Perfect vacation for being the first time out of the country. Everyone at the resort is super nice and helpful in everything. The weather was beautiful for the whole trip. Jose #1, Miguel and Beethoven at Aqua Nick are great!

The water park at Nickelodeon Resort in Punta Cana was great. All staff were great with the children, engaging in play with the children all day every day. Excellent food and service by Miguel, Jose #1 and Beethoven at Aqua Nick (the water park).

This is the 5th time my family and I have come back to this resort since April of 2018. It goes to show that we are very pleased with the offerings they have and the way they cater to every single member of the family in different ways. I would like to point out the people that helped to make this vacation special in many ways – Jessy Collado, Manager of Concierge Services always goes above and beyond to ensure we are helped and have what we need to make another memorable vacation, she is a great friend who we hope is recognized by higher management for all the wonderful things she does! Maria Theresa is also absolutely wonderful. Ever since we first started coming to the resort, I have entrusted her with the task of babysitting my son who I don’t trust to go with anyone but Maria Theresa’s sunny disposition and friendliness made this an easy choice. I will never leave my son with any other babysitter at the hotel except for Maria Theresa, she is my son’s Dominican Mother :) I would also like to point out Carlos Hamilton who was instrumental in helping me when I was feeling ill at the hotel, making sure I was getting enough shade and water when I got a little too much sun on one of the days we were there. He was always smiling and wonderful with my son as well. Alejandro, the bar manager is also wonderful! He makes sure that we always have our favourite drinks in hand and we love to see the unique creations he is able to come up with! He is very talented! The ladies at the café are also lovely and always had our orders ready in a timely manner, with a smile on their faces. We stayed in an amazing ocean view swim out room which was steps away from the Zest restaurant and Lighthouse. Our routine was mostly the same in that we would go to Sugarcane for breakfast, and head over to the Nickelodeon Waterpark. While there, my son got to see characters like Sponge Bob, Patrick, Paw Patrol and Ninja Turtles. Beethoven at the restaurant in he waterpark made us a number of AMAZING ceviche dishes that were out of this world. Thank you Beethoven! Special mention also to Jose #1, Miguel and Albert for being fantastic bartenders. Uncle Luis is a lifeguard on duty at the waterpark and he is always such a treat to see because of his friendly manner and obvious love of seeing children have fun. There was never an issue to get a lounge chair in this area, or towels, or anything for that matter. I took my son to the Just Kidding playcenter one day for a couple of hours as I was not feeling well from the strength of the sun. There was a ball pit, slide, video gaming area as well as many Nickelodeon character toys. He had a great time and we were able to get some relief from the heat. I was completely spoiled by the staff on the day of my birthday – a charcuterie board was delivered to my room with a bottle of red wine! Such a nice treat. My husband and I got Maria Theresa to take my son to the beach party while he and I dined at K23. Always a treat to have their food at K23, its very good and innovative. The other restaurants we dined at were Verdello (Italian), Wok Wok (Asian), and Space Walker. The nightly entertainment was nice in the courtyard between all the restaurants however we did notice that a few of the things we are normally used to seeing were not there. Having been there four times before, we were used to the Taste of the Dominican which was done in the courtyard with local vendors coming in and allowing you to take some of the culture in (ex: they had the local honey bee farmer there with samples of all their honey’s)…it was a nice thing to look forward to that did not happen during the week we were there. Not sure if its just something they eliminated because of lack of interest from guests, or because the hotel was not at capacity. Either way I hope they consider bringing it back! There was another nightly event where each restaurant had a table out front and offered small tastings of items from their menu…we used to really enjoy that but sadly it did not happen this time. Also, I remember there being a night where the general manager would introduce all the staff to the guests attending the nightly festivities which was amazing since sometimes you don’t get to see the important members of staff who work hard to make your holiday a good one. It was a nice way to show our love and appreciation to those staff however, it was not done on this week. I hope they considering bringing this back as well! What was nice is that there were activities for kids in the evenings like a Circus Night where they had clowns and bouncy castle…another night where the clowns did a show for the kids with balloons and a caricature artist. My son loved that he could have freshly popped popcorn every night at these events. A great way to end the day off after having dinner. On the Saturday of our stay we signed up for the Character Breakfast at Zest and it was amazing. We had previously done this breakfast on our last trip but my son wasn’t feeling the best so we thought we better go again this time around. He loved every minute of seeing each character dance around and do photo ops. The breakfast was nice and a little bit different from the Sugarcane breakfast buffet. Additionally on the Saturday my husband and I arranged a dinner on the beach with steak and lobster that was amazing. On this night we requested Maria Theresa to watch our son. She took him to the Nickelodeon Orange Party in the waterpark where there was a lot of entertainment ….dancers, magicians, characters, etc. He had a great time with her there. Maria Theresa found us before leaving on our last day to give my son a Chase teddy bear from the gift shop which was a lovely touch and made the journey home more pleasant for him. In fact, I forgot a bag in our car before boarding the airplane to come to Punta Cana which had my sons toys packed in it. When we got to the resort, I told Jessy Collado this and she quickly brought my son a Marshal teddy bear from the gift shop so that he had something to cuddle with at night. It was a very nice touch that showed she cared and this is just a small example of how Jessy goes out of her way to make sure people have everything they need at the resort. She is simply wonderful! As for the beach, it was quite rough for the majority of our stay which is why we stuck to the waterpark. However on our second last day we discovered that if you walk to the left of the beach directly in front of the hotel, no more than 5 minutes away is a very calm stretch of water directly in front of the Dreams Hotel. It has a roped off area and was a nice spot I didn’t have to worry too much about my son going in as there were no waves. Nickelodeon obviously has no control over the waves in the water directly in front of their hotel, so it would not stop me from coming back again next time…I would just continue to use this calmer stretch of water in the future. All in all another successful family vacation in the books! Missing everything and everyone already :)

The property was very modern and my daughter enjoyed every detail. The swim up suite was beautiful and convenient to stay in your room and relax. The water park is awesome and the kids really enjoy it. Want to recognize AMAURIS our bell boy that really made us feel welcome when we arrived and gave us a tour of everything. Great job!!!

We just got back from the Nick resort and it was outstanding! We went with family and there were 15 total with 7 of those being kids. The resort was very accommodating. Bohan was our personal Concierge and was always available to help with anything. He is amazing. The rooms are great and have a huge bathroom. The water park was a lot of fun for the kids. It was great that they had the characters make appearances throughout the day. The kids club was also a nice amenity. Doppios was our favorite little spot for after dinner treats. I also recommend the spa which provided excellent service. The one frustrating this was that there were rarely any available chairs at the main pool even though it was never very crowded. Not sure if they need more chairs or if people just saved chairs all day long while they weren’t there. However we never had problems getting chairs at the water park!
