    My husband and I live nearby and we decided to treat ourselves to a long weekend on the beach. You can’t beat the location and picturesque settings aground the property. There are ample places to sit back and relax and just take in the scenery. The hotel is made up of different buildings and we stayed on the 7th floor in the Watkins building. The room and grounds are very well maintained and clean. I appreciated the bathrobe to be used during our stay as well as the updated TV. We also ate lunch at the Sunset Beach Bar & Grill and the food and service were great. We had breakfast at HB’s on our morning out and that was fantastic. There’s a small convenience store located in the front lobby with snacks and Starbucks coffee. However, they close early, so be mindful of that. My only three complaints were with the coffee pots in the rooms, the charge for the beach chairs and umbrellas, and the bars. We are paying a decent amount of money to stay here, so I feel that the beach chairs and umbrellas should be offered to us, free of charge. It was $20 a day. Also, the coffee pots in the room are anything but usable. They’re very old tiny pots that have these odd shaped filters that are only good for a single cup. You wouldn’t be able to bring coffee from home. You’d have to use what was provided. It’s a HUGE plus for me to be able to start my day with some coffee before getting ready to go out. Lastly, there are two bars near the beach and pool but the drinks are CRAZY expensive and I don’t think there’s hardly any alcohol in them at all. I eventually stopped ordering drinks because I was paying $13 or $14 for a drink that was made up of mostly juice. Both bars were similar in this area. ?? I would recommend that you bring your own drinks and leave them in your mini fridge.

    When we checked into our room, we were not very happy..however the resort itself is beautiful. Pools were fantastic. Bars and restaurants very good. Loved the Tiki umbrella and lounge chairs (had to pay). We chose to save on ocean front room and used xtra money on chairs and umbrella daily :) The room is beyond outdated. No closet and very small dresser. Had an armoire with 6 hangers. We paid a great rate thru Expedia and had a wonderful time!

    I attended the Hotel for my best friend's wedding, Which had gotten moved several times due to COVID even with all the craziness that is going on the service was incredible and outstanding. Jessica who was the wedding planner did such a gorgeous job with capturing my best friend dream wedding there were some hiccups along the way but Jessica was always around providing with assistance. Jessica is the best, super sweet and caring. The hotel was quiet and relaxing even if we were having a blast the night before, celebrating her last day as a Single women. We had to call front desk a couple of times during the night because of one of our family member door wouldnt open and to ask for blankets. They answered super fast and provided with assitance right away. I was amazed at the great services we had during that weekend. The best part is that the Beach its super clean and water is clean no algaes. Overall a HUGE thank you to JESSICA for making my best friends wedding a dream come true.

    I love this property, iconic Naples on the beach resort with ALL the amenities you’d want. But it’s the outstanding above and beyond customer service that stands out to me. I strongly recommend staying here.

    Quick summary: this was a wonderful stay in a clean, comfortable room with nice amenities, lovely pool and beach areas, and some things open on site, while still staying safe during COVID19 concerns. Friendly, professinal staff couldn't be better! Lovely grounds. To note: we stayed just as this area of Florida was opening up, and stayed during the week. We were able to enjoy the beach, as well as the pool area. I understand that the beaches could get more crowded during the weekends, and the city of Naples continually monitors how much of the actual beach they allow to be open, and what you can do there. I know that the city plans more restrictions for Memorial Day weekend. This is beyond the control of the hotel. First up: the staff were all friendly, helpful and professional. 'Could not ask for better. We stayed in room 090 in the Cabana building. This is a sea-view ground-floor room which opens to a personal patio area with two sitting chairs and table, lovely for your own sunset cocktails. The spacious room has 2 queen beds, with lots of pillows, duvet with separate sheets (I am often too warm with a duvet, even if the AC is cranked up - a topsheet is fine.) Good sized closet with lots of hangers. The credenza contains the fridge, and six drawers. Loveseat sofa. Good-sized work desk (thank you, as we had a few things to manage from the office.) The ice machine is a short walk away. All the amenities you expect in a good hotel: coffee/tea maker, iron/board, fridge, TV with a good assortment of channels, clock/radio. Two robes with the hotel logo were in the room!! Great souvenir ($75 each to take home.) This room has two separate sink areas, one in the area with a toilet and roomy shower (no bathtub.) All the toiletries: shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, shower gel, face wash, shower cap. (I hate to promise all of these, but that's what was in the room when we stayed.) Good counter space to spread out your own stuff. High quality towels. I love the smaller touches - shell bits in the sink countertops; large photo prints from Clyde Butcher, the Ansel Adams of the Everglades, on the walls; lovely plantings throughout the grounds. During COVID19, the safe distance policies meant that your room could be serviced as you wished. We had no problem getting what we wanted, e.g. fresh towels, coffee setups, room tidied, etc. This is a great hotel for beach access. While you can bring your own stuff, there are permanent tiki thatched roof "umbrellas" for rent ($20) with beach lounges (extra) or regular big umbrellas. The latter were at a discount rate during COVID19. The staff sets up for you, to ensure appropriate distance. The pools are lovely with tropical plantings and umbrellas all around, with towels and beach lounges provided complimentary. The smaller pool is designated for adults only. The larger is a nice size. There is also a hottub spa. I have to admit that these areas were not crowded during COVID19, but could get more crowded if more people booked into the hotel. The beach and pool offer other services and "toys," i.e. paddle boards, etc. The poolside restaurant has delicious food. Try the conch fritters. Unless you are a really big eater, I recommend that you split the order of grouper tacos (and yes, you have to get the grouper tacos!) Two good-sized tacos with a mountain of good French fries come in the order. HB's on the beach is the hotel's elegant seaside restaurant. We did not go this time as we were anxious to check out some other places in Naples as they opened up. Broadwell's the restaurant at the golf club, was closed for COVID19, as was the seaside beach bar, a real dagger through the heart as this has been a longtime favorite place for a drink. Check out the souvenir shop in the lobby. While small, there is a variety of choice items. Besides the expected quality tees, caps, golf, and beachwear in a variety of designs (some hotel logo, some other designers like Tommy Bahama and Llilly Pulitzer), check out the specialty pottery and mugs from a local potter (Rice?), beach accessories, books about the area, beach totes, etc. Toys and children's wear also available. The Seminole store is a good place to pick up moring coffee and pastries, sandwiches. There is also a good range of REAL NEWSPAPERS!! YAY!!! Ask the hotel about other amenities as they re-open. The spa and other services (pedicures, etc.) were closed when we visited. Golf shop was closed. I'm sure they can help with or arrange a number of other activities (fishing?) We have been coming to Naples for many years. Some years, we rent a house that better accommodates a larger, multi-generational household. Even so, in every year, a stop at the Naples Beach Hotel is a must for many reasons - beach bar, dining, gift shop, Seminole shop for coffee, etc. We were so happy to be able to actually stay at this hotel before it gets re-developed in the next year or so. It is still a very comfortable, enjoyable stay in a hotel built in the mid-century era, but well-maintained. It has an ambiance of Florida that is part luxury, part laid-back, but not overdone glitzy. Yo may also want to talk with the hotel about specific rooms - there are a few buildings, and I'm not sure which will be open. Due dilligence: my quibbles are relatively minor, and I recognize that the hotel only wants to add some things before the property is re-developed (these may not be issues with all rooms.) 1. I wish there were more outlets to plug in the digitial devices. 2. We are big readers. Brighter lighting in the rooms would be helpful in some spots. Quick summary: would i return? In a minute!! We love this place!!! I will anxioulsy follow how the property gets re-developed.
