Lots of stuff to do and great spot on the beach. They do shows every night. Multiple restaurants you can book reservations at (complimentary). Staff is fast with requests. Pools are very nice and clean too. Definitely a good resort to go to here.
Delightful and fun!

Our experience at the Iberostar Dominicana was nothing but delightful. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, and the rooms were always clean and fresh. The concierge Ana Azcona was extremely helpful when we lost something, although we didn't find the item, she went out of her way to help search for it.

Nestled along the picturesque turquoise coastline of Punta Cana, Iberostar Dominicana promises an expansive resort experience enveloped by meticulously manicured grounds spanning kilometers. Upon arrival, we were greeted by smiling staff, a signature passionfruit welcome drink, and the breathtaking beauty of the landscape, setting the tone for our seven-day, six-night stay. The beach, a focal point of any tropical getaway, did not disappoint. Impeccably clean sands greeted us each morning, with seaweed promptly cleared away to ensure pristine shores. However, the serenity of the shoreline was occasionally disrupted by persistent vendors peddling excursions, products, or services. While their presence didn't mar the natural beauty, it did detract from the tranquility we sought. Securing a lounge spot under a palapa necessitated an early rise to claim our preferred spot. My advice? Arrive by 8 am to secure prime real estate for a day of relaxation. Accommodations at Iberostar Dominicana, while slightly dated, offered spacious and impeccably clean rooms, attended to with care by the diligent housekeeping staff. Although the decor may not have been the most modern, the comfort and cleanliness more than made up for it. Culinary delights awaited us at the resort's buffet, boasting a wide variety of options to suit every palate. While some dishes lacked the punch of seasoning we desired, the presentation and variety compensated for them. In my opinion, it was the specialty restaurant, La Pagoda, that truly stole the culinary spotlight. Offering Oriental flavors with a burst of tantalizing tastes, it quickly became our favorite dining experience during our stay! Evenings were filled with entertainment, providing a delightful end to each day. However, the late show times proved challenging for early sleepers like ourselves. Despite this, the quality of performances ensured enjoyable evenings filled with laughter and excitement. Throughout our stay, the staff at Iberostar Dominicana remained consistently friendly and accommodating, adding to the warmth of the overall experience. There were, however, a few minor notable drawbacks that detracted from an otherwise exceptional stay. The resort's tolerance for smoking in public spaces, including the theatre, beach, and pool areas, was a disappointment for non-smoking guests like ourselves. Additionally, the constant, persistent sales pitches for the "breakfast" presentation of time-share-like packages became annoying at times. In conclusion, Iberostar Dominicana offered a memorable resort experience characterized by stunning natural beauty, attentive service, and diverse culinary offerings. It truly left a lasting impression, and we would eagerly return and recommend it to others seeking a tropical retreat in Punta Cana.
Iberostar Domenicana - Great place to spend your vacation

The location of this resort is perfect,, the beaches are great and the food is amazing. The only negative I found is that the reception insists you see the concierge, who's primary focus seems to be to show you one of their premium resorts. Also, the rooms have card access. Unfortunately, it must be an old system. If the cards get anywhere close to your cell phone, they will no longer work. The WIFI works great throughout the resort.

The resort itself is very nice but we had trouble finding food to our liking. Not that we starved, but for example there was no seafood at the buffet for dinner. The staff was friendly and we liked the golf carts that took you from your room to the lobby. We had a potential medical emergency and thought we would have to stay an extra night. They wanted to charge us almost $500 which seemed very high to me. Thankfully we didn't have to stay. The beach was nice and there was an area reserved for accessible guests. Too bad anyone could sit there. Had that area been full I probably would have asked someone to move.
