This place is very attractive when you first arrive. The staff was very helpful. I had a great view of the pool. The carpet in my hall was a little worn. The bathroom had just an old shower/tub that had weak water pressure. The thermostat did not control the room temperature very well. This location had several restaurants. My biggest issue is that I am a platinum elite rewards member which is suppose to guarantee an extended checkout, when I went to obtain it, I was told that I could not obtain an extension the day before my checkout. Also, my room was by the cleaning staff's area. It smelled very badly.

This int'l conf. happens twice a year and this is my 5th time to go back!! I stayed in the different towers, rooms, and had a great experience with as you feel the huge, large grounds may have you feel lost, but not really, its all orderly, staff are friendly and professional. I usually get bored from staying at same place but not this one, there is always something fun to do there. The food is great, walking around was refreshing! More-oever, from my balcony right at 9:00 p.m.;Disney fireworks was on, an added value.

Had a great experience staying here to attend the Playlist Live event. I will say the rooms were pretty expensive, but that is what all hotels do when there is a convention on site. The Starbucks in the hotel was great but the lines in the morning are crazy ridiculous. My son really enjoyed the pool area because they have multiple waterslides and a really really large pool. At night they had a light up glow ball party which the kids really enjoyed it as well. They also have multiple hot tub‘s available. The pool side also has a restaurant and offers service which is very nice to have a daiquiri brought to you while you are lounging at the pool. We are at the Japanese steakhouse inside the restaurant and it was OK but my son prefers the Kobe. We also ate at the Italian restaurant as well as the American restaurant and overall the food was pretty good. I was surprised how affordable the room service! They now use a new type of concept. Most of the time room service is very expensive and have a lot of charges but this was very reasonable and affordable and the food was delivered hot and fresh. The room was nice and kept clean and I like that they offer you the option of not getting room cleaning service and getting points instead to earn towards your next stay. They also have a lot of kids activities and my family loves when they bring the alligator out for them to touch. This is not our first stay at the Marriott and it will not be our last. Oh, sidenote, if you are self parking it is really far and you have to take a bus up to the front of the hotel which is not a joy. I recommend valet parking just to avoid that hassle because this is such a huge property.

I attended a business convention at the World Center. As most others write on their review, it is a huge hotel, but not really hard to get around. I would recommend for business meetings; for families, probably not the best choice, a althought it still could work. Staff is efficient and courteous. As for food choices, Siro Italian was very nice as was the Japanese steakhouse. The market grill is a very nice casual choice. Prices are high as you would expect, and drinks are expensive. Rooms are nice and upgraded. I would request the north tower or a view away from the main pool, as that gets fairly noisy. The golf course is good too. Fairly wide open and water isn't a real issue as it can be in Florida. Finally, as for getting to/from Disney, we took uber or Lyft. Easy getting to the parks, but expect a wait when trying to leave if you wait to closing. There is a bus from the hotel, but it left early and stops at every park.

Nice hotel but very busy. Hidden fees will get you, they don’t tell you at check-in but you pay $30.00 resort fee and 24.85 for self park which is a hike unless you take the shuttle and $37.00 to valet.
