This was my 2nd time staying at Pop. Room was clean and well stocked. I do drink a lot of coffee and called for more when I arrived. It was delivered in about 5 minutes. I did the pre room check in. I was in line for the Magical express and checked the My Disney Experience and noticed I had a room number. Never did get the text or email notification with my room number. Not a deal breaker, just glad I checked.

Just got home from staying at Pop Century Resort. The room itself was very small for my family of four. We had a queen bed and pull down double bed. I was pleasantly surprised to see the room was renovated and clean. Vey little space for luggage when the Murphy bed was pulled down. My daughter arrived first and had an issue with her luggage not getting to her room, and the staff was quite rude. The hotel layout is huge and expect to do a lot of walking, depending on where you are placed. Pool closed early, and could not late night swim after parks. A nice benefit was the new skyliner transportation which connected to Epcot ,riviera hotel, carribean beach hotel , and Hollywood studios nicely. However lines were really long at transportation center. Overall, you cantell it was a value hotel, but if you are not in the room a lot and have a smaller family may still be a viable option. Don’t think we will be staying there again. Not with teens.

I really enjoyed my time there! I mean I did spend most of my trip at the parks but the rooms were very nice! Beds were comfortable and easy to sleep in after a long day of walking through magic kingdom, LOL! It was really nice for a COVID vacation, masks were a bummer but we went with it. There was some trash on the ground here and there but the staff cleaned them up quick. My son did actually trip on someones cup and his knee was scraped. My other son has a weak stomach so when he saw the blood he threw up everywhere. My husband also has a weak stomach so he ran back to our room. Staff were really helpful and understanding and helped us out, my husband not so much, LOL!!! Lots of love from Linda!

Pop Century is a great choice if 1) you are traveling with a very small party (3 or less) 2) you are not concerned with "fancy" and 3) keep your expectations within reason. The resort is clean and offers fun pools. I read a lot of complaints about the food and transportation but in our experience we had zero issues with either of these things. As far as the rooms, they are newly renovated and maximize the space. Yes, they are definitely on the small size of the spectrum, but if you read the room descriptions you should know what you are getting. The one huge knock on the resort is the adjoining room noise. You can literally hear iPhone alarms going off in the room next to you and every toilet flush above you sounds like rushing water. We travel with a sound machine so it wasn't terrible, but keep that it mind. Overall, when you're paying for a value resort, it's tough to knock them too much. I would recommend for an affordable option.

We have stayed here several times. This time it was awful. The remodeled rooms look nice but do not function well. Disney has taken a room designed for full size beds and put in queen size beds. The second bed is a Murphy bed that doubles as a table when closed. First, the bed made a horrendous noise when opening or closing. Secondly the pillows for this bed are all stacked on the stationary bed. The blanket is very thin. The mattress was lumpy. The real problem with this setup is that when the bed is opened you have no table so the only place to sit is on the bed. If you are sitting on the Murphy bed with your back against the headboard you have to be a contortionist to reach anything on the bedside tables. There is very little room between the two beds. There is room under the bed to store luggage. The bathroom has shelving that is also great for storage. Disney has implemented several new procedures during this pandemic. The first is no daily Mouskeeping. We checked in on Saturday and did not receive clean towels or trash removal until Wednesday. Every day we had to play with the temperature in the room. It was always freezing cold. We even turned the the thing off and we still had cold air blowing from a vent near the ceiling. We decided to turn on the heat. At first it smelled like it was burning and then it started blowing cold air. We had already switched rooms after the first night because the bathroom fan would not shut off so we decided to learn to live with it but for the what we paid for what is essentially a glorified Motel 6 we should not have to wake up freezing every night. We requested a ground floor room and was given a third floor room. So don't even bother requesting anything. Also because of covid the dining area is restricted. You are required to mobile order using your phone and your data. You can not get your own drinks and you must enter one door and exit by another door all so you can stay 6 feet away from anyone else. The problem is there is always 20 or so people standing outside the entrance waiting for confirmation their food is ready for pick-up. No one is socially distanced. Even when there was no one around we were told that we must exit the gift shop to the outside of the building and walk around to reenter and go to the desk. The skyliner is nice but the lines are stupid long in the morning. When we were there this was the only transportation available to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. The other big issue for us was the Disney mask rules. Florida as a whole no longer requires masks. Disney does which is fine if the rules make sense, they do not.... You must wear a mask to the pool but once inside the pool gate you can remove it. I could literally spend the entire day at the pool with hundreds of people with no mask on but you have to have one to walk back to your room. You must wear a mask to the numerous tables outside but once you get there you can remove it. We had a table outside our room. Literally 5 feet from our door. I had to wear a mask to walk to this table but I could sit at the table maskless for hours with countless people walking within inches of me as long as I had a drink in front of me. Even if there were no covid restrictions I will more than likely never stay here again. With the bed situation there simply is not enough room for 3 adults.
