The service was excellent from the start to the very end. The employees were extremely friendly, helpful, and diligent. The hotel was a dream. The food was nice. They met all my expectations and fulfilled all my requests. I would definitely go back!

There are a lot of 5 star reviews and videos praising the Le Blanc's food, service, and amenities. I partially relied on them before deciding to book my trip to the Le Blanc. What a mistake! After visiting Le Blanc for 6 days, actually 5 because we left early I can tell you, don't believe the hype. My first review was flagged and removed because I included “second hand information.” I have made the recommended changes and here is my updated review. It’s a bit long but worth the time if you want to know the truth about my visit to the Le Blanc. FOOD: I will start off with my biggest disappointment, the food. On our first day, shortly after checking in, we attempted to reserve a table for dinner at the onsite "bistro." We couldn't get a reservation until 9pm. We decided to make reservations for every night of our 6 night stay and weren't able to make reservations at any of the onsite restaurants until after 9pm every night. Guess we should have sat through the timeshare sales pitch/trap. There are also no take-out orders from any of the onsite restaurants. So, if you can't make reservations or miss your reservation you are stuck with the room service menu. That's a whole other story in itself. But first, the restaurants... Terrazza (Bistro?) - I ordered the "chicken" and ate an overcooked drumstick with instant mashed potatoes. Yama (Sushi)- I love to eat sushi but I wasn't prepared for incredibly fishy smelling sashimi that, in my opinion was not fresh at all. Regardless, I pressed forward and ate my selection anyway. I believe this was the source of debilitating stomach issues that took me out for a day and had lasting effects on my digestion throughout my visit. Lumiere (French)- I don't eat much French food but this was actually the best food I ate at the Le Blanc. The only problem is our reservations were so late we didn't finish eating until midnight! On top of that my girlfriend started feeling ill mid meal and had to go lay down. I was not allowed to take the rest of the food they prepared for her back to the room. Ridiculous. Oh, the cause of my girlfriend's illness is still a mystery but if a night of throwing up and other stomach issues are any indication, I assume it had something to do with what she ate or drank during our stay. Blanc (Breakfast and Lunch) Buffet- No reservations are required to eat breakfast or lunch here. Since runny eggs, bacon that tastes as if it was lathered in canola oil, and odd creations of mystery meat surprises are not my thing, I stuck with the toasted bagel and some fruit for breakfast. More mystery meat creations hidden behind bland sauces and garnishes awaited me for lunch. I chose to stick with some of the lunch meat. One day, they put out some delicious carnitas that tasted great on warm tortillas. Bravo to whomever made the carnitas! But honestly, I have eaten better mexican food at the airport in Detroit. When I asked the staff about offsite restaurant options, they suggested other restaurants within the hotel group. I asked about a specific mexican restaurant down the road from the hotel. The friendly attendant offered to look at the menu and said she would get back to me which she never did. Read on for comments about going offsite from this hotel. I do not recommend doing this. Room service food..... Oh man! Nothing, I mean nothing I have ever tasted or eaten amounted to how horrible this food was. -Hanger steak and hanger steak tacos- overcooked, and bland tasting mystery meat. Barely edible. -Hamburger?- Presented well with the Brioche bun but I spit out the first bite. The taste is indescribable. I had to take a look inside. I found three leaves of baby spinich, cheese with possibly caramelized onion topped the thick portion of ground mystery meat. It just tasted BAD! The side of fries weren't bad but they were cold. -Lasagne- This tasted like a re-hydrated backpacking meal that hadn't been properly re-hydrated. Oh, it was also cold in the middle. -"Crispy" Burrito- Burnt black and cold. Not edible. The burrito contained a white meat and a brown meat or what looked like meat (see photo) - Hot dog- The first one I ordered was decent (Costco hot dogs are better). The second one I ordered was cold and the bun was stale and falling apart. THE ROOM: Cancun was humid while we were there. It may be humid there all the time. I don't know. Keep that in mind if you decide to draw a bath in the tub. The marble floor got so wet from moisture in the air that I nearly slipped and fell three times. The room also permeated a sickeningly sweet odor at times. Especially in the closet. The bed was very soft and didn't agree with my back. Music started up outside our balcony at 7am. Expect cleaning staff to start early. If you aren't an early riser make sure you activate the "do not disturb" notification and shut off your phone. It wasn't until our last day that I noticed particularly disturbing signs of mold showing through the white paint on the walls and ceiling. A lot of it. Perhaps that was the source of the strange odor? Is that what the paint roller and extension pole on all the maintenance carts is for? STAFF: For the most part the staff was very friendly and respectful. I saw many instances that guests were allowed to walk freely inside indoors without wearing a mask. Mask regulations should be enforced especially indoors! Be prepared to say no to up selling and timeshare sales pitches. Expect 2-3 phone calls daily requesting your presence at their timeshare sales pitches. Their goal is to sell you a timeshare at their property. If that's your thing, go for it. If it isn't, be prepared to be treated differently than those who agree to sit through the sales pitch. Service overall was hit and miss. Ask for room towels and soap, get a hand towel. Ask for soap again, you don't get soap. Ask for 6 Corona beers, get 6 Negro Modelos and the list continues... THINGS TO DO ONSITE: -Stand in a pool bar all day and drink. -Sit on a beach all day and drink. -Visit the night club onsite with one pool table. It closed at 12:30am when I was there. -Watch a lipsync stage show -Spend a lot of money in the spa. -Play beach volleyball. -Play ping pong. -Watch TV -Drink in the bar. -Or have a candelight dinner on the beach for two at the amount of $520 USD! LEAVING THE PROPERTY: I would not recommend leaving the property. On Monday April 19th, I walked downtown to buy a hat. Be careful downtown. I got very good at saying “no” to high pressure sales of jet ski rides, fishing trips, t-shirts, etc… I got thirsty and bought two beers at a local bar. When I got the check, I was surprised to find out two beers cost $20 USD! WOW. I noticed quite a bit of law enforcement activity while I was walking around outside the resort related to a bomb threat nearby. To top off my trip, I had to see my doctor after returning home. The gastrointestinal issues that developed after consuming sushi at the Le Blanc had not resolved on its own. I am currently taking antibiotics to resolve the issue. BEWARE of the food at the Le Blanc! To sum it up, the Le Blanc isn't as polished and 5 star as it's advertised. I highly recommend anyone wanting to visit this resort take a closer look and know what they are getting into. Hope this helps some of you!

