Ace!

We had an absolutely brilliant 14 night stay here. The resort, whilst not being overly large, is big enough so that you don't feel cramped and the layout is easy to navigate after a few hours. It's right on a very clean stretch of beach and has a number of pools, too. Do be warned, however, the towel depositors are out early so bear this in mind. The adult only pool is the most quiet and available. It's an 'all inclusive' resort and, whilst the restaurants are good, we do like to eat out and the à la carte restaurants can be a little difficult to book. The staff are super friendly an helpful but I would just like to give a special shout out to Arcadio in El Bosque and Antonio (mi amigo) in the Fizz Bar on the beach.

Fernando was the best server

Fernando rebollar provided excellent, friendly service. Really enjoyed his interaction with the table. He advised us about the menu and clearly knew it backwards and forward. Our meals were very tasty and satisfying. Will tell our friends.

Just got back from 7 days with a group of 10 (6 adults and 4 kids). This was our second time at the resort. Once pre covid. Beach - is one of the best we’ve been to. A lot to do, nice sand, lots of room, clean, great shade. Loved the amount of boogie boards. Lots of free ocean items to use (kayaks, paddle boards, boogie boards). Rooms - they are dated but fine. Our AC didn’t work well (yes we had the doors closed). Our room was set to 14 and it was bearable. Our friends was set to 22 and it was freezing. I didn’t care enough to say anything because it was a good enough temp at night and we were comfortable enough. Staff - they are amazing. From cleaning and maintenance to servers and bellboys. All great! Amazing amazing amazing! Food- I had no real complaints. A La carts were always great. Buffet was decent but theme nights are always nice to break up the same old same old. No one got sick and we ate everything from raw fish at Bamboo to salad to literally everything. Kids/youth activities - when we came pre covid, they had so much for kids and youth. I feel this was really lacking. Maybe we were missing activities, but no foam party, no beach party, just the little kid show at night. Ours were 8-14 and there wasn’t much for them to do. They had fun in the ocean and pool, but meh on the kids activities. Fitness - it was okay. Gym was dated but had what we needed. The booking system for the tennis/Pickleball court was frustrating. It seemed random as if you got it or not and you could never book 2 days in a row. many times we tried to book it and would walk by to go somewhere else and it remained empty, even though our booking was rejected. We probably wouldn’t go back. Not because it was bad, but we’ve been to way better resorts with more for kids, more pools, better buffet variation. I’m glad we experienced it twice.
