I stay at Clarion Inn Lake Buena vista since it is Comfort Inn. Always is my preferential hotel in Orlando, because de location, I love to stay at Lake Buena Vista, and Clarion Inn Lake Buena Vista is near Disney Spring, Disney Parks, Sea World, Universal Studios Resort, Orlando Premium Outlet Vineland, goods restaurants like Oliver Garden, IHOP, Longhorn. But this last time I stayed very disappointed, the room was in a horrible situation, door with oil mark and dirt, AC not work. Ok sheets was clear, towel and room overall was clear, but need change de carpet, keep AC maintain in good condition. I didn't believe was the same hotel I stayed in many times. But I believe I didn't have good luck at this time. I stayed in other Rosen Inn, like Rosen Inn at Point, and what I feel at this time in Clarion Inn definitive isn't Rosen Inn propriety standard. Maybe in the future, if I like to stay at this location I will try another chain.

Stayed here as overnight stay after flying in from Manchester & on our way to Fort Myers. Hotel was easy to fine. Check in lady Judie was helpful & very pleasant. We had a choice of which level room we wanted. We chose ground floor & were given a map to the room which was in a side building. The room was dark but basically clean. Plenty of towels. There were small flies around the tv. As we were at the front of the building if was very busy until late & again around 7am with people from the hotel walking past the room laughing & talking, or towing suitcases, even though we had a door hanger saying the room was occupied. We used the mini mart for a sandwich & cake in the evening. We had to wait around 10 minutes to be served as the assistant had gone to the restroom. She did apologise on her return. When we went in the morning for a banana that cost $1, expensive, & danish pastries, the assistants were stacking the fridges & we had to wait again about 10 minutes. They did apologise. It was an ok stop over but would not wish to stay for anylonger.

Second stay - not so good!

We stayed here last August and we thought the hotel was great in terms of location and value and for the most part, it still is. It could not be better located for access (via car predominantly) to Disney, Universal, Seaworld plus many may food outlets. However, this time around the rooms felt very dark and dingy and had some small bugs crawling around near the TV. The bath had no plug in it to start with and the toilet would not flush unless you stood and held the flusher down! I did report this to reception and only the plug was actually sorted out for us. The most annoying part was when a bag of feminine products for my wife and daughter were inadvertently disposed of by housekeeping. I reported this to reception and was passed around the houses. I was told I needed to give a statement to security(?!). No idea why as it was clearly a mistake, it's not like I'd had money or jewellery taken! I was then told they'd need to speak to housekeeping the following day to see if they had them. Why would they as they've taken them clearly thinking they're trash! THen when I asked to speak to a manager, the receptionist went in the back to get him and I was told that I'd have to wait as he's eating. That's fine, we all need to eat but when I asked how long, I was told I'd have to sit and wait for an undisclosed amount of time! In the meantime, a young security guard arrived to take a statement (why?!). He basically just laughed when I tried to explain the situation. In the end, I went to the hotel shop (as it was almost 10pm by this point) and rebought everything that had gone missing. When I suggested that the hotel reimburse me for this, they told me they'd need to investigate first. Annoyed and frustrated I went back to our room and went to bed. I was then woken up by the laughing security guard asking for a copy of the receipt which I gave him to photocopy. The next morning, having heard nothing from the hotel, I went to reception for an update. The receptionist couldn't be more disinterested. She dialled housekeeping and handed me the phone which I refused as I don't need to speak to them. She then dialled security and handed me the phone again! I declined again and told her I didn't need to speak to anyone other than a manager! Eventually the duty manager came to the front desk. I briefly explained the situation and he returned with a copy of the receipt and a few notes from the previous night. I had to tell him that all I was wanting was a refund of what I'd paid for the replacement items and any 'investigation' was for them to carry out internally. In the end, he did have the lady in the shop process a refund. Customer service was completely absent here and is in complete contrast to places liek DIsney or Universal hotels who bend over backwards to make you happy! We decided once we arrived home that we would not be staying here again and cancelled a booking we had for May 2020. In summary, great location, poor customer service, dated, dark and dingy rooms.