Le Blanc is my go to resort when I want to relax and recharge. It’s on the beach which is awesome. The facility and its amenities is without equal. The food is delicious. The staff is kind and courteous. They go out of their way to make your stay remarkable. If you want the best, go with Le Blanc Spa Resort Cancun. It might be a bit more expensive than others, but it’s worth it. A+++++

    Just Book it!

We just returned from a 5 night stay at Le Blanc and we wish we had stayed longer! This is by far the best all inclusive we have stayed at. There is a strong focus on wellness, relaxation, and wonderful service. Room- we booked a lagoon view on the 7th floor. Definitely get a high floor if you go lagoon view route. Room was great and view overlooked the entire bay. Butlers Luis and Francisco were the best and were able to help us with anything we needed. Bubble baths, champagne, packing and unpacking, you name it! Cleaning was performed twice daily in morning and for turn down service. Drinks- top shelf liquor served at all bars, Grey goose and don julio repasado were our drinks of choice-just make sure you ask for it! Lobby bar had the best bartenders while we were there. Included wine list is not great but prices to upgrade wine are reasonable. Food Pool/beach- Guacamole, shrimp tacos, boneless wings, and you can order pizzas from Terraza it just takes a little longer Terraza-beautiful view for breakfast, wonderful pizzas at lunch Yama- great sashimi, nigiri, and sushi. We eat a lot of sushi and this was actually good for an all inclusive! Also get the ishiyaki hot stone wagyu, fun and delicious! Bella- cacio e Pepe rigatoni, carpaccio, and semifredo were our favorites! Lumiere- okay, food didn’t live up to the hype for us but the service is wonderful and the brioche may be the best bread I’ve ever had Blanc-good Mexican tacos and starters for dinner, breakfast and lunch buffet style Pool-definitely get down there early to get a good chair, even at 7am a lot of the chairs facing the ocean and pool were already taken. Sarahi made everyday at the pool relaxing and provided incredible service! Beach-great beach to swim, service was not as good as the pool but you can have drinks and food brought to you/there is a beach bar Spa- do the complimentary hydrotherapy as often as you can. It was amazing! Ana was the best! Gym-awesome gym with great machines and fun workout classes, Pilates reformer, Trx, paddle board yoga Pro tips: Make all dinner reservations as soon as you get to the property Make hydrotherapy appts ASAP as well Get down to pool early to reserve a chair Order pizza from Terraza poolside Request better liquors that are not displayed-Grey goose, don julio, etc People Sarahi-pool Luis-pool Ana-spa Luis-butler 7th Francisco-butler 7th Miguel-yama Daniel-lumiere Erick-special dinner service Octavio-organized special event Carlos-pool chairs/waters/set up Alejandro-lobby bar We had a wonderful stay and will be coming back ASAP! Left feeling relaxed and pampered!

