From the Mojito greeting in the lobby.... no.... from the valet greeting in the driveway everything about this resort screams 'welcome...glad you're here'...! This was our fourth stay at Manchebo and it's amazing how the staff all remember you from years past. We're somewhat seasoned Aruba travelers and gave up years of high rise hotels for the tranquility and calm of Manchebo. Each day Josuel would greet me on the beach to set up my palapa and check back on us occasionally to be sure all was good. The beach is supurb and spacious, the palapas are well spaced and you still get the feeling of intimacy. Lunch at Pega Pega every day was our mid-day break... everyone at the bar was quite helpful, friendly and fun! The room was great with a nice view and I liked the options for clean linens and towels...very responsible. Housekeeping did a decent timely job with cleaning and restocking the room...... but I did have to chase down decaf coffee a couple of times! If that's my biggest problem for 12 nights at this wonderful resort.... I can certainly live with it! The room was quite modern and the rainfall shower was very nice. We ate at Ike's and loved it.... and ate at the Chophouse and loved it even more. Just a nice elegant relaxed dinner served by Harold. The Chophouse is such an upgrade from the old French Steakhouse! More than once we headed to the lobby without dinner reservations and Sandra or Melvyn got our reservations and a taxi handled in short order..... again, everyone is so helpful at Manchebo! My wife and I are already starting to plan next year's trip.... and it will be 'destination Manchebo' again...... It's such a great feeling to 'come home' again. I really wish we had discovered this resort 16 or 17 years ago!

Traveled to Aruba with my adult daughter. We stayed in a Ocean View room with 2 standard beds on the first floor. I did not consider the room luxurious, but it was functional. The room had plenty of electrical outlets & mirrors for me & my daughter to get ready in the morning & afternoon. The beds were very comfy. Plenty of hot water in the shower & the water pressure was good. The room had a microwave, mini fridge, lighted makeup mirror (a big plus), bath robes, slippers & a small ice chest for the beach. Another plus was the patio had a towel rack for your wet swimsuits. There were plenty of lounge chairs, Palapas and resort provided beach towels. There is a beach attendant on staff that will assist you with chairs & towels. The beach is beautiful, but very windy. Expect to have sand in your food, drinks & face. There is a small gift shop at the resort that you can purchase drinks, snacks, toiletries & souvenirs. There is also, a small shopping mall located within walking distance of the resort with a convenient store, restaurants and souvenir shopping. The resort & island seemed very safe. We took a cab into town several times & never felt threatened. The cab fare is $20.00 round trip. The staff was very friendly & helpful. We had a wonderful time.

The manchebo is a beautyful hotel for a honeymoon. We spent there 3 weeks. The people were friendly, the island is beautyful and the beach is so nice. For dinner you can chose three restaurants and spezialy Herold from Chophouse is a really nice waiter. Also the people from the Bar are really nice.

Manchebo was fantastic. Beach is the best in Aruba! If you want the more commercialized version with lots of noisy tourists, this is not the place for you. My wife and I had the time of our lives. Absolutely no issues with anything. We stayed for an entire week and not a single complaint.

    Best Honeymoon Location!

My husband and I spent 10 days of our honeymoon bliss at Manchebo Beach Resort and Spa! We could not have asked for a better time, so relaxing, fun, gorgeous weather, but what really made our stay so awesome was the friendly, welcoming, funny staff at Manchebo! Before we even arrived to Aruba, Vivian was incredibly helpful in booking our stay and assisting with setting up our all-inclusive honeymoon package, which was worth every last penny! (so many extra little touches to make our honeymoon extraordinary) Upon arrival, we were greeted by the front desk staff and the bell hops like we were family! Entienne, Setchel, and Chris were always smiling and making us laugh when we came and left from the resort! Mila and Sandra helped us several times at the front desk while always being so pleasant. The hostesses, waiters, and waitresses at Pega Pega, Ike’s Bistro, and the Chophouse that we had exceptional service from include: Adalgiza, Jean, Alex, Harold, Siebe, Dyanell, Rebecca, and Carmen! They all made us feel like we had known them for years! Many laughs and good times, while enjoying delicious food! My husband’s favorite meal was the ribeye from The Chophouse and I had too many excellent meals at all three locations to just pick one! The bar staff at Pega Pega was the most fun, lively group ever! Can’t say enough great things about Ignacio, Gershon, Ronny, Carolina, and Blanco! Even the cooks/chefs were fun to be around! We were greeted several times during our stay by the head chef, Sandro, and we had awesome experiences with Sandra at Pega Pega and Phalene at Ike’s for breakfast! Finally, and definitely not least, the beach staff was amazing! Josuel was the most polite and helpful gentleman, but also so funny! Angel, William, and Fabian also helped us several days to set up on the beach with smiles on their faces! We can’t wait to tell everyone back in the States how AMAZING Manchebo is! Thank you all for the best honeymoon ever! Love, The Santiagos
