Maintenance work on the Geary St. façade of the Handlery Union Square Hotel will begin mid-November 2023. The working hours will be from 8am to 5pm, Monday-Friday.
During this time, there will be scaffolding erected on the Geary St. façade. Guests will be placed in rooms away from the façade.
All efforts will be made to minimize impact to guests during this time.

The hotel was well maintained even though it was built in 1928. The staff were friendly at the registration and they had welcome drink served at the lobby. The cable car ride, Union Square, the Powell Station, eatery, and bars were around the corner.

Service is top notch. The whole team, from the front desk to housekeeping and parking were great, accommodating, and would address your concerns with a smile. Huge shout out to Ms. Joyce of the front desk for making sure that I have a great stay here and for going over and beyond my expectations! My bed was so comfortable that I looked forward to sleeping during my stay here. The hotel is also centrally located in downtown SF.
