Secrets Huatulco Resort & Spa

Incredible service provided by the hotel's staff. Without a doubt the best I've received in any hotel I've been to I'd highly recommend it for anybody who's looking to have a great time. Also the food was incredible. Everything was well done. And with great variety of the different restaurants in the hotel.

Beautiful private beach. There are a lot of activities and lessons such as kayak, sailing, archery, spa, snorkeling, gym, (pools everywhere) etc. All the facilities are in top condiition, and the staff is amazing. Kudos to the group

Huatulco is a beautiful location but the resort needs work. It is in need of serious work. The pool area is beautiful. The sky bar has very little ambiance and could be a gorgeous place to hang out. The Preferred Club is non-existent. Don't pay for this because it's not somewhere you would want to hang out like Wild Orchid Jamaica or Secrets, Punta Cana, which had a full service bar, butler service, great snacks and hor d oeuvres. If you get a chance, renting a boat (Captain Luis) was an exceptional excursion. He took us to the 9 bays but places other boats could not go.

We had a wonderful week at Secrets Huatulco. The hotel is great, the panoramic view beautiful, the sea, very calm. But the most important thing here is all the personal working here. Restaurant managers were very kind and helpful, attending every need we had. Nemorio at breakfast time was solitud; Orlando, watched our special celebration was great; Ricardo very kind, also. Mardeli took our beverages to the beach every day, always with a smile. Antonio and Salvador attended us too. We had a wonderful time at the spa, helped by Yuliana and Angel. There was a problem with the electric contact in our room, called the front desk, and they immediately solved the problem. They practice all the sanitazion regulations very stricly, so we felt very secured all the time. Definately, we recomend Secrets Huatulco Resort & Spa

We continue to come back every year at March I would probably say the biggest reason is the perfect weather! The thing that upsets me about this Resort is they don't acknowledge repeat visitors.. I try to email every year to get the building that we like and it always seems to be a problem I've never been upgraded for many years we went to the same Resort in the Riviera Maya and they gave us nice upgrades every year and we never had to ask.. The resort was about 25% full so why not upgrade the 25% that showed up it's not easy to get to this area by plane so it's pretty stressful where generally you can get a non-stop flight to some of the bigger areas in Mexico! With the low occupancy there were only two restaurants open and the menu was very limited but it seemed every meal we received was cold which didn't make for a very pleasant meal so we decided from then on we would go to town every night and have dinner it's a shame we spent all this money and couldn't eat dinner at the resort...I am a bit picky but I usually don't have a problem finding something. If I'd know all these I would have definitely went elsewhere this year! Service is always right on here!! Nathly which greets you every morning for breakfast is such a delight! As you come out of breakfast you are approached by the sales team for the resort...We talked with Bernardino he was awesome every day giving us lots of local information! Candy from the spa is always a pleasure to help with information or spa appts.. Pool service was off the chart..Between the beautiful Mardeli who been there for years always a smile..and the other guy we had at out swim-up was amazing! Great service!Hands down to the porters they all knew our names all week great personality!! We saw alot of wear n tear to the resort that really needed some love..Why not work on this stuff and give some people some work and also spruce it up our swim up could really use some help had a lot of black stuff around the pool tiles were coming up all around our balcony.. These people work very hard in this heat they have not had many people being there they rely on tips when we got ready to leave we started handing out the rest of the cash we brought to those who went beyond for us! The look in there eye was wishing I had more to give! Hoping to go back next March and things are back to normal..
