two people. I highly recommend the jerk lamb! But everything that we ate was delicious Also room service does not incur an additional charge. We utilized that service daily. You can't go wrong eating at either the grill or the restaurant. Thanks to Brandon and Charles for great and friendly service. The resort doesn't offer much in the area of activities. There is a Managers Greeting Monday and on Wednesday an awesome live band. Marvin is a great singer. We had the pleasure of a lady by the name of Francine, who was celebrating her birthday to join Marvin and the two were FABULOUS! I really enjoyed the show. I do think the resort should offer other activities, but you can walk up the beach to find live reggae music and dancing. The resort is located in a great location, as it is in about the middle of 7 Mile Beach. There are plenty of seating both covered ( giant trees/no umbrellas) and uncovered. There is a lifeguard and security on the property daily. Security keeps the locals selling trinkets, tours, food/fruit, and Ganga at bay if you aren't interested. I will say the older lady selling fruit had the best mango I've ever tasted in my life. Other people said the patty man was good as well. Security really does a great job of ensuring that you feel safe at all times on the beach. The other resorts along the beach are also very welcoming. There are stands where locals are selling items bargain with them. You can also go to Times Square where you can get T-shirt's and the other tourist stuff. We also went to the craft market where you can really bargain, but stay in the front do not go into the back areas as it is not safe. Our cab driver stayed with us. If you need an ATM there is a bank downtown where you can get local and or US dollars. All in all we enjoyed our vacation as it was just what we needed: peace and quiet! Thanks to a great staff. We plan to return!

We had a great time staying at the resort - got a room facing the sea just few steps from the beach! The trees in the beach area radiate the air of serenity, and the lush garden surrounding the resort has such a calming effect. Just make sure you apply mosquito repellent once it gets dark!

Will be returning..great place to stay 4.5 star ??

Still here but wanted to share our review before heading back home.. First time here and we THIS PLACE! Beach during the day, Rain forest in the evening. Mind you it’s rain season now but that doesn’t bother us.. Never a resort feel, regardless of room location, it’s just a short hike (2 min if you stop to talk to someone on the way) Beautiful white sand beach with plenty of chairs to relax. Love the staff who are approachable and call you by name. Clean rooms and fresh towels daily. Marley’s at the Sea, great menu and delicious ?? but ate at a couple other resorts around here and the food was very tasty..and welcomed us even though we were not staying there We believe this is the best location on 7 mile..we walked the beach several late evenings into the night and never felt uncomfortable. There is security along the beach and doing a great job!! Not a place for those looking for nightly, glitzy entertainment but a short walk or cab ride if you so desire. We traveled many times to Jamaica and mainly stayed 5 star..always felt rushed and exhausted at the end of our trip..We took a chance with CCLP and it’s well worth the value and has so much more to offer. Thank you, we had a great couple days exactly what the doctor ordered, peace and tranquility Leaving here relaxed and content To conclude if you love 5 star the stick with what you enjoy but for us CCLP is easily a 4.5 star and that’s pretty damn close in our opinion Won’t be our last..returning soon Lisa and Bob Kingston, Ont

I liked the hotel, would have preferred a room closer to my friends. The hotel is quite nice. The staff are great , Our cleaning ladies were pretty darn sweet, big shout out and great job to Peonelope, and Patrica, both ladies have a standing invite to PEI, with free accomodations, They were exceptional. Loved Raquel at the retarant , she was a wonderful lady who was very kind. The beach was pristine, my only complaint was they didnt offer much in the qy of night life , and that was disappointing. It would have been fun to have entertainment staff. some dancing would have been 5 star. Food in the retaurant was good.

We have been staying at Coco La Palm with friends for years. We've stayed at a few different properties on the beach with mixed results. Coco La Palm has been consistently excellent. The location, approximately midway on the beach, is convenient to everything. The beach area is large with plenty of sunny and shaded space. The grounds, rooms, and restaurants are very well kept. The food at Marley’s By the Sea and Marley’s Beach Bar & Grill excellent and reasonably priced. You can't gpo wrong eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Coco. There are two swimming pools and a jacuzzi hot tub for people who want to try something other than the sea. The staff at Coco La Palm are very professional. Some of the staff has been there for more than a decade. A few thoughts on some of the staff: Our breakfast server, Jayda-Lee Bygrave, is an incredibly beautiful, hard working, young lady with a contagious smile. When you get to the beach you will be greeted by Dave "The Wave" serving up cold stripes and grub from Marley’s Beach Bar & Grill. Steve will make certain that you beach chairs are in the perfect spot everyday of your stay. Gibson and the crew on security don't miss anything. Leave your shoes on the beach? No Problem Mon, they got it. Naresh in the office is always ready to help with a smile - (how many times can a couple lock themselves out of their room?) Need a ride into town or out to the country? Check with Densel at the front door. He will hook you up. Call Esna in the office to book a reservation as soon as possible.
