Best timeshare room in all of Vegas

The room has a projector in it with and can be played on the drop down window shade! Definitely felt like a high roller while in this room! Only complaint is on weekends, you can hear the parties going on all night in the other rooms and then during the week it was quiet! Loved being attached to the mall and Planet Hollywood, you were basically in the center of the strip!

    It’s a timeshare condominium

Hilton grand vacation properties or not hotels, so they can be used as such. They are, in truth, timeshare condominiums. We happen to own a property in New York, and so we were invited out to Las Vegas to discover this particular club. We knew what was coming, that included a sales presentation. That’s OK, we budgeted the time forward as part of our day. The Alora is luxurious. We stayed on the 56th floor, we had a marvelous view looking north to the Venetian, Bally’s, Paris, and even the waterfall at Bellagio. The appointments are nice, and in this particular case modern, there is a kitchen including a stove top, but not an oven. Transportation from the hotel property includes taxi, Uber, and Lyft. In short, the property as well positioned within the Las Vegas strip region. Do you note that while there are a couple of bars on the property, and a Starbucks, at this time there is no food service. That’s OK, the property is attached to planet Hollywood’s miracle mile shops, and there is a nice bar and grill that has a very inexpensive but very good breakfast very close by.

My wife, kids and I had a blast on this trip. The room was a nice get away from being locked down in our house during this pandemic. We used the movie screen and projector, we used the jacuzzi tub, hotel pool and rented movies. The Elara being attached to the mall is helpful for the ability to get to my clean esteries and shops without having to walk through a casino with kids.

I really wanted to give this hotel 5 stars! We were so excited to stay at Elara. We stayed in other Vegas Hiltons but not this one, and were extremely happy when we booked it. We got a junior suite on the 32 floor. The views were incredible at night, with the illuminated Eiffel tower and even some of the Bellagio fountains! But...Our happiness didn't last long. On the next day we found out that the room was beat up, and nobody cared to fix it. Jacuzzi didn't work, some bulbs and lights were out, the microwave door didn't open, the dishwasher had several dents in it and... get that - THERE WAS NO TABLE IN THE ROOM!!! Have you ever seen a hotel room with no table at all? Exactly! There was a kitchenette with small counter space and nothing else. Other similar rooms had two end tables by the couch and a table stand under the big TV on the wall. In our room there was none of that, just one end table with a lamp on it. Obviously, some people before us partied in our room and broke everything. Instead of fixing it and putting the furniture back, the hotel folks decided to keep it as is and continued putting people in that room not suitable for living. This is outrageous, because the hotel was half empty and they could easily lock that room for repair. The footrest that we tried to use as a table for eating was very uncomfortable and too soft for glasses and cups. So we had to eat with half of our food ON THE FLOOR and half on the footrest. We tried to talk to the management and requested at least a small table or a stand that was supposed to be in the room, but failed, though the manager assured me they take such things seriously. The manager said something about the fire code, which was a complete nonsense since all other rooms of the same kind had tables, but we didn't. Then they offered us a different room, but it didn't have the same views, and, most importantly, it was at the very end of the very long hallway, which was a problem for my husband who had medical condition and couldn't walk much. They didn't offer us anything else, though the hotel had many vacant rooms due to covid. So we stayed in that hotel for 10 days (not two or three or five - ten!!!) in the most beaten and neglected room! When I asked if they could at least not charge the resort fees for our stay, all I could get from them was credit of resort fees for two nights only, which was such a shame for a Hilton hotel that always tries to keep its reputation. In general it's a great hotel - beautiful and clean. The pool was good. Wish it was deeper in parts, but at least it was good size and we were able to keep social distancing. The only thing they need to improve is customer service/management. We heard complaints about it from other people as well, mostly about inability to accommodate people in appropriate rooms and their conditions.

    Elara is a Must Stay!!!
