My wife and I stayed at Sapphire Falls the 2nd full week of January 2019. We have previously stayed at Royal Pacific and Portofino Bay (2 other properties at Universal) and planned to stay at Royal Pacific again however the pool at Royal Pacific was closed for renovations. The car entrance to Sapphire Falls is a little confusing as there is a round-about to navigate. The valet staff were very courteous and allowed us to drop off our luggage before I self-parked the car. The lobby area is very light and airy. We booked a king room overlooking the pool. The room was very clean and although not very large the space was well utilized. The bathroom has a barn door that separates the sink from the toilet and shower. We found the bed to be very comfortable and the room was very quiet. Every staff member we encountered was very polite and helpful. We didn't eat at the resort since there are so many wonderful options a short walk or boat ride away at Citywalk. This is a great place to stay,

First time at this hotel. We usually would stay at Portofino Bay, but it was full. Parking, check-in, and finding room was easy. We loved the pool area and bar. The boat ride to Universal was very convenient. Wish we could have taken advantage of the early admission, but couldnt get kids moving in time. The hotel and rooms were clean, offered plenty of dining and drinking options, and would definitely stay again.

This is an overdue review of the gorgeous Sapphire Falls, at which we had a pool vacation prior to the Daytona 500. I wanted to stay 3 days at a nice, relaxing, not too kiddie (in Orlando!) place before the craziness of the race. There are hundreds of nice hotels in Orlando, and I spent weeks researching. Search no further, Sapphire is THE place for a relaxing getaway with a breathtaking pool and top-notch service. The Property Sapphire Falls has a beautiful, modern, tropical ambiance. The hotel is big but manages to feel cozy. I liked the blue tropical carpet and crisp white decor. The pool and lagoon are centrally located, and there is a nice view from pretty much every window. We booked the base room and it was lovely. It had a couch, comfy bed, empty fridge, nice bathroom, couch and view of the lagoon. Being predominately a Universal Studios or convention hotel, the lovely amenities were blissfully empty during the day. In the evening you could see the hotel was pretty full, but most of the guests were elsewhere during the day, making it the perfect place to stay onsite and relax. One of the best features of the property was the water taxi to Universal Studios. It was included with the room rate, ran frequently, and was a fun ride to the Universal City Center for dinner. The Pool Sapphire Falls' pool is in the top three hotel pools in America for me! The pool is huge and sprawling, with an underwater bridge type feature down the middle. So you can walk across the pool in a only a few inches of water. Both sides of the bridge slope off to a zero entry banking into the deeper water. You can use the slope to read in the water as deep or shallow as you like. The pool has a big, perfectly heated hottub, placed perfectly adjacent to a fun water slide. Early or late in the day when it wasn't super warm yet, you could ride the slide, bop in the hottub to warm up, and repeat. The service at the pool was next level. As soon as I showed up, a staff member arrived and asked where I wanted to sit. He then found me a chair and brought towels and water. The drink staff came around as often as you'd need them, and would even spot me swimming in the pool and put my refill on the side of the pool for me. If I lived closer to Florida, I'd frequent this pool once a month! The Service Sapphire Falls had some of the nicest customer service we've ever experienced. Their staff made me want to try all the other Loews hotels in the country. Every single person we encountered, from valet to bellhop to front desk to pool servers, could not have been more friendly or accomodating. The Gym Sapphire Falls had one of the best equipped hotel gyms I've ever seen. It was a full health club, with all the cardio, weight machines, free weights, and functional training equipment you'd need. Everything was brand new, and there was tons of space. It even had a full service locker room if you wanted to work out before or after your check in. There were between zero and four other people in it the three mornings I used it. Sapphire Falls exceeded all my expectations, and set the bar for a well-appointed pool vacation.

We had a wonderful time at the Sapphire Hotel. The whole facility exceeded our expectations from the design of the lobby, the friendly service, and the room. The only area that needs improvement is the options for in room dining but the restaurants on property are wonderful.
