Less than luxury

This should be a high end luxury hotel. Instead, I felt like they were cutting every corner they could to squeeze an extra dollar, at the expense of the experience. Towels were cheap and scratchy, the hot water didn’t work very well (it look almost 15 minutes to get hot enough to shower), the coffee pot was cheap and made like warm coffee, the shampoos and body soap wouldn’t lather or clean, and the pillows were completely flat - only about an inch thick.
Beautiful Location friendly helpful staff

Really lovely location. I would rate this Hotel as four stars rather than five. The room was clean and comfortable but not luxurious . We found the food here not so good and very expensive compared to the UK. We had the buffet breakfast included which was just as well as we would not have paid over 100 dollars for it and would have preferred to use the Starbucks on site. We ate lunch and dinner a couple of times- including the Pizza's from the Pizza Wagon on site but these were not good - we then started eating out - we went to the Tommy Bahama's in the shopping mall next door -that was great - and then the Monkey Pod and a steak restaurant. We moved to the Fours seasons after five nights and the food was considerably better. On a positive note the grounds and the views are absolutely stunning - we saw whales in the sea right in front of the hotel - amazing! The staff were friendly and helpful and overall it was a lovely stay - very quiet in the evening though no entertainment and all the bars closed at 9.00 pm.
Amazing View

The most beautiful place I have ever been! Our room was perfect. The view is amazing. There is a great walk/run trail that runs along the beach. You can get in a three mile run/walk. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Most walking distance and some within an extremely short drive. Unfortunately there is a resort fee as well as a parking fee so that puts you at an extra hundo a day. The room internet did not work and was never repaired after I notified the front desk twice even though they sent someone to the room. The only time I wanted to use it was to stream tv at night as we were never in the room during the day. Food and drink prices are on par with Las Vegas and Nashville. They do have a hospitality lounge for early/late arrivals that is nice.

Loved this hotel! The lobby was so nice, felt so open and spacious, and the views were absolutely amazing stunning. The staff were incredibly nice. The restaurants were so good, especially the poolside dining food and drinks. The beach was so fun! Lots of big waves. I would love to come back here again!
Very nice family friendly resort

Overall, this is a great family resort that has a little something for everyone. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. They have many pools but we only get to enjoyed the kids pool. The kids pool has 2 large slides and 2 small slides for the younger kids. It’s right next to Mo’bettah food truck. They also have a bar but it doesn’t open till 11 am for drinks and food, which was quite a miss in my opinion. And they stop serving food around 4pm. The kids pool is not too far of a walk to the Wailea beach. If you want beach chairs and umbrella, you have to get to the activity stand to get your name on the list as early as possible because they only have limited no of chairs and umbrellas - first come first serve and you’ll get on waitl list if they run out. Look for someone by the blue umbrellas when you get to the beach. They’ll help you set up. No drink or food service the beach. You can rent boogie boards, kayaks, etc there. We rented a bogie board for $32/day but must be returned by 2.45pm. You have to go back to the resort to get any food or drinks. The closest one is next to activity stand. BUT, I had a really off and rude experience. The second day we were day, this lady asked me for an ID when I ordered Pina Colada. Of course I didn’t my ID on me when I’m at a resort so I showed her a picture of my ID. She gave me a hard time and said that she needs to see a REAL PHYSICAL ID! She then said she’ll make an exception for me but I have to consume my drink at the stand and can’t bring it out! I was like WTH?!? I didn’t get any trouble or what so ever when ordering my drink the day before. There’s a Starbucks on property that opens 645am-630pm. A nice place to get inexpensive breakfast because an Açaí Bowl will run you $18 at the stand. There’s a huge game room across from Starbucks which opens 7am-10pm. It’s a complete game room with skee balls, arcade, and shuffle board. Our room is very well appointed. We have one of the junior suite overlooking the ocean with a nice balcony with lounge chairs and sofa. Perfect place to watch the sunset (around 630pm). The staffs are great and very friendly. They gave us a nice chocolate and birthday card for my son when we got to our room.
