    Comfortable and convenient return visit. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Dana. We selected the location for the convenience to the bay and kayaking. Things were a little different this time due to covid but service was still good. The only thing we weren’t totally pleased with was the restaurant service, but they are an independent entity.

    Have been coming here since the 1980's and never disapointed. The friendly staff at the front desk starts you off in a positive way. The rooms are always clean and well taken care of. I will keep coming back!

    Misleading online pictures. Dirty property and bay.

    Dirty property. Dirty bay where it is located. Unsafe location. Lack of proper security. Hotel staff are inexperienced and too young with no real adult on staff to handle anything properly. Most of the staff I saw walking around the property DOES NOT WEAR MASKS per Covid protocols. $25/night to park your car in an empty and dirty parking lot that any transient homeless person in the bay can easily walk onto and access your car/hotel room. Do not stay here. Again, misleading photos! Stay away.

    This hotel refuses to allow me to attend an event because I won't provide proof of vaccine or a negative covid test 24 hours before arrival. Stay away from any place that has no respect for HIPPA or health privacy.

    Met family for a weeklong stay in San Diego

    We have stayed at the Dana before. We were disappointed that the rooms were badly in need of updating. The rooms were not what you expect for the price. The grounds were beautiful The firefly restaurant was great and offered breakfast,lunch and dinner as well as a nice drink menu. There were two pools and the area was well kept. The rooms needed a lot of work
