Lousy room-Great staff and view

chucknonverbal (Portland, Oregon) on Apr 13, 2024

Absolutely wonderful staff, very great view, but ...our room itself was not in the least Westin level. Leaky shower, stuck sliding door, broken toilet handle, etc. and the worst of it...chinsaw-like mechanical sounds off inside the walls mixed with a blinking WiFi box light that we were told "Just couldn't be fixed." We had a lousy sleep every night because of the lights and sounds. I have stayed at many Westin Hotels around the globe...this was the worst room by a long shot.

Lovely hotel on the seawall

Kristi M on Apr 11, 2024

Always a favourite local staycation option. Service is always lovely, rooms are clean and comfortable and the views towards the North Shore and mountains are always a lovely treat. We love watching the boats in the marina and harbour and walking the seawall. One of our favourite local hotels. It’s about a 15 min walk to the shopping on Robson which on a summer day is the absolute best!

Lovely stay!

teeroche (Revelstoke, Canada) on Apr 08, 2024

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights. He was on business I was along for the ride.. We had phenomenal service from check in to check out. The bellman showed us our room and all it's perks. He was lovely! (Forget his name :( ) The gents out front helped me with Taxi's and always held the door open for me. The pool and sauna were nice and clean and relaxing. The VIEW IS GORGEOUS!!! Beds comfy and clean. We will definitely stay here again.

Family Trip with baby

Lauren B (Calgary, Canada) on Apr 03, 2024

Stayed for a family vacation with my one year old. The hotel provided us a crib which worked great and my daughter slept well. Perfect location for walking the waterfront, downtown Vancouver and Stanley park. The hotel room was comfortable, a good size and both the indoor and outdoor pools were very nice. Only complaint was the pillows were not comfortable.

Not a 5 star; 3.5 at best.

Moira B (Calgary, Canada) on Mar 31, 2024

Rooms are outdated. Beds and pillows are old and uncomfortable. They allowed people’s dogs to wander everywhere in the building, many off leash which was of poor taste and class, not to mention unhygienic. What about people with allergies? There was a hole in the ceiling of the shower; the hallways were dirty, as were the elevators. The room service staff shout in the hallways and knock of your door even with a “do not disturb” sign. As for service… what service? The bell man didn’t want to help us with our bags. Room service is very limited; they also charge 15% on top as well as a delivery fee. Rooms are on par with best westerns both in quality, service and room size. I don’t know how they can justify calling this a 5 star hotel because it is not. Our family has stayed in 5 star hotels all over the world and this hotel doesn’t come close.
