I came back to this hotel to celebrate a milestone anniversary. We were treated like rock stars and we're glad that we chose to go with Fairmont Gold service and a harbor view room. You barely need to go out for dinner, if you take advantage of the breakfast (around 7-10:30 am), afternoon tea (2-4 pm), hors d'oeuvres (5-7 pm), and sweets (8:30-10 pm). We received some surprised sent by the staff that made our stay absolutely magical. This is, without a doubt, the best hotel on the island. Splurge and enjoy yourself!

Upon arrival, you were greeted and redirected to the Fairmont Gold Check in instead of the regular check in for the hotel. The staff were very professional and apologized for the wait because another couple was checking in. The young lady that checked me in explained all the amenities Fairmont Gold had to offer. She was very informative and thorough with directions around the hotel. A map was supplied and a schedule was produced for the shuttle leaving the hotel. The shuttle would take you to the beach club located in Southampton. They so explained about the gym and spa facilities. Upon arriving at the gym, someone was happy to show you around to show the equipment. The gym was also 24hrs with your room key card. The room key was RFID touch and was very accurate with no problems. Never needed to insert anything into the door. The room was neat, tidy and clean. The continental breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening hors d'oeuvres were great and well thought out. The pools were kept clean and staff were always on hand to assist if needed. Crown & Anchor restaurant located in the loobby of the hotel is a must try. Food was good but this restaurant is not included in the Fairmont Gold and you would have to pay for everything you order here. Taxi are readily available waiting outside the hotel. They also have a mini rental car service on site, in the parking lot area. Security is also on site and availble. I would definitely recommend to try Fairmont Gold, its well worth it.

Bermuda is gorgeous. The sky, the water, the resort, the marina... this was my second time in Bermuda, and at The Hamilton Princess, and it was even better than the first. Lloyd at Marcus: when he realized that the bar was out of Gin Mare, my favourite gin, he personally went out to grab more stock and within an hour, I was happily drinking Gin Mare, again. Now that's service! Andrew, bartender at Marcus: very personable, entertaining and informative. Thanks to him, I now know that Goslings makes a batch of run specifically for the Hamilton Princess. More to my liking, and definitely more of a surprise, is that Patron, too, makes a batch of Añejo tequila, specifically for the Hamilton Princess. This was very much enjoyed neat. Catalin, server at Marcus: the type of professional you wish had at every restaurant. Olha, server 1609: more great, informative & professional service and a beautiful, open-air restaurant. Kya & Peterson, at the pool: on a beautifully hot day at the pool, is there anything more you can ask for than having your ice-cream delivered before it melts and drinks on a healthy rotation? I took the hotel shuttle to the beach club for the first time on this trip and am kicking myself I didn't go the beach club on my first visit. It was gorgeous and next time I will plan to stay for the bbq dinner at night. Sunday Brunch at Marcus - what a spread! And bottomless champagne. 'Nuf said? Honestly, I couldn't help myself and over-ate. Between the chicken & waffles, a taco station made-to-order, and everything else I ate... it's a can't-miss...thank you to the kitchen staff who prepared that. Marcus Restaurant Pro-tip... Try the Espresso martinis!!! Unreal. The BEST I've ever had. We couldn't sit down at a meal without at least ordering one round.

I attended the Hamilton Princess and Beach Club from July 31 - August 6, 2019 with my wife on our honeymoon. From beginning to end the trip was absolutely perfect. The resort, although it may seem quite small and lacks nightly entertainment, was absolutely beautiful. The infinity pool was our favourite spot, especially during the late afternoon and evening watching the ships/boats come in. The grounds itself were well maintained and at night it was nice having a drink, sitting by one of the outdoor fires. I would recommend bringing some kind of activities (cards, or other games) to occupy yourself at night as there is not much to do. We enjoyed just hanging in our room most nights having a couple drinks and watching tv. I would highly recommend doing the beach bbq. We did the Caribbean bbq and it did not disappoint. They offer a wide variety of food and end the night off with a DJ and a bonfire with s'mores supplied. We ate out most nights on front street (5-10 minute walk) as it was more affordable. We ate at the 1609 one night and was absolutely delicious. Although it was pricey it was definitely worth it. The staff here went well above and beyond our expections. Every employee we dealt with was extremely helpful, especially the front desk staff. We were a little worried about having to take a jitney to the beach but it was actually quite nice taking it through town and seeing the island. The beach was absolutely beautiful with so many activities including stand up paddle boards, kayaks, rafts (all free). The food by the beach was expensive however was enjoyable. Overall we had a great time and we would definitely come back. We both agreed 7 nights may have been too much here, 5 nights would be absolutely perfect.

I just came home from a stay at this hotel for 7 days with my bestie. What an experience. We are 2 retired nurses who decided to revisit Bermuda after 45 years. We stayed at the the Hamilton Princess. We wanted Princess treatment and were not disappointed. This hotel was way over expectations and we were treated 1st class all the way. The hotel was gorgeous and the people so very friendly and accommodating. We ate at the Crown and Anchor frequently and the manager and staff there were magnificent. Their beach club and private beach was heaven on earth. Their barbecue was a great experience and the water was calm and warm. It is a 20 minute ride by jitney and all the drivers were helpful especially getting in and out of the vehicle. Bermuda is very beautiful however a bit expensive but all your needs are are anticipated and even the locals are helpful and friendly. We made a promise to ourselves we will be back to enjoy this beautiful island and the people who live there.
