This was the first activity that I engaged myself in during my stay at this hotel. I had a fantastic time, the exercise was amazing and worked all the areas of my muscles. Thanks Jovanne for encouraging me to take part.

We got back last week from the Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton resort and we wish we could have stayed longer. The resort is massive and beautiful. It is a bit far from the airport (45 minutes to an hour) and is pretty secluded from other places but once you step foot onto the resort, you will feel welcomed. I traveled with my husband, in laws, and my two year old twin boys. We arrived around 5pm on a Friday afternoon and the check in process was not too long. I had emailed the resort a week before requesting which villas I would like as well as two cribs. We got exactly what we wanted. Villa 26 was so close to everything, right outside of the Kid's club where my twins liked to play, had an ocean view and very close to the Jerk Hut, beach, the main pool and everything else. Having such a close room was great for us as we had the babies and didn't want to have to walk far to anything. The only downside to requesting such a close room is that you can hear the noise from the parties and night shows. It didn't bother us as I brought a white noise machine from home for when the babies sleep. If you want to be away from everything and a quieter room, you can request a villa that's farther away from the lobby area. I loved our one bedroom suite. It had a separate living room so we spent most of our time there and let the twins nap in the bedroom section. Both our living room and bedroom had separate balconies which was an added touch. We even had a Jacuzzi tub which my twins loved to have bubble baths in. They cleaned our rooms, restocked our fridge and changed our towels/bath soaps everyday. The AC worked just fine and the room was always cool. We didn't have to wait long to get into any of the restaurants. The Jamaican, Hibachi and Indian were wonderful. The Italian was good but we waited a long time for our food. The seafood (Poseidon) wasn't the greatest. We probably could have skipped that one. We didn't get to try the Mexican but would have if we had enough time. Breakfast is good at the buffets but it is the same thing everyday. It didn't bother us though because it was quite delicious and there were many options. Miss Lou's had the best coffees so definitely try to visit on your trip. Drinks that were tasty were "Dirty Banana", "Purple Rain", and "Bob Marley". I also sipped on Rum cream on the rocks as well. They were delicious and enjoyable. I would advise to bring your own straws from home as they only use paper straws and they melt when trying to drink your frozen drinks. I brought mine based on other reviews and so glad I did. The ladies at the kid's club were so kind to our boys. We couldn't leave them unattended there because they were too young but we did go with them and they had a blast every time. There was even a dance party for the kids and a breakfast where the Raggs characters came to visit. My boys also enjoyed the water park. It was the perfect area for them to play. The beaches are lovely. There were so many to choose from. There were enough sunbeds and chairs that you always had somewhere to put your stuff. We were there for the white party on a Monday night and had so much fun. This was more of a family trip so we didn't really get to experience the night life on the resort. But there is a casino and nightclub there. There are evening shows as well. The dancers work really hard on their routines and it shows. The shows were pretty good. We celebrated my husband's birthday at the resort. I emailed the Smile Services and they came and decorated our room with a "happy birthday" balloon sign and gave us a cake and a bottle of champagne all for free. My husband was pleasantly surprised. Thank you to Phillippa from the Smile Services team for setting that up for us. All the staff we encountered were friendly, smiled and said hello. Overall, we had a wonderful family vacation. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great resort.

We spent a week at this resort as a family of 3 (2 adults and a 7 year old) and had a fabulous time! We had a 1 bedroom suite, which gave us tons of room and privacy. It had 2 separate balconies, a mini fridge, huge bathroom with separate tub and shower. The AC was strong and the hot water was plentiful. The beaches were great. Great soft sand and beautiful fishes at the La Brisas beach (extra fun if you bring a snorkeling mask). There were more activities and a slight lagoon-feel to the Sunset Cove beach. Both were a lot of fun. We did a snorkeling catamaran excursion from Sunset Cove that was really good (we booked it at the beach-front watersport desk). The pool is huge and fantastic. Lots of built-in loungers and ledges to sit on. Big swim up bar. The waterslide and splash pad area was great for kids (and right next to a bar if mom and dad want to grab a drink while they watch kiddo play). We never had trouble getting loungers by the pool or beach. There didn't seem to be people reserving them like at some other resorts. We also had no problem exchanging towels each day. Food was excellent. The A la Cartes were good and so was the buffet. We even ordered room service one night. The place is sprawling and beautiful and very well laid out. There are lots of common areas for entertainment and also lots of nooks and crannies to find your own special place to hang out. We really had a great vacation - I think there is something for everyone at this resort!

Not a luxury resort by any means

Not what I was expecting for the price we paid for this vacation. It was nice but not luxury by any means. The long wait times and lack of service was unexpected. Sometimes I would sit and call reception over and over and over and over again and the same with room service just to get someone to pick up the phone. When they did they would promise to send someone to the room and nobody would show up. We upgraded the room and we were supposed to have s bottle of champagne and some fruit send to our room. After 4 days of following up for the champagne we finally went to reception for the 3rd time and just picked it up. It was a cheap bottle of sparkling wine that didnt even taste good. It wasnt a horrible time but how horrible of a time can you really have in Jamaica? The food was not good. Not a lot of selection and a lot of missing items. We tried to order chicken wings almost everyday and they were out. Why even list it on the menu? The staff here are friendly and doing the best they can. In my view there are bigger issues with respect to management and the overall way the resort is run. I was here 3 years ago and this place was nothing like it is now. It's getting worse they need to maintain the rooms. There are cracks in the balconies its just run down.

I have visited the Palladium every ear since 2012. My husband since 2015. Each year it gets better. The staff at the Palladium is top notch. I would like to point out some people who I feel have stellar customer service. First, there is Ms. Movian Rowe. Movian is a most valuable asset to your organization. She makes our stay amazing. She remembers we come in the same time every year as we celebrate our wedding anniversary. She goes truly above and beyond our expectations. She decorated our room and the service we received was truly amazing. Movian informed us with all the visits we have made, our status is that of VIP. Movian is most professional, her kindness is outstanding. She guaranteed us a great stay. Next there is Ms. Taneisha Brown in the Negril dinig room, she remembered us from previous times and she made sure we were taken care of during our meal times. She delivered outstanding service with the most amazing smile. She remembered what we liked to drink for each meal breakfast and lunch. Keep delivering amazing quality service Taneisha Brown. Then there is Alexis Colqhoun in the travel club. Although, we aren't members she saw us in passing and still went out of her way to take care of us. Congrats on your upcoming addition to your family Alexis. Last but not least. There's Ms. Tamica Adams she kept our room serviced in the most timely manner. She is very professional and most respectful of our time. She didn't come to early and she definitely didn't come late. So, until next year Sweet Jamaica. I will see you again Grand Palladium. Thank you again. Hope to see everyone I mentioned next year this time.
