Amazing front desk
Jaxon M on Mar 23, 2024
The front desk really took care of us and made it feel like home. They helped us and our kids check in and were very friendly and we would definitely come back.thank you so much and happy to be in Orlando. Lorenzo helped us out and everyone was great!
Disgusting hotel. Staff is uneducated

Please don’t waste your money. Roaches everywhere. Staff seems to not care, hence the staff is the worst. You would think a roach hotel would try at least for customer service. They just lie and lie. IHG should be embarrassed of this place. Roach city!
Great Hotel and Staff

Staff was amazing and helpful. Room was clean and spacious. The woman at the front desk, Stephanie, checked me in and was very well versed in Orlando and was able to assist me with finding my next destination and pointing out food options that I could get to easily.
Worst experience with roaches and front desk
Roberto B on Mar 23, 2024
Completely disgusting hotel. Dirty and roaches everywhere. I’m surprised Holiday Inn even puts their name on this property. Front desk staff member Raven was beyond rude and quick. She was more worried about “getting a drink” with someone named Veronica than actual helping. Towels at pool were soaked wet and exercise room has a scent of pure disgust. All around bad experience.
Follow-up on original review
sfbrow on Mar 21, 2024
CURRENT STATUS I have yet to receive any further response from Holiday Inn. It seems apparent that their intention was to call into question the legitimacy of my original review, and hope that people will assume the complaint was false. At this point I do not anticipate any additional follow up from the hotel. There is, frankly very little they could say to explain away the issues I identified. The point, however is that I am not seeking any sort of financial restitution or other type of compensation from Holiday Inn. My only purpose in writing the original review was to warn potential customers of the hazards and issues to be expected in this facility. It is a large and extremely busy hotel; they can easily afford to ignore my concerns. Clearly, based upon their response to this point, that is their plan. Potential guests have a right to be forewarned. ORIGINAL REVIEW No question -- worst hotel experience I've ever had. We were consigned to the 'back' building of the facility; it is older, terribly maintained, and should be condemned. No lobby facilities or equipment of any sort in that back building; it seems to be a remnant of the Soviet era. Almost NO electrical outlets in the room, desk chair was broken and could easily injure someone who did not notice. Desk lamp was also broken and kept falling over. I stepped into the restroom in the lobby -- had to use a room key for access -- and was followed in by a hotel employee who apparently thought I was a threat or danger of some sort. Desk clerk was surly and demanding. There was an overall atmosphere that Holiday Inn was doing us a great favor by permitting us to stay with them. This will be my last stay in any Holiday Inn anywhere in the country. Used to be a great hotel chain -- things have clearly changed. Customers are now simply fodder to Holiday Inn. Tip: Stay ANYWHERE else. Sleep in your car if you must; you'll be far safer and far more comfortable. HOTEL’S RESPONSE I hope this message finds you well. Please provide information to luz@hicelebration.com Warm regards, The Front Office Team INFORMATION I PROVIDED You have requested more information regarding the review I provided on March 18th, 2024. My name is _______. My wife and I stayed in the Holiday Inn and Suites in Celebration, Florida on the evening of _________. My reservation was made through _________, and was in my name. The confirmation number was ________. I recognize that the response you provided on Tripadvisor was simply a boilerplate, and serves only to try and leave other readers with the impression that the hotel makes sincere efforts to address concerns. The generic responses regarding “…any inconvenience [I] may be experiencing…” and “…we will do everything within our power to rectify the situation and ensure that your stay with us is as enjoyable as possible.” are pointless. The trip is over, and the damage has been done. Nothing can be done to mitigate the many issues we faced in your hotel, although I would strongly recommend starting from scratch in training your front office and lobby staff, and locating an objective outside contractor to examine every room in the facility to recommend possible ways to make the rooms even marginally livable. My only purpose in writing the review was to warn potential customers of the serious hazards and inconveniences they will certainly encounter. Your purpose in responding, of course, is to try and indicate that you will address the concerns, thereby reducing or eliminating any potential loss of revenue. At one time, Holiday Inns were respected and highly regarded hotels throughout the country. If your facility is an example of the current status and condition of the brand, those days are clearly gone.
