We stayed at this hotel for the express passes At SeaWorld. Upon check in told they are not giving them. I received a letter from the hotel about Covid but it didn’t mention this. Was told the hotel could give Me free parking, come to find out it’s for SeaWorld and not the hotel. I’m an annual pass holder so that made no sense to me. It seems as though the hotels are reducing services but increasing fees. The night manager was helpful but the front office staff was quick and not friendly at all.

    Stay HOME until after COVID

It began with reservations. They did not disclose the $150 pet fee when asked if they were pet friendly. When I explained this to the Mgr, they did comp me $60 towards the pet fee which was nice (but I honestly felt the fee should have been waived.) Hotel staff was great, but the room stunk terribly, to the point I went to the front desk with our concern. I was told all the rooms were that way due to bad water (which made the in-room coffee unbearable). The front desk gave me some room deodorizer. Then we found out that the on-site restaurant was closed, even though the website says open for lunch and dinner. They need to update their website to reflect accurate information. When I originally inquired about the breakfast (with reservations) I was told it was a limited Continental Breakfast. It turns out that meant water and a granola bar in a bag to go. I understand COVID restrictions, but other members of our group stayed elsewhere and didn't experience these type problems. All in all, I'm going to write this off as COVID related, but I don't think I'll come back to this hotel, and I definitely do not recommend.

Breakfast is a carbs filled small snack. Small banana, small water, and Quacker 100cal granola bar(17g carbs). This is pittiful. I want manager to eat this every day and see how long his hunger will last. This is an absolute NO for carb conscious individuals and diabetics. Shame on you,Marriott. We recently stayed in Embassy Suites, and had packed boiled eggs, string cheeses,Activia yogurt, oatmeal. Will not stay ay Marriott any longer. Until today,I was Marriott Bonvoy member, but cut my card now!!! I wanted to add photo, but says it is too large. Yeah, right!

Awesome location, great value, amazing amenities at affordable price

This hotel is a real hidden gem in Orlando. Every single one of the staff there was courteous and helpful to me. I had stayed at this hotel a few years ago and had some concerns but all of them were addressed and I have absolutely no complaints this time. The hotel is, as you might imagine, close to SeaWorld. That park is a lot of fun and underappreciated, I honestly enjoy the SeaWorld parks more than Disney and Universal, and you can usually find discounts for them and have much less drama/crowds to deal with. They have a complimentary bus at this hotel to take you to SeaWorld and Aquatica, and buses to Universal are also available. There is a travel/tour desk in the lobby staffed by very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful people, and they will help you get tickets to parks, tickets for the shuttle buses, restaurant reservations, etc. While this is a "SeaWorld" hotel, many guests there of course want to go to Disney World. I didn't have a car and I wanted to go to WDW one of the days I was there to see the new Star Wars ride so I had to get there very early, before the park opened to get in the virtual queue. I timed it and from the time I requested a Lyft in my room to the time I was dropped off at the main entrance of Disney's Hollywood Studios took almost exactly 16 minutes. If you have your own car you can easily be in a Disney parking lot in less than 10 minutes when there's no traffic. I mention this because you can stay at this hotel for less than the cost of a Disney value hotel, get many more amenities, collect Marriott points, free transportation to SeaWorld, be closer to Universal, etc., and at the same time be at Disney parks in less time than it takes many Disney hotel guests to get there. If you add the Lyft/Uber/taxi fares to the hotel costs per night it's still usually much less than a Disney value resort, and honestly a much better hotel too. If you stay on an upper floor on one of the sides facing the direction of WDW, you actually get a really good view of the Disney fireworks at night. This Residence Inn has one of the biggest and best maintained breakfast buffets of any Residence Inn I've ever stayed at, and some of the nicest staff. I hope that they are able to open it up again soon as that is a big part of the reason I like to stay at those hotels. For those coming with families, especially kids, there are great kitchens/kitchenettes in every room. Another advantage to these hotels is that if you eat out, you have somewhere to put your leftovers and to warm them up. Also, you have a large size refrigerator to put milk for kids, soda, adult beverages, etc. If you don't have a car there is a CVS just a few hundred feet away, and there is grocery ordering service available through the hotel so it's easy to fill it up. There are multiple restaurants within walking distances, great options available for delivery, and if you don't have a car the I-Drive trolley and other form of public transportation are very close by and convenient. The rooms and most of the common areas here were apparently recently refurbished as they were much nicer than my last stay. I was very satisfied. The pool and on site bar/food area are pretty good too, and perfect for an afternoon rest, lazy day, etc. Again for the price, location, amenities, etc., this hotel is a real gem.

It's about what you would expect for a Residence Inn by Marriott. Free breakfast and decent sized rooms. As a platinum member we were able to get a room upgrade from a studio to a 1 bedroom which was nice. Kind of disappointed this hotel didn't participate in the "make a green choice" program. $12 for parking wasn't terrible since we had free parking at the parks.
