We're currently staying at this hotel and our experience so far hasn't been great. We booked early last year and the resort fee was $15 per night. Arrived yesterday to be told that it's now $40 per night. We mentioned that it was only $15 When we booked and were more or less told tough luck. This is the price. We were also charged an "incidentals fee " which we weren't anticipating. All in all it was $547 for a week's stay before we'd even got to our room. We're travelling as a family of 3 and were given 2 complimentary bottles of water upon check in and were told that We were entitled to 2 free beach beds. We pointed out that there was 3 of us and the receptionist shrugged her shoulders and said we could pay for an extra bed!! What exactly is the extra $40 a night paying for! Our room was basic but clean (We had requested a room with a balcony but we're given a motel style room overlooking the car park) Plenty of Americans staying who all seemed to have the best rooms?? Anyway they advertise free drinks from 6-6.30. Yet again my daughter was penalised as they don't offer soft drinks so had to pay for hers. All in all its left a sour taste in my mouth and I have no plans on returning here. Have submitted our complaints to hotel reception and am awaiting their response

I’m at Sirata for the FMA annual conference. I was greeted so happily for breakfast by Karen Davis, which really caught me off guard and brightened my day. Karen’s amazing service continued with helping bring water during presentations and any little thing we could ask for. Sirata is lucky to have an exemplary employee like Karen Davis making Raving Fans!!

location, on beach, 3 restaurants on property.

Would go back, but room 2131 were we stayed had water coming up thru the floor which made for a musty smell in the room when you 1st walked in. All staff helpful, did have to wait at front desk when we arrived only 1 person was working. Also they closed the pool (for adults only) and it was the one closer to our room that our boys went in and with a hot tub. Looking for a spot to go every year i would go back here buy would of asked to get a different room next time.

    Wow, super impressed!

My wife and I came to St Pete beach for a little staycation (we still live in Pinellas) and got a room at the hotel for a few days. Michelle waited on us and was AWESOME ??She was super funny and very attentive, which is crazy because she was BUSY! Anyways, good job to her and the whole restaurant, definitely coming back!

    Great Location!

Overall, this was a great stay!!! I wrote a very detailed review but it was 3722 characters and it can only be 1500 characters. I will try to cut it short. The Beach is beautiful! The grounds are beautiful! I had a beach front room, amazing view! The rooms and housekeeping need work. There were some stains on the bedding, the floor was sandy and you could see dust on all the table tops. Is that a deal breaker? No. The rest of the resort makes up for that. Hopefully Sirata will work on that. The food is great. The staff and bartenders are amazing! Special shout out to Holly (our server many times who always had a smile and never kept us waiting. She always took a minute to talk with us & make sure we were enjoying our stay) & Brandon (amazing bartender who always knew what we wanted to drink before we even asked). Once I had a lot of drinks to carry & he helped me carry them to the pool. You could tell he was well liked by everyone because everyone was saying hi to him & clapping because he helped me. There is no reason to leave this resort, it has everything you need. Beach umbrellas should be included with no additional costs for guests. It would be nice if the music played an additional hour every night. It is not very loud...just nice to listen to & 10:00pm is way too early to stop. It would also be nice if the fire pit was lit every night. It was so relaxing & we only got to enjoy it one night. Overall this is a fantastic resort! I would definitely go back!!!
