This was the 3rd time to this resort and we WILL be back. This hotel has really become our home and will continue to bring our family back to have a most enjoyable vacation. Staff Special Mention - The Staff at this Resort are absolutely outstanding. Restaurant - Victor, Juan, Johnny Kids & Co/Splash Island - Luisa, Johanna, Wanda, Jakelyn, Arelis, Ismael, Sujeidy, Johendy, Nazhara, Julissa Hotel Room: The Family Room Beachside has great location to 1) the beach 2) the pool 3) the breakfast buffet 4) the kids zone. It is a little walk (5 minutes) to get to the lobby and restaurants for supper but this is not a complaint. If you can't walk you can just grab a train or golf cart. The family room beachside has 1 king bed, 2 twin beds (short bunk beds) and 1 pull out. Restaurants - Mercado Breakfast buffet has many options for breakfast. The buffet in the italian was perfect for lunch. There is many other a la carte for supper or buffet. We were there for 2 weeks and found that the food was changing constantly so we never got tired of the food options. Hot was hot, cold was cold. Hakideo is an extra charge but we find it fun for a change for food and the kids. Pools/Beach/Spash Island - Pools are clean and deeper for older kids, the beach is safe and clean and splash island is perfect for families with kids young and older. The staff at Splash Island are awesome with the kids and really have fun with them. Kids and Co - This place to take the kids is exceptional. The staff are truly outstanding and really care and take care of the kids. They provide activities for all ages throughout the day and provide lunch and supper (I think) if you chose to have your children there during those times. If you just want to drop the kids off for a few hours to go to the spa, go for a walk, rest they will accomodate. Entertainment - The shows are very good and the kids enjoyed the magic show, circus show and loved the Michael Jackson show. Kids and CO typically has a mini disco with the younger kids before the late show. We stayed 14 nights and didn't really leave the resort for excursions and found there was enough to do if you just want to relax, enjoy family time and eat. There is a mall 5 minute walk away but there is not much there anymore. You can find all the basics on the resort. Spa was well kept and enjoyable. Other information - You can send out your laundry for an extra charge. We have done it twice and have had 0 problems. There is no do it yourself machines on site. The resort is about a 20 minute ride from the airport. There is a golf course right behind the resort.

We spent a week with firends in late January 2020 first trip with no kids. Really enjoyed our vacation. Large resort, well maintained and very beautiful gardens. We stayed as a Level guests at Villa no 50 Gand Suite with jacuzzi, very close to pools and all ammenities, short walk to the beach.Bath cosmetics (shampoo, gel, etc.) in doses of 50 ml for three people. Many restaurants, food was ok and friendly staff especially Reynardo Sanchez the best concierger we could ever ask for. He made sure we had everything we needed in our room as well as providing rides and general recommendations for things to do and places to go. Beautiful beach, fine sand and great weather all week long. We also had a wonderful romantic dinner on the beach which was great and again big thank you to Reynardo Sanchez!!! I hope to come back soon.

    If you have food allergies...

My husband and I have no food allergies, nor do any close family. We are learning all the ways we need to protect our daughter who is allergic to dairy, shellfish, eggs, tree nuts. If you are going here and have food allergies please alert them before arrival and speak with guest services to ensure nothing is lost in translation at the restaurants. Getting the level upgrade is helpful in that you can have your meals prepared with allergy notifications and sent to the room ( we had a basic breakfast sent daily after our daughter needed medical attention from eating at a restaurant prior to guest services rep named Darling ensuring staff were fully aware the severity of the situation each meal). I will say for the most part the staff were kind in the restaurants, only once while at Buffett tarfutto ( I’m sure I’ve spelled this wrong) did we feel like the cook was annoyed with us. The situation sucks enough, I wanted to eat things like salmon from the level lunch buffet but did not the entire week so as to be less needy in our situation. Beyond that. We enjoyed the resort, the staff, the beach and the level upgrade was nice at the beach where drinks were brought and we were helped to our spot daily by staffer Ramon ( barefoot grill). During our stay there were issues with level pools, restaurants and bars being closed for renovations and often we found the map given at check in with info was inconsistent such as bar hours. That was frustrating. The level room service menu is limited, with food allergies we could order pasta, burger or cheeseless pizza and fries. Wings would have been nice to see on there and a fruit plate. Overall we had a good time, guest services helped take the sting out of food allergy setbacks, but I definitely missed out on eating decent for lunch and not feeling like an annoyance to the kitchen. We took family pictures onsite which was really convenient and they are beautiful. Final note, yes this is all inclusive but tip, tip tip the amazing staff. They work hard, few dollars a day, it’s not much.

As always, service at the resort did not disappoint. Concierges Pichardo, Eddie and Carlos made sure we had everything we needed in our room as well as providing rides and general recommendations for things to do and places to go. At the beach, service provided by Gregorio and Roberto was excellent!
