We came to the hotel on our honeymoon to be surprised with most of the hotel under construction. I don’t understand why they just didn’t close the whole resort. We were entitled to a room upgrade from our travel agent which they said they couldn’t give us because 400/500 rooms were closed for renovation. Our room was at the back, next to the street which played loud music until 4.30am. I didn’t sleep at all. Our fan light kept coming on every few ours, the spa bath took 1.5 hours to fill, it was just a horrible experience and really upsetting that it was our honeymoon. Don’t go.

It was our honeymoon and this place was so bad.

My wife and I am currently on our last night here. It’s the last night of our honeymoon which we have been to LA, New York and las Vegas. We got here and the place is currently having a major renovation done with 400 out of 500 rooms be done. We were told that we were going to get an upgrade but they said no. The room lights turned on during the night and woke us up. The spa bath takes 1.5 hours to fill and not even hot water. Worst of all the room we were put in is right next to the streets and has bars open till 3-4am in the morning and it’s very hard to sleep at. Many guests complain but nothing could be done. We asked to upgrade or be moved and they still said no. DO NOT STAY HERE. STAY ANYWHERE ELSE.

If you like to listen to saws and jack hammers while relaxing at the pool, then this is the place for you. Also, request to stay anywhere but building 4 unless you want to hear a (very loud) live band across the street until 4am! The staff is friendly and attentive, but the construction noise really ruins a relaxing vacation.

It’s so nice to see the resort entertainment is still lively and fun!! Emmanuel, Andres, Fernando, Victor, all of them were so fun. It’s definitely not easy getting in front of a crowd of people let alone trying to make them laugh or dance or even play games with strangers. They were above and beyond all weekend!! I wish I would have gotten videos or pictures of them but there’s a ton on the Facebook page!! ???? until next time friends

As I write am still at the hotel If you plan to take an excursions please please don't be fooled by those selling them on the street or at Walmart. It is a scam for Time share a fact they vehemently deny. Their prices are to good to be true so don't be fooled . They take you to their location before your tour where you forced to listen to sales pitch for 90 minutes. Your choices are .take a taxi back to your hotel or be tortured by experience sales people who will not take no for an answer. We almost got scammed after insisting we did not want to be grilled by sales agent at Walmart We nonetheless made a $20 deposit The day of the trip the guy came and offer to drive us to an area to pickup the bus tour . We smell a rat and told him to keep the $20 and vamos. Please please ignore them all on the street and don't entertain the conversation because they all a pack of lies You want a tour book with guides at the hotel
