I truly loved this place, the staff was incredible, Cesar, Mario, Fernando, Rafael, Ramón and Lupita made us feel like family any time we sat down at the bar. The food was decent and their restaurant on site was GREAT. Their customer service is incredible and always very kind. My issue came unfortunately on the very last night we were here. Our trip here was truly great until the last night, it was miserable. they allow children who just graduated high school to stay here in groups with zero supervision and unlimited bar service, terrible combination. They give these schools special rates apparently, which I would’ve loved to have known while i was booking at full price to be disturbed by them. There’s literally 3 to 4 bus loads full of 18 year olds that are filling up every inch of space. They seemed to have allowed far too many kids per room because I’ve never seen so many people to room ratios, or the kids lied, which is probably it. Security has been called 8-9 times by all the rooms surrounding them in 3 hours and they continuously allow them to be screaming in the hallways, slamming doors, and playing music extremely loud. You wonder at what point does people on three different floors complaining about excessive noise from 11-3AM warrant a group being kicked out. They were far too drunk and purposely trying to disrupt guests. Everything else here is really awesome, bartenders are great, but being woken up from a dead sleep multiple times in the night because they don’t want to kick out purposely rude kids will really ruin your stay. If you do stay I would really recommend avoiding second half of June and early July. They’re all celebrating graduation and even the hotel staff hates these kids no lie. Any time I mentioned these groups they just got really serious and said how hard these weekends are to work. Not the staffs fault, but I hope they seriously reconsider their policies of giving schools discounts, it’s chases away the better paying customers.

The hotels dinner options were horrible. The combinations were very random. This customer service in the front desk was horrible. The waiters however were very nice. They charged me 23 dollars for a towel ticket that was lost.

I went by myself and got an excellent last minute deal to this hotel. I wasn't expecting much but it was better than I thought. Its right in town so you can walk to get anything you need, there is a 24 hour bus that is very cheap that will take you all over Puerto Vallarta. The rooms are large and clean but they don't have a balcony so if you want a balcony you need to get a main floor pool side room at an extra cost. The wifi only works in the lobby and not in your rooms if this is important to you. The resort itself is not on the beach but you are allowed to take a 3 minute walk to the next door resort and use their beach and pool, you can also have lunch and drinks there. The service is excellent and the staff is friendly and helpful. They have some beach parties and and a disco on the resort. Its a small resort so it's easy to get to know people. If you are a smoker, you need to be aware that they are very strict about where you can smoke on the resort, only in designated areas. The food is average but good. There is a cafe on the resort and the coffee is excellent. I only went to one a-la carte but it was good. For the value, I would return again.

Okay so our first trip to PV we wanted to try both worlds , Old Town and Non AI , and the hotel zone AI. The stay here was the last 4 nights of a trip away as a couple and the kids left behind. We we greeted warmly by the doorman on arrival and the staff was welcoming every step of the way. The best part , being Americans , there were very few Americans staying on site , they say this time of the year is mainly Mexican families on vacation in PV and we believe that for sure , non of the non sense we usually see from fellow Americans going on this trip , but we will get into that later. The positives , The price for this AI in this area is really really good , so good we didn't feel bad at all going off site for drinks or food when we wanted to try something new The food was good , we enjoyed the french toast and hash browns for breakfast ,I know so touristy , the lunch buffet was always good with some great Mexican favorites on board. The snack bar at the beach club was kind of a nightmare just due to the high volume of people , but one day they had two stands there with ceveche and whole fried fish which was amazing The rooms were comfortable , the beds were soft , the lines were great and the A/C worked wonders , the sliding doors on our room led right out to the pool The location is great , if you walk down about two blocks towards old town there is a huge out door shopping plaza type area that is full of massage parlors , legit too , all offering 350 peso 75 minute massages , the wife and I got one each day The house keeping was great , the rooms were cleaned everyday and everything left perfect The coffee bar in the morning was also a treat , double espresso with steamed milk while on the beach is a great way to start the day The beach first thing in the morning is great , and so are the pools , as I stated earlier there were very few Americans on site so the towel game was non existent , anytime we wanted a spot on the beach or shade by the pool we could get it. The Bad The mixed drinks were not that great , they got by but not great , one type of beer on tap and still not sure what it was , it was cold and it got the job done No fridge in the room to keep so cold water and soda in the room , highly recommend they put in some fridges. The dinner buffet was the worse meal of the day every day , we ate there one night , checked it out the other nights and went off site , again no big deal because it was such a cheap priced AI The beach and beach pool is a walk across the driveway , and down a sidewalk and up some stairs or a wheelchair ramp , not a big deal , like a 3 minute walk from the front door , but just understand that is the case before you go All in all we enjoyed our stay , we both agreed when we return to PV this will be one of the first places we look at to stay , we also agree we would split it up and do half and half in each part of PV

I need to start this off by giving a shout out to CLAUDIO. He is usually around the pool getting drinks and such for guests. He is not one to miss. Claudio helped me and my friend come up with cool quiet beaches to visit around Puerto Vallarta, always checked up on us and was soo hilarious. He will make you laugh so much and is truly a very kind and genuine human. Another shoutout is for Fabricio, who i met at the Tequila bar. He is suuuuuper cool and also hilarious! He helped us out when there were creepy guys (guests) approaching us, and always had an eye out. He also makes the BEST drinks - not too sweet and not overly strong. Just right. Great for drink suggestions too. He seems like he'd be a great friend to have in life. Overall, the stay was really nice. Not a super luxurious place, but still gives the great beachy vibes and makes you feel at ease. You're right on the beach, and there are two large pools in different areas that you have access to. Good amount of partying at night. Not too crazy. Good if you're going with friends or even with your family for a week. I wouldn't stay longer than a week, just because you get tired.
