We have been coming to this resort for quite a few years. It is beautiful and in the past we have always had a magical stay. This year we noticed a definite decline in attention to detail and the quality of service and attitude of some of the staff. Overall, the service was very good but we observed an experienced too many exceptions to not take notice. We love this property and hope that things will go back to the state of excellence that we enjoyed in the

Great location and views. Decor and rooms need updating and some refreshing. Even though part of Marriot BonVoy program none or the perks such as late check out, parking are available. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

We have always loved this resort - in fact, have stayed here upwards of 20 times. Pride of Place is a concept that (to me) reflects pride in self/property/pretty much anything. Sadly, the Westin Princeville has slipped in this regard. I've notified them of my concerns and hope they're rectified before our next visit. The property itself is gorgeous; it is a matter of tending to the rooms that is of concern.

This was our second time staying here and we truly love it! The staff are friendly, helpful and accommodating - any concerns or problems are dealt with promptly and with a smile. The rooms are amazing, you really feel at home here. You won't want to spend much time in your room, though, because the grounds are magical - especially at night with the torches lit throughout the property, this is Hawaii at its finest. You can totally just relax and unwind here or enjoy a plethora of activities nearby. I highly recommend the Westin Princeville Resort Villas - just be careful entering and exiting the resort - the speed humps are REALLY aggressive.

This resort is located in Princeville in Kauai. It's about a 50 minute drive from the airport, but the drive is scenic and pretty easy. We stayed in a studio and had a great view of the mountains and a partial ocean view. The property is charming but no direct beach access. They do offer a free shuttle to the Princeville resort that does have beach access. The studio is comfortable enough for 2 people, but the bed was only a full size bed. The resort has a nice pool with several other smaller pool options. The Nanea restaurant was good for dinner, but a bit pricey. They do offer you a split where you can purchase 2 half orders of 2 dishes in place of 1 full dish. The resort has a nice game section with pool, ping pong, and a few other games. They did have a movie night on the lawn that we sadly missed. I would love to see them offer more options like a couple movie nights, more live music/ karaoke, dancing under the stars, Hawaiian grilling lessons, etc. The gym and steam room were great with a wonderful view as well. Nice little shop for food/ basics and Starbucks coffee. Parking is limited, but valet is only $2 additional over the self parking. Overall, we've really enjoyed this resort and are looking forward to returning.
