This was our 25th Anniversary trip. We booked the all inclusive package with a travel agent. Due to COVID, we had to check in at the golf resort, our check in area was pretty much closed. There were also typical COVID changes around the resort. Overall we the room, the staff and all of the facilities were great. I recommend taking advantage of the regular shuttles that run on the street side of the complex, as some of the restaurants and attractions you'll want to visit are on the far end, and it's a decent walk. The only less than great experience we had was with the Asian (Ginger) themed restaurant. The food tastes were not bad, but not what we're accustomed to with authentic restaurants in the US. We also had the misfortune of being there at the same time as some sort of birthday or event happening at another table, which had the attention of the staff. We didn't get checked on, and never got the second round of drinks we ordered. The Mexican (Pure Lime) themed restaurant was closer on tastes, but still a bit off with portions. COVID testing for departure was a much better experience here than at home, from scheduling to receiving the results in 24 hours. With all the stress we went through to get testing at home, this was a huge plus. We do hope we can afford to come back again, maybe for our 30th!

My husband and I traveled to Aruba to celebrate our 50th Birthdays! We both turned 50 in February! This was our 5th trip to Aruba and it always feels like walking into a dream as soon as we step off the airplane! The airport is so well organized and all of the airport staff are extremely helpful and accommodating! We had all of our proper paperwork and ?to safely arrive with our passports in our backpacks! It took 30 minutes from the plane to the taxi! Nice and smooth! We arrived and were greeted with the best smiles and care especially from Jesus! He heard it was my birthday that day we arrived and gave me some great Aruba gifts! Candy and Nikki from the sales office gave me a bottle of Champagne! They made my birthday very special! We arrived very early and our room was being prepared so we were able to leave our luggage in a safe closet and go have have lunch at Mulligans! Once again the best service ever! We were blessed with Donna on most of our visits to Mulligans! She is so sweet and personable! Food was delicious and great seats overlooking the golf course every time!! The rest of our trip continued to get better and better! Ramoan drove us and our luggage to our room! He whistles like the beautiful birds of Aruba! He was so fun! We told him we came to celebrate our birthday and he came back with a beautiful bottle of Chardonnay wrapped up with ribbon! I could go on and on! The restaurants were all open were all wonderful! The Tiki Bar and grill was our go to! Best meals and we felt like we had our own personal staff! Leidy always greeted us with a smile and great conversation and took such good care of us every day! The chef was amazing! She prepared everything perfectly! Gomara gave us invaluable information about the island and is so nice! Selma was an amazing bartender and a lot of fun! Bingo was fun and we won! We met so many people that come year after year and some stay for weeks! Shout out to Eric and Candy in the sales office who are informative and enjoyable to work with. Denroy and Erwin who are great trolly drivers and so caring. We also love Julio at the Pizza Per Tutti! Love the braids!! We were happy with all of the restaurants and bars! Sandpiper does have the best burgers! Everything was so clean and all of the staff had their masks on at all times! We were so sad to leave 8 days later! The weather was beautiful as always! We were once again through the airport in 30 minutes! We already booked our trip to go back next year before we left! That makes it a little easier to leave! The Divi makes us feel like we have a family and home away from home and we are so thankful to be able to escape to our perfect paradise!

My husband and I came here Valentines week for our honeymoon! We stayed one week in the Dutch village and just had the best time. The staff here was so nice, friendly and accommodating. The hotel was clean and we felt incredibly safe during these covid times. We ate at a lot of the restaurants The Divi has to offer. 3 weeks later and we are still talking about the nachos from Mulligan’s! It was easy to get around & the complimentary shuttle service was so great. The beach and pool area was absolutely pristine (as was our hotel room.) We absolutely cannot wait to come back here!

The Divi Dutch Village is my heaven! The Divi Dutch Village is my heaven! This resort is located in the low rise area, which is about a 20 minute walk to downtown. Or you can catch the city bus, (mini van) to downtown for $2.00. I chose the Dutch Village because it is very safe friendly and quiet resort. There are only 3 levels at the Dutch Village, 3 pools with one having a swim up bar. Steps away from the beach. At times the beach has been washed away in some areas, but it always comes back. It is just mother nature. Here, you do not have to get up at the crack of dawn to get a papaya on the beach or chaise lounges. You don't even need to pack a bag to go to beach, it is right there! As far as the staff, they are top rate. Jolene, the head housecleaning keeps on top of everyone staying at the resort. Should you need anything, she will make it happen. Shirley at the swim up bar, knows everyone and will always great you as family! The pool man arrives every morning at 6:00 am to vacuum and clean the pools. Every morning he would greet me with a smile and a good morning, bon dia! The yard man would come tend to the bushes and sweep the grass areas for any leaves or debris. This resort is spotless and beautiful. This vacation was different this year with the virus. I came by myself for 3 weeks and I had no doubt that I would be completely safe at the Dutch Village. The golf cart shuttles will take you to their sister resorts or the casino. All are required to wear a mask and there are multiple hand sanitizes. Every building that you enter, they take your temperature and sanitize your hands. It is safer here, than back in the states. Aruba and The Dutch Village have my heart for a caribbean vacation. There is no other place that I would rather be.

We just returned from a wonderful and relaxing vacation at Dutch Village. The staff was attentive and gave superlative service. We upgraded to a one bedroom unit (not a problem). The unit was recently renovated, spotless and looked brand new! We will be back next year!!
