Once the home of the 1988 Winter Olympics, Calgary is one of the few host cities in the world whose Olympic facilities are still used year-round. Visit Canada Olympic Park in the winter and go skiing, snowboarding, skating and even bobsledding (accompanied by a professional bobsled driver). In the summer, the park offers winding mountain bike trails with a chairlift to get you back to the top, and the Skyline zipline that shoots you downhill, slowing at the bottom with the help of a parachute. Park admission is free, but admission for individual sports activities vary. Check with your hotel concierge for details.
