While it’s true they have updated the beds/bedding little else has been updated at this run down older property. Right now we are listening to the AC kick on and off gurgling while we put towels on the floor to soak up the water. Well the 4 towels they give you in the room, not even a single hand towel to dry your hands with. The room is cool but damp and sticky from the AC unit. The food at both restaurants (Harry’s and Rum runners) is absolutely terrible. There’s nothing not mediocre about this hotel. If you’re desperate to stay at the beach I guess give this a whirl but if you want to feel like you’re in a clean, updated, modern room you might want to look elsewhere!

Had a good time there last weekend. It rained all weekend but the staff was very nice and helpful. Rosalyn helped me with my reservation and Kim checked me in and assisted me since I arrived early. Paul checked on us during our stay to make sure everything was okay and Jackie helped me settle a minor inconvenience at check out. Next time I hope the weather cooperates!

Nice resort, good amenities on site.

We stayed at Sirata during the end of August for 3 nights. This is definitely one of the best properties on St. Pete Beach and the Gulf! It’s updated and absolutely beautiful! You can see the ocean and sunset from the pool which is stunning. You can walk straight out to the beach, it is just perfect! The staff is AMAZING!! They are so pleasant, helpful and welcoming. I am a single momma of 5 beautiful kiddos ages ranging from 17-7, with twins being the youngest. All the kids loved the resort, we stayed at Tradewinds and we may have liked Sirata a bit better. The renovations is great! We were upgraded to a room that had bunk beds and the kids LOVED IT!! Very perfect trip here!! Thank you!

Checkout at 4:00 took one hour, standing in line with no directions or helpful staff. It took me 10 minutes to find a parking. Parking is a problem at this hotel. It is always full. They don't help you with requests. I booked an oceanfront view weeks ago, and I requested high floor. I got second floor on the front building. Of course, beautiful view, but the room has not been updated. I have stayed at the back building in a high floor, and those rooms are updated. Housekeeping and covid sanitation were bad. I had to remove the shower curtain myself and request a new one. It was moldy and dirty. It has not been changed in weeks. The tv didn't work either, we had to call twice to get it working. You pay an expensive resort fee which includes cabanas. We went earlier one morning, and of course we seat on the front row. 30 minutes later a staff member came to us to tell us if we were going to pay the $20 fee for front cabana. I told the staff member we paid a resort fee for the cabana. He told us the free cabanas are for second, thirs, forth, etc row. No for the first row. Then I had to move to the other rows because I refused to pay more more money on the day I was checking out. It was ridiculous and disappointing. Also, the cabanas close at 5:00 PM. Are you kidding me? Sunset was at 8:20 PM. Then i look at other hotels on the sides and they cabanas were open until sunset is over. It is ridiculous that you book an oceanfront hotel, so you can see the sunset, then you have to get out of your chairs and get on the sand because the staff has to go. I had stay several times at this property, and this one was the worst experience at all. It is overpriced. I used to love this property, but after this trip I would not come back.
