Will miss the aquarium?

tamaraharvey468 (Sheboygan, Wisconsin) on Apr 19, 2024

With the upcoming renovations to Hard Rock, I wonder if the aquarium will remain. Our first time staying at The Mirage and it was nice. Rooms were clean and a good size but in need of updates. The staff was more than accommodating. We had reserved seating at the pool and was assured the section was monitored and people that didn’t have a reservation had to move. No one monitored, but we informed people they couldn’t sit there without paying. We had to pay! Kuddo’s to Maria’s staff of lifeguards, they really jumped in when needed and helped a gentleman. Until next time. Viva Las Vegas!!

Brilliant

Mark W (Rome, Italy) on Apr 19, 2024

Unbelievable hotel. Great experience from the start. Check in was seamless and the rooms were exactly as advertised. Breakfast was good and the overall hotel atmosphere was what made it special. We had meals out most of the time but when we did eat in the hotel we were not disappointed. Felt very safe all of the time and could not fault any of the amazing staff Thankyou.

Terrible stay; dirty, blood marks and hair in the bathroom

Liu N on Apr 15, 2024

I booked at the Mirage for 2 nights to celebrate my girlfriend’s 50th birthday and after doing some research, decided to stay at the Mirage. The best price we could get per night was $292.63 ( 659.98 for 2 nights, not including the $95 resort fees). We were so excited about this trip and about the hotel we chose. It was so heartbreaking when we got to the hotel the room had hair all over the bathroom tub and there was blood spots on the wall next to the TV. On top of it there was a musky smell to the room and the windows where yellow/foggy which did not help the view. I was so sad to see what room we got for the price that we paid ($659.98 plus $95 resort fee). The beds were not even King size which was what we selected when booking. it was really hard to enjoy our experience. I did not even feel comfortable using the bathroom. Felt so dirty. Whenever we try to, it seems like they just wanted the little bit of money we left and at the same time that room was not worth it. We did not even go on a special weekend or a holiday weekend. I don’t understand why this hotel is so much money for the poor, quality and service we received. I wish I could go back in time and pick any other Hotel. Please save your money! I would hate for you to be as disappointed as we were.

Not the Mirage it used to be.

StanToronto (Toronto, Canada) on Apr 09, 2024

Very good location, comfortable clean room, staff is very nice and helpful. BUT: The check-in line-up is always very long and inefficient (caused primarily by understaffing the front desk). This was an ongoing problem throughout our stay and not only started our holiday with a question mark but later interfered with any attempt to speak to a manager (staff insisted that you had to wait your turn in line for the front desk to ask for a manager). The pool and pool area was closed. The gym and spa were only available from 8am-5pm. The Resort Fee of $12 per person per day per room ($24 per day for my wife & I) apparently does NOT cover the pool or the spa (which charges $30 per day per person using the spa). The sauna in the spa was just warm and truly not worth spending time in, much less the money to use it -- the attendant informed me that it was set at its maximum. The restaurants and pubs are very expensive ($20 for a glass of white wine at the Draft pub is as cheap as you're going to get it). We have visited Las Vegas several time in the past and have always been impressed with The Mirage, but now feels like it's seen it's best days. There are far better hotel/casino establishments on the strip. We won't be back.
