It was our first time staying at Le Blanc, and it was also our first experience with Palace Hotels - WOW, it did not disappoint!!! Our vacation was incredible from start to finish. We’re so glad we chose Le Blanc, and we will definitely be back. I’ve broken my reviews into a few main sections that I hope other first timers will find helpful: ACCOMMODATIONS, RESORT, FOOD, and EXCURSIONS. Before diving into that, I want to shout out the people who made our stay at Le Blanc extra special. They went above and beyond in their service, and we appreciated them so much - they made the experience great! Thank you to: our awesome butlers Jose and Jesus, Jorge from the pool (so funny and always a smile), Alvaro from the pool bar (great drinks and he makes an effort to remember your name and drink favorites), and Isai and Ingrid from the restaurants in the hotel (so friendly, kind, and accommodating). I also want to mention Erika who was so incredible kind and wonderful from the moment we checked in until the day we left - she remembered things about us and always asked how our excursions were and how our vacation was going. She is too notch! ACCOMMODATIONS We stayed in a partial ocean view room on the 3rd floor, and it was beautiful! Super clean, beautiful view of the ocean and lagoon (sunsets!!), a very comfortable bed with lots of pillow options, and a large jacuzzi tub. The rooms aren’t that big, but it was the perfect size for us and we didn’t feel like we needed more room since we hardly spent any time inside. Our butlers Jose and Jesus were incredible, and they made our accommodations even better by giving us a lavender pillow, a chamomile pillow, and using the oil diffuser with our favorite essential oils. They ensured our room was always promptly cleaned after we left; they even packed and unpacked us (seriously awesome). We had fun talking to them, and we felt like they made an effort to get to know us and our preferences. They even prepared bubble baths for us in our jacuzzi on two occasions! RESORT Most importantly, the resort is absolutely stunning. There is a gorgeous view from the front door out to the “back” of the resort with the pool and ocean. So pretty!! From the moment you walk in, you are treated phenomenally: they handed us cold towels, a welcome drink, and an aromatherapy neck wrap while we checked in. Our room was immediately available, which was great. There are 3 pools: the main pool (our favorite, also the largest), the “lagoon” pool, and the terrace pool. There is also a small hot tub close to the beach below the main pool. The main pool was our favorite, and we spent all time at the resort there. It’s a large size and is kept impeccably clean. We didn’t like the lagoon pool - the lagoon water smells, so it has a bad smell at the pool when the wind blows from the lagoon. The one good thing about the lagoon pool was the churro stand - yum! We never used the terrace pool, but it looked nice. The resort spa was AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!! We did the free hydrotherapy that’s included with your stay - definitely recommend it. We also used our resort credits toward an 80 minute therapeutic massage, which was sooooo good. One thing to be aware of is that the resort credits come with some stipulations, like a 16% tax charged for each use. This didn’t bother us, but definitely makes it feel a little “scammy” (although we do understand they need to make money on these things they’re offering). As a first timer, this is just something to be aware of before you go because it’s a little annoying. There are other rules the hotel will explain to you, like how much credit can be used on different types of things. FOOD Our favorite food was at Bella; it was truly delicious Italian food and amazing service. THANK YOU to the people there! Our least favorite restaurants were Lumiere and Yama. Lumiere felt like it was “trying too hard” to have innovative and unique food, but the taste didn’t live up to the innovation. It was our worst meal in terms of taste/food enjoyment. Yama’s good is amazing, but it was incredibly slow both times we went (nearly 2.5 hours the first time, and almost 2 hours the second time). It was pretty annoying, but the food was good.... Blanc was awesome for breakfast/lunch, and we loved the lunch and dinner options at Terraza (especially the delicious pizza). 24/7 room service was another plus at Le Blanc. Ice cream at Glacé by the main pool was good. We wanted smoothies by the lagoon pool, but the server never came (we waited for approx 5 mins and nobody showed up despite it being open). The churro stand by the lagoon pool was yummy, though. EXCURSIONS We booked two excursions through Le Blanc vacation planners: AquaWorld Jungle Tour (boat ride, snorkeling + Aqua Twister) and the Private Jeep Chichinitza, Cenote, and Villodad Tour.

We where at this resort before the remodel. Went this past week and the remodel was not as impressive as we would have thought. More of a face lift with a few added amenities. Added a coffee shop (much needed), ice cream bar and updates to the menus. Few hour changes to the restaurants. Rooms for the most part remained the same...just face lift and refreshed. Place was incredibly clean. We had great service from Christian Reyes at the Asian restaurant Yama. Attention to detail, offerings and knowledge of the menu was perfect. Laura at the pool bar ocean side, was very attentive to our every need. Carlos at the Lagoon pool, was awesome in his drink making and recommendations. Roger, our diamond concierge, was spot on with all our requests. Overall...relaxing and at times fun...we enjoyed the resort.

We celebrated our anniversary and my wife’s birthday during our stay and the staff went way beyond our expectations—a honeymoon suite, rose petals on our tables at the restaurants, special dinners, balloons and a chocolate tree and a chocolate piñata in our room. The staff was wonderful, and particularly noteworthy were: Lumiere staff members, manager Omar Acevedo, hostess Alejandra and waiters Alex, Azael and Roy; Terraza staff members Menalio, Alberto, Rosa, Veridiana, Ricardo and Carlos; Bella staff members Manuel and René; and the outstanding Diamond staff members, Ana and Hernan. In summary, we had a wonderful vacation at the elegant le Blanc Spa Resort and will return there many times in the coming years.

    It was good.

Not excellent but good. This is my second time going here in 8 months and it has improved since then but it just can’t seem to catch up to the excellence of the Cabo location which we visited last year. The rooms are clean and so is the whole resort but the food really leaves a lot to be desired. The breakfast was so repetitive and redundant because it was the same exact thing being served everyday , I could close my eyes and pick out the food by the third day. I had a terrible case of food poisoning from the Asian restaurant and I suspect that it was the duck dish which was not served at the right temperature like most of the food. The staff was very helpful and the spa was excellent. I had the best facial treatment I’ve ever had. I will probably just stick to the Cabo location from now on but I might go back to Cancun only for the convenience .

We just arrived and upgraded our room to the governors suite. We’ve been here for 3 hours and the AC won’t cool down in our room . Whole hotel is having this problem apparently. The coldest it will fat is 78 degrees.
