Resort has gone downhill look elsewhere

My wife and I have been to this resort 3 times, but after this last trip we will not be returning. The food has become uneatable, the service average, and the staff pestered us with add-ons the entire trip. They are trying to sell “inspira” as a membership and it’s like going to a timeshare scam. Too many better options to waste your time and money here. We ended up cutting our trip short.
Not off to the best start..

Just arrived. Emailed weeks in advance requesting a room on the 4th floor after reading reviews. We paid extra for an ocean view and this is the best that they could do. Apparently there is a wedding here and they get the good rooms. I'd like a destination wedding. This isn't the place if treatment isn't the same across the board.

10 year anniversary

My wife and I wanted to celebrate our anniversary and booked atelier through our travel agent. Atelier is located about 30 minutes from Cancún directly across from Isla Mujeres. The hotel it’s self is very clean. Atelier is beautifully modern and very well laid out. The beach is pretty and there are so many scenic places to take a photo. There are fun activities and they aren’t cheesy. The performers at night are very talented. They definitely took care of us, all of the staff are nice and very friendly. We also booked a wedding ceremony on the beach. Our liaison for the ceremony, Marcos Rodriguez was phenomenal!!!!! He was very calm, friendly and insured we had a meaningful and special celebration. I would recommend him every time! From the morning we woke up, mimosas and breakfast in the room, flowers decorating the bed, and a beautiful tropical bouquet/boutonnière. Marcos was sweet and we absolutely loved him. I can’t say enough good things about this place. There was so much to see and do. I also loved Isla Mujeres too! It’s a must see and do here. Atelier has good food, a laid back atmosphere and pretty surroundings. Any excursions book through the hotel are the best way to see mexico because atelier seems to have screened the options and only uses the best! Also you feel safe by the way they make sure you leave and come back. Highly recommend atelier, Marcos and a day trip to ISLA mujeres.
Best Vacation Ever!

I can't say enough great things about Atelier. We stayed over Easter weekend (April 2-7) and it was our first time to the resort. It has forever changed my experience of All-Inclusives. I'll start with the staff. We were made to feel at home the second we arrived. Every staff member was attentive, kind, welcoming and went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and relaxed. Specifically, a special shout out to Sigfrido (our vacation guide, who is the reason we upgraded to Inspira), Rafael (pool concierge, made our days at the pool as enjoyable as can be), Marco & Richie (entertainment at the pool), Erik and Daniel (El Suspiro) and Luis at Mercado 19. The staff alone deserves a 5 star review. The food and drinks were also incredible and better than I have ever had at an all-inclusive. There is something for just about everyone. We ate at a different restaurant each night, but our favorite was dinner at El Suspiro (Thanks Erik & Daniel). I recommend making your reservation the day you check in as it books up very quickly. We made ours on night one and still didn't get in until our second to last day. The coffee shop (Cafecito) and juice bar outside the gym are also incredible and places you can go and try something new each day. If you are looking to do activities outside of what's included in the resort, I suggest you look for Sigfrido. He provided us with all sorts of great ideas that we took him up on the day we visited Isla Mujeres. He's honest, provides genuine recommendations and will actually try to save you a couple bucks. If you like to play golf, I highly recommend you play a round or two. The course is beautiful. They even had a special dinner on the beach for Inspira guests one night which included probably 18 different rounds of food, a saxophone player while we ate, and a bonfire with beanbag chairs and a band on the beach. Probably our favorite night, and a couple members of management said they plan on continuing to throw these types of events for Inspira guests. All things said, we can't wait to go back. This will be a frequent destination for us and we look forward to our next trip! Thanks Atelier!
