    This was our fifth time at Casitas in section 32. A perfect vacation as usual. Special thanks to; David one of our butlers that went above and beyond for us whenever asked and even did a favor for me on his personal time. Ivan & Manuel butlers who were her eager to help and very friendly. Gabriel pool butler who was always attentive and even ran around the resort looking for ingredients to make me a dairy free pina colada. Rene waiter at Santa fe restaurant who was spot on with timing, service and friendliness. He also went out of his way to make me a special and delicious dairy free dessert. Bruno& Maria Jose from Exotic took excellent care of us in a very precarious situation and it reminded is why we love being part of the Karisma family and will continue to extol the virtues of being treated like kings and queens on our vacation. Thank you all for making another memorable vacation perfect!

    5th visit and still good, but......

    This was our 5th visit to El Dorado Casitas, and generally was as good as ever. We did however get off to a poor start, as arriving at our room, 3109, the lock on the patio door to the balcony and pool was smashed off, the front door to the room did not close properly, the toilet did not flush that well, and the infinity pool on the balcony was murky brown in colour with "things" that did not look nice in the bottom. As the concierge was closed due to our later check in time, I complained to the Casitas lounge, and although they initially agreed to move us to another room, by the time I had walked back, they had telephoned and advised my wife that the other room was also awaiting maintenance and we would not be able to progress until the next day. Maintenance did however attend later that evening to renew and fix the lock on the patio door, however we were still to unpack due to potential room relocation, so decided to take room service. The first thing next morning and with a huge desire to unpack and get on our holiday, we discussed with our concierge that if all the issues were fixed immediately, we would be more than happy to stay in the room. To their credit, we were soon surrounded by a large team of maintenance, repairing all outstanding issues. I did take the opportunity to give our thanks to Ana Maria Cleto Zepeda a Manager at the resort, but also pointed out that all the issues should have been identified prior to our arrival and our experience was certainly a long way off the standards we have experienced on all previous visits. The only other issue with the room was the central light bulb in the bathroom blew and despite four requests to replace, we spent the last six days in a very dimply lit area. Now into the excellent part of the holiday and that is all the staff at the resort and the fantastic service that they deliver. An extra special call out to Mariano, who looked after us brilliantly at the Santa Fe for every breakfast, and also at Kampai at lunch. Tony, our beach waiter at section 31 and Umberto at La Isla were also fantastic. The quality of food and drink remains very good, however we did find that the menu choices at most restaurants have been substantially reduced compared to previous visits, the same dishes were often repeated at different restaurants across the estate, and restaurants were closed with little or no notice on some evenings. Overall though great visit and we are booked to return next year!

    My husband and I shopped for weeks trying to find a all inclusive Adult-only resort for out first trip to Mexico. We kept coming back to Eldorado Casitas Royale by Karisma and it was the obvious choice for us. We arrived with no issues to the Resort and were pleasantly surprised by margaritis and cool washcloths due to the humidity, which was not too bad. We were shown to our room in the Casitas and were overwhelmed by the beautiful ambiance and the Ocean view. We later met our social media Ambassador, ADRIAN in building 26 and was impressed by his level of service and friendliness and the fact he was a Steelers Fan!! He took very good care of us and when he was off, his counter part, TOLEDO was there for us seamlessly. Our dinner reservations were made, massages booked and anything else we needed was attended to promptly. There was a rug in our room that was frayed and I almost tripped and the had it promptly removed. They were amazing, warm individuals that we enjoyed visiting with and they made our trip. We then met our swim up bartender, JUAN and our pool butler MANUEL who couldn't do enough for us to make our stay as amazing as it was. They were personable, friendly, fun and made us laugh and we always had anything and everything we could ever need. Our room was amazing with fruits waiting for us, champagne and Mexican candies....we felt like a King and Queen for five days!! WE were extremely impressed by all of the staff, including Flora, who was our maid and who helped me get dressed for our first dinner!. Every where we went the staff was so friendly, helpful and professional, something you don't see often. Every where we went was clean and well kept and inviting. We were there to celebrate our anniversary early, as it is when it is a bit too warm for us in June. The staff put a happy Anniversary banner on our door which made us feel special since it was too far away to get the anniversary accommodations. This hotel also fit win with our personal values as Humans, they are eco friendly, they recycle, and they have their own water treatment plant on site. They have their own greenhouses on property and work to maintain an eco balance so all can enjoy for years to come! Overall we will be back and feel they are a part of our family and experience. Thank You Juan for all the laughs and Tequila, Manuel for bringing us the most amazing tacos, fruits, cheese , ice cream and anything else we could want from him. The conversation and friendliness from this two were unmatched, including Adrian, how we loved talking about football with since he played in the States! Thank you for thee most extraordinary service and friendships that we will treasure for years to come...We will be back!!

    We recently spent 7 nights at El Dorado Royale and have nothing but good things to say about our trip. The service and staff were top notch as expected at El Dorado resorts. Our room was very nice with a great location in the members section (building 5). We found ourselves at the beach every day at the southern most part of the resort. There was a bar right there and small grill area for lunch right on the beach - great food. I read other reviews complaining about the size of the resort- yes, it is big. But we were happy to walk the beautiful grounds and never had any issues finding a golf cart if we were in a hurry for dinner. Some people are just flat out lazy and love to complain! The beach was beautiful but swimming was tough with the high winds, seaweed, and rocks. The beach crew did a great job trying and manage the seaweed on shore and keep things clean. Staff said it was typical this time of year to get seaweed and some wind pushing it in to shore - we did not care and still found the beach to be amazing! The only thing that could be improved was the house wine selection. We are big wine drinkers and found the Cabernet and Merlot to be quite disappointing. Jonathan at the Las Olas bar was fantastic and took great care of us all week with great drinks and beachside service. Our butler Manuel was top notch and also took great care of us - great guy and fun to talk to. Juan at the Casitas bar was also joy to talk to, we made it a point to see him every afternoon for a drink after finished at the beach. Thanks again to these great staff members that made a difference during our stay!

    We found tgat we were far away from the main lobby. the carts took very long fir pick up sometimes waiting for 30 to 35 minutes. We enjoyed the walk all day but in evenings when dressed up to go out we wanted a cart. Our rooms were last to be cleaned some days at 5 pm. Not acceptable. Our swim up area was dirty and lots of stuff in the water. We had trouble twice with our dinner reservations as the restaurant was closed when we got there. So had to try somewhere else that left us eating dinner at 9:39 and 10 pm. We were also very upset that we had to up pay for steaks or lobster or many other things. Is that not why we pay so much to join because we are all inclusive? That was very very disappointing. Also our alcohol in our room was wrong and after many attempts to fix we said forget it. Lastly the spa although a wonderful place 400.00 for a 80 minutes massage. Used to be 200.00 for a 90 minute massage. The place is always empty because it is way over priced. We spoke to many many people who would not pay for that. Such a shame that the outside massage area on the beach was always empty. Thanks The Kerr’s
