Ocean Coral & Turquesa

This resort was a relaxing getaway that was much needed during this pandemic. Safety: Staff wear masks at all times (indoors and outdoors), guests are asked to wear masks indoors, and there are hand sanitizer stations in the entryway of every restaurant! The resort takes Covid seriously which we really appreciated. If you need a Covid test before you leave the resort, guest services can coordinate that for you. Your test can be done right at the resort (very convenient) for an additional cost. Beach/Pools: The beach is so beautiful and well maintained/clean. Pools have TONS of chairs and umbrellas. Food: We loved our dinners at the Italian, Mexican, and Japanese restaurants. Make sure to make a reservation at the Japanese restaurant- it books up fast! It was difficult to figure out which restaurants were open each day- we wished there was some kind of schedule so we could have known one day ahead of time which ones were open/closed the next day. Staff/Activities: We loved that the resort lists all of the activities for the week ahead of time. Some of the activities that we enjoyed were corn hole, darts, Zumba, pool volleyball, beach volleyball, Bingo, crazy loco game! We want to give a special shout out to Jorge and Alberto who made our trip that much more special. Jorge is an amazing dancer, performer, entertainer. He is SO MUCH FUN and such a kind person. Alberto is a BEAST on the volleyball court and also an amazing performer! Alberto is also just truly a great, down to earth person. We loved getting to know both of them! They made us feel at home miles and miles away from our home :) We would definitely come back to this resort and highly recommend it to others!

We had dinner at the Italian restaurant at H10 Ocean Coral and Turquesa - fantastic! My husband and I decided to splurge (a little) on a dinner that featured wine pairing with each course. Every course was excellent, wines were wonderful, especially dessert! Thank you to Zuriel Sommelier and his partner Jose for a good evening.

Zuriel Sommelier and Jose the waiter were excellent! The wine pairing with the food was the best experience I have had at the resort so far. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the resort!

My husband, son and I went to this resort over Christmas week. We had such a great time. The staff is amazing! We got to know some of the staff personally and they really went above and beyond to make our experience exceptional. Some people in particular I’d like to mention is Hugo who manages all the bars on site, Estrella one of the lounge waitresses, Gabriel, Luisa and Javier who are restaurant managers at the restaurants on site, Gustavo one of the waiters on the Steakhouse, Franky one of the lounge bartenders, Jose who made sure we had chairs at the privilege beach every day and Luis and Enrique the Privilege Butlers. And Richy, the server on the Privilege Beach who always made sure we had drinks when we wanted them and kept us stocked with water. And of course the many others whose names I may not have mentioned. We stayed in a royal privilege master suite and we ended up getting upgraded to the honeymoon suite. The cleaning crew kept our room clean and neat. Our room was huge and we had a full ocean view. We had such a great time that we are going back this February to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Also, the resort adheres to all safety guidelines as far as COVID 19 goes with mask requirements, temperature checks before entering any restaurant and hand sanitizer. The resort was hit with a couple of hurricanes in Oct 2020 and they are constantly repairing and upgrading the damages. This didn’t effect our stay at all. We had such a wonderful time and can’t wait to go back next month!
