    We stayed 5 nights for our Honeymoon in September and this resort is great and we'd highly recommend it for anyone looking for an all-inclusive 5 star resort and experience! Great location and the food, drinks, and service are absolutely fantastic! All the resort staff was great and a we'd like to especially thank Cesar Guerrero Mesero & Enrique Ruiz Cantinero for making our experience truly special and these guys are amazing and an asset to the company! Great job to all at the resort and we'll be coming back for sure!

    Our Third Visit to a Fantastic Hotel ---- With a Warning.......

    My wife and I purchased a membership at Villa Premiere three years ago because we absolutely love this hidden oasis in Puerto Vallarta! We have been to Puerto Vallarta three times, and every time we visit we stay at Villa Premiere. The hotel is small, and every room is equipped with a balcony overlooking the pool and Banderas Bay, so no matter where your room is situated, you'll have a fantastic place to enjoy your morning coffee, or afternoon breezes blowing off the water. Their "adults only" policy is great too --- you won't have to deal with screaming children at the pool, or loud outbursts at any of the restaurants at the resort. At any hotel like this, it is the employees that can make or break your overall experience, and there are a few people at Villa Premiere that we always look forward to seeing when we visit --- these people always go so far beyond what is required of them to make sure their guests are enjoying their stay. Senor Javier Joya is a waiter who works around the pool, and he is absolutely THE BEST!!! He has been there for many years, and has developed a loyal following of guests who always specifically ask for him when they arrive. You couldn't ask for a nicer gentleman with a great heart and a true desire to make sure you always have everything you need or want. My wife and I always ask for Javier as soon as we arrive ---- and so should you! The Spa at Villa Premiere has the BEST masseuses we have ever experienced. We had two separate spa sessions there, and my wife had an entire day at the spa. When you are there, ask for Sandy ---- she is absolutely wonderful! There are several reasons I did not give the review of our stay at Villa Premiere five stars this time -- and because I know that the management of the hotel reads these reviews and (hopefully) pays attention to them, I will be very honest in my assessment, and hopefully these words will be taken to heart by hotel management. I am certain that all of the chaos associated with the COVID pandemic has had an effect on the overall quality of service at Villa Premiere, however there were a number of other things that were lacking that I do not believe can be explained by COVID. My overall feeling is that there has been some kind of personnel shift somewhere in the upper levels of management of the resort, and the focus has moved away from an extremely high level of service to one more closely aligned with generating revenue from selling memberships. While the things I am about to list may seem to be small things, at a hotel that supposedly is focused on service, these things are NOT small things: 1. Employees in the lobby sitting at the registration desk and at the Concierge desk do not say hello when you walk by. During all of our previous stays there, employees in the lobby not only ALWAYS said good morning, they always addressed us by our names. 2. Senora Maria Bustamante, the Concierge we have always dealt with whenever we stay at Villa Premiere, is no longer there. Maria was absolutely the greatest Concierge my wife and I have ever dealt with at any hotel we stayed at anywhere in the world ---- she ALWAYS had a great smile for us whenever we would meet, and she always asked if there was anything she could do to make our stay more enjoyable. During our previous visits we got to know her very well, and she was so helpful with everything --- we booked several tours with her, she gave us some great tips for local shopping, suggestions for great restaurants, and she even found a company that could rent a private airplane for us to do some sightseeing from the air. I couldn't tell you the name of the Concierge currently working at Villa Premiere, as they never introduced themselves. Losing Maria was a very big loss to Villa Premiere --- she was an absolute jewel! 3. The menus at La Ceiba and Corona, two of the restaurants at the resort, have shrunk in size considerably from what they have been in the past. Once again, I do not know if this is a consequence of COVID, but the menus did not change at all during our stay, and the dishes being offered were considerably less innovative and interesting than during previous visits. One item that really was off-putting was on their breakfast menu ---- a bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon was not part of the all-inclusive menu --- there was an extra charge for it. Really? My wife and I were paying $160 per day for the all-inclusive option for both of us, and you need to upcharge us for putting a couple of pieces of smoked salmon on a bagel??????? 4. There appears to have been a very large employee turnover at the hotel. Many of the waiter/waitress staff were new to us, and the average age of these employees was considerably younger than what we experienced during our previous visits. This resulted in an overall quality of service in the restaurants that was less than what we would expect from a resort like this. Items that we requested were forgotten, mistakes were made in food orders, etc. 5. Housekeeping service was okay, however they routinely forgot to provide us with fresh washcloths. The mini-bar in our room was not restocked a single time during our week-long visit. The sink in the bathroom clogged up, and it took two days to get someone up to our room to get it fixed. The air conditioning unit in our room sounded like a jet engine. We sent our laundry out for cleaning, and we needed to call Housekeeping to get it delivered back to us. Why didn't they just deliver it to our room when it was done? As I have said previously, it smells like something has changed in the overall management structure of Villa Premiere. I do not have any specific information to back this supposition up, however as someone who has been on this planet for many years, I can see organizational management problems from a mile away, and I am confident that something has gone wrong at Villa Premiere. My wife and I discussed this at great length during our stay, and the thing that we agreed upon was this critical truth ---- "Had this visit been our very first visit to Villa Premiere, would we come back again?" Our answer to this question is, unfortunately, "No." My wife and I will visit Villa Premiere again because we know what the resort has the potential to be when managed properly ---- we earnestly hope that whatever mistakes that have been made in management can be rectified soon. We hold "cautious optimism" for our next trip.

    Family Vacation + Romantic getaway

    I'm actually submitting this review a couple of months later since I stayed at the Villa Premiere, which makes it even more powerful, as I still remember what an amazing stay I had with my family at this beautiful hotel. I think what made our stay such an incredible experience was the service provided by all of the staff. Lorena from concierge was on top of our accommodations since day 1, completely outstanding! The hostess at the main restaurant welcomed us every day with a big smile and great attitude. Our maid Veronica did an amazing job in my room everyday. I've been in Puerto Vallarta several times, and this was definetely my favorite, because I could enjoy the comfort of a quiet romantic getaway, great food and great service with the vibrant Puerto Vallarta just steps away from the hotel.

    this a really great place to spend some time, they have a great cuisine, and everybody are really polite,the only thing is that they close the bar really early, its really close to the malecon, you can go walking to the downtown

    We were hesitant to travel during Covid, but their implemented protocols are more than ample. They wipe, clean, all wear masks at all times, and sanitize constantly. The other guests were the concern if there were any. Beautiful property and the service is top notch! Great food ( and very accommodating for my food allergy) and drinks were always flowing. The hotel was fairly slow, which was quite wonderful for us as guests, but not great for them. The room and view were spectacular. Marianna, Racquel, and Enrique always went above and beyond with everything. If you want excellent customer service, this is the place to go!