30th Anniversary Celebration in Paradise We could not imagine celebrating an occasion as important as our 30th anniversary anywhere else than with our friends at Le Blanc Cancun. From the ride to LBC until the return back to the airport, we feel at home. After Roberto greets us at the door with that refreshing scented towel and we see Ingrid and Roger, we immediately feel at home again. From that moment on, every wish and need is fulfilled. We are spoiled. Soon we see Laura and Lucinda welcoming us to the pool and the relaxation continues. There is no harder working woman on Earth than Laura! And Lucinda’s sweet demeanor makes us feel like close friends. Jair took great care of us at the beach cabanas. Every day we look forward to the fun with Romina. We can’t wait to see her and find out what the activities are for the day. Although volleyball isn’t our thing, she’s sure to bring the cards around for a little BlackJack just with us. She’s always so tickled at our antics and has the most infectious laugh, we just can’t help but have fun with her. We liked the mariachis by the pool a couple of days. We think that’s a fun addition, yet not overly disruptive of the relaxed ambiance that we so love about Le Blanc. We enjoy all of the restaurants, but especially Lumiere and Bella. We appreciate Chef Rene’s diligent daily visits to discuss our dinner plans and if we want anything special. Off-the-menu doesn’t have to be. Le Blanc strives to please. We have to mention all of the staff that helped to make our dinners fabulous. At Bella; Chef Enrique. Hostess Sarah. At Lumiere, we especially love servers Carlos, Daniel and Edgar and Osvaldo. Thank goodness, Fabien is always on hand to serve us the perfect wine. We enjoyed breakfast with a view every morning at Terraza. We looked forward to Vanessa’s “buenas Dias” each morning. The breakfast menu is full of such delights we wanted to try them all. We always started sharing the fruit platter. My favorite is the Truffled Eggs! Then the huevos rancheros, the chilaquiles with eggs... Oh my! We also enjoyed dinner there a couple of nights. French Onion Soup!!! Esmeralda, the manager is delightful and personable and friendly. Her delight in pleasing guests, especially for special occasions, is evident. Diamond Concierge; Roger and Chef Rene and Chef Luis and Esmeralda planned the most beautiful anniversary dinner for us at Terraza. It was glorious and expertly served by Chef Luis and Bryan. Even though we didn’t eat much at Blanc, Viridiana certainly showed the love by a thoughtful sign and table decorations which she brought to us at the pool. Juan Carlos served the especially prepared paella (requested by my husband from Chef Rene) for our anniversary lunch. We always enjoy seeing Said and Issac managing food and beverage. Mustn’t forget Ofrei and Billyjoel (sp) and Víctor Hugo for their mixology skills. Can’t forget the salon...Patricia and Karina are truly expert in dealing with my difficult nails for my mani/pedis. Delightful! Thank you Janaii and Leslie for managing a truly paradise escape. I’ve told others, Le Blanc is as close to perfect as any place I’ve ever been. We look forward to celebrating our already planned 31st anniversary with you (however I’m certain we’ll return before then).
