    Stayed here in anticipation of a great stay, but was sadly disappointed and wholly underwhelmed. From initial interaction checking in, the tone was very off and didn’t set a great impression. My room to be fair was ok, but conversely my colleague who had the same room type (paid for anyway) wasn’t nearly the same - half the size and a bathroom that couldn’t swing a cat in! But most importantly (for me) we look at the comfort, it wasn’t there - the beds weren’t comfortable at all and there was a real strange feel in the corridors like you were visiting a grandparents residence.. The resort fee is a rip off, you don’t get anything that’ll benefit you significantly - it’s a con. The wine served at night isn’t tolerable and the coffee in the morning is mediocre at best. Despite bringing some concerns forward during the stay, there was little/ no engagement or response from front of house. I just didn’t have a great feel about this hotel, and was totally underwhelmed.

    We had meeting rooms in the Marker during JP Morgan in Jan 2020. The staff were very helpful and the meeting rooms were fine. Special shout out to Benjie Gaitos at reception who looked after shipping our stuff back to us. He even went back to the rooms and found a bag we had forgotten and shipped it too.

    The front desk staff (Ben & Daimler) greeted me with HUGE smiles after a long flight. They offered me a much needed quiet room and even upgraded me to a beautiful suite. Complimentary wine tasting was going on in the lobby with live music. My room was beautiful and very clean. After unpacking, I realized I forgot toothpaste. I went downstairs on my way to dinner and asked the front desk if they had any extras, they brought it to my room along with an extra toothbrush while I was gone (amazing!). Great location. Walkable to so many restaurants. Will definitely stay again.

    A Very Nice and Interesting Hotel

    This is a great Hotel just a few blocks away from Union Square and right next to the Theaters.The staff was very friendly and the offer a great coffee service in the morning and free happy hours from 5 to 6 every afternoon with live music. You will enjoy your stay.

    No hot water

    My room had no hot water to shower or shave. This is a basic requirement for every hotel and if you can't deliver here you deserve the lowest rating. My room wasn't the only one experiencing this problem as I asked a number of guests if they had problems with the hot water and a majority of them said yes, Either they had no hot water, or it took 10-15 minutes for the water to get warm, never got hot.
