For this trip I chose the Palazzo Tower instead of the Venetian Tower. I preferred the sleek contemporary furnishings and appointments of this tower over The Venetian. The resort is incredible and with countless dining and shopping options you never have to go outside. Each area I explored had amazing over the top decor. The room is huge and comparable in size and layout to The Venetian Tower. I enjoyed my stay and the service immensely. The drawbacks that keep me from a 5 star review: The thermostat in the room was adjustable but the setting would revert back to some pre-programmed level. The room was so hot I had trouble sleeping at night. If I turned it off it went back on after a while. The other reason is no bottled water and coffee maker in the room. It's inexplicable that a 5 star hotel IN THE DESERT doesn't have free bottled water in the room. A coffee maker is not outside the realm of necessary amenities in a hotel of this level. Trudging down to a long line at Starbucks each morning is not the way to start the day.

Stayed here three nights during a visit for a conference. Check in was very quick as there was no line at the front desk. Agent was very courteous and kind enough to give me a room on a high floor. The room is very spacious with excellent furnishings. Bathroom is large with tub, shower stall and makeup table with chair. Would definitely stay here again.

    Spring Break with family

We started our spring break in Vegas with our family that included a birthday celebration. We originally were booked at the Venetian for our four night stay, but upon check in were asked if we'd like to stay at the Palazzo because the rooms are newer. My husband said yes and I'm glad he did because the pool over at the Venetian was closed and the Spa is over on the Palazzo side. So, our kids which include two teenagers loved the suite which is oversized in my opinion. We were on the 32nd floor and too far from the elevator, but again room was very nice with robes and an oversized bathroom. No free water which was a bit annoying. Loved the push of the button to open and close the curtains. I enjoy slot machines, but.not at the Palazzo. The machines were super stingy. There was a Starbucks right off the elevators which is convenient for anyone needing their fix. The pool area was lovely, but only one hot tub. The workers there were nice and since it was Spring break it was very full however finding chairs wasn't an issue. Enjoyed the convenience of the easy access to the Fashion show mall; it's about a 5-10 minute walk through like a skywalk. I'm not sure if it's called a skywalk, but it's an access through the hotel in which you don't have to go outside on the street to get to the mall. My daughter and I also enjoyed the easy access to the Palazzo and Venetian shops. So happy they have a Honolulu Cookie Company. Overall, would recommend this hotel for the size of the room and the shopping, not the slot machines. I would recommend to leave your kids at home, because our kids thought people in Vegas were rude and/or inappropriate as well as too much smoke lingering everywhere.

We have just spent a week here in the Palazzo, check in was quick with friendly staff, the suite we had was really nice, the bed was so comfy, bathroom was huge with shower and bath with twin sinks, hairdryer and complimentary toiletries, cleaned every day, the hotel itself was beautiful, massive and linked to the venetian via the Grand Canal Shoppes, this in itself was fantastic and hard to belief we were inside the hotel, too much choice for eating, the shops were all designer so therefore very expensive, really the only fault we found was that the Venetian Pool Deck was closed for renovations meaning the Palazzo pool deck was very busy and a couple of days we couldn't even find a lounger, added to that there was a convention going on at the Sands Expo which is also linked to the hotel so the pool area was extremely busy, other than that it was a lovely place to stay.

    What happened to restaurant service?

Stayed this past weekend in a high floor suite. Great start, nice hotel and room was very nice and spacious. High floor was relatively quiet. View room not all that worthwhile with being at far end of strip. Restaurant service was major let down. Walked into Morels for a late night 10P, app and glass of wine. No hostess staff all hanging at back of restaurant. Walked in to ask if they were open. Found a server who said yes you can order from the menu at the bar. Bartender was more interested in hitting on girls at the bar then taking an order. Waited 20 minutes to order and watched him serve others while we waited. Told him not to worry and walked out to which he starts complaining we didn’t wait that long. Chica on Sunday morning. Would only sit you at bar without reservation. Main restaurant empty. Another wait to order, cup of coffee 15 mins, another 10 mins for cream. Entered wrong order and asked if we could just take what they served. It was close enough. Then they give you a bill asking for a tip from 20-40%. Mentioned it to manager as we walked out. His response - server didn’t mention anything. Why would they? Great room - suite. Go across the street to eat at another hotel.
