This place has it all! Walking into the lobby was like walking into a piece of art. Spanish influence in the colors and decor. It was so lovely! The grounds were expansive and well maintained. The rooms were contemporary, large, and comfortable. Buses bound for the Disney parks, pick up and drop off right in front of the resort.

There were 29 of us who needed to check in and we had one person process us which was insufficient. After we were Checked in we asked where room was located and as it was stressful and disorganized we were given verbal insufficient directions. The place is massive. Toting our own bags we went in the wrong direction, had to double back and eventually found the room. The room itself was lovely and comfortable. They should have provided a map immediately. Because of the size of the property, we had long walks to get to the buses to the parks. They should have more stops with better labeling and frequent teams throughout the property. It is probably a great place for the young but not for seniors.

My wife and I came down for the week of new year's Eve and we stayed at the Gran Destino Tower and it was amazing! We booked our trip before it opened so we were a little nervous on how it was going to look, but it turned out to be fantastic! The lobby was beautiful and all the Christmas decorations just added to it. If you get a chance I highly suggest you go downstairs to the bar in the morning and get a Cafe Bombon from Zach. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. I definitely plan on staying there again! The rooms were very clean and depending on where your room is, you can watch both Epcot and Hollywood Studios fireworks from your room!

Better late than never! We visited Coronado Springs in June 2019 as a family of four. Hotel was spotlessly clean and the rooms were great. The wooden floors helped keep it clean and a great idea to have raised beds to fit the suitcases below. Everyone was incredibly friendly and nothing was too much trouble. My daughter was ill for a few days and required a doctor. The staff helped us to source and get to a medical centre, when we returned they had put a Minnie and Mickey in the room with a get well note - it made her day as she was so upset that she was missing out on going to the Parks. We used the quick service dining plan and can’t recommend it enough - way too much food for us so we ended up with lots of snacks for the plane ride home! Fantastic holiday with great memories - can’t wait to return!!!!

Love the Resort... The Tower Made it Better!

We travel to Disney and stay on property at least once a year. Each trip my kids get to choose which they really want based on the discounts available at the time and what our "budget" is. We have stayed at CSR 3 times now, and will continue to for many years. First thing I want to say is that I know this resort is not for everyone. I have seen many people complain about the food options, the lack of "Disney" touches and that things are too spread out. I will state my opinions on all three things. Food options: We have eaten at Cafe Rix (the snack/pastry shop) for many quick breakfasts as well as refilled our mugs. They serve really yummy gelatos, and forzen coffee drinks that my son would have lived on had I let him. ElMercado the quick serve location is truly a favorite and even when we do not stay at this resort, we have made trips to eat there. LOVE the nachos, and the large variety of things to choose from. NOTE... many are texmex options. Maya Grill, while not our favorite with a couple of picky kids ( okay, they are older... tweens and teens) but what we have had there is always tasty and worth what we pay in my opinion. Three Bridges was nice to sit and relax.. got to watch some beautiful birds on the water while sitting and enjoying the warm weather. Have not had the pleasure of Toledo yet, just couldn't fit it in this trip. Disney feel.., it's still a convention center. Note that in our stays I rarely see or deal with anyone that seemed "convention" related and seeing I deal with them for a living at home, I know what to expect. There are many hidden Mickey's as well as some not so hidden. If you want loud in your face theming, stay at one of the value resorts. My family prefers to be out of the loud and into the quiet in the evenings. The resort is big however, it is still one of the smallest Moderate resorts on Disney property. The average walk from Ranchos section to the main building is about an 8 to 10 minute walk. Enjoy it. Beautiful gardens, water views, ect... lice the walk ways. There is even a butterfly garden!! If walking is not your thing, you can always take one of the buses to another location on property. This trip we stayed in the new tower. 11th floor with a water view. We arrived the day Hurricane Dorian was supposed to hit, it was a horrible ride in due to this. Our flights had been delayed, then cancelled, and eventually we flew into Tampa and used Lyft to get to the resort. We still arrived early, before noon... and within 20 minutes of arrival were in our room. The view was beautiful!! We could see the top of Cinderella's castle way off in the distance which also meant we could see some of the fireworks!! It was wonderful! The staff was extremely helpful, even provided a band-aid for my son who had scrapped his finger on the step (still can't figure out that one). We spent many days in and out of the resort, bus rides were an average of 15 to 20 minutes to all parks. The waits were usually about the same, some less, some more. The rooms were always clean, mousekeeping established I liked the coffee in the room and always left me extra. All in all, I have NO complaints on this resort and can't wait till our next stay!
