Great location. Average hotel. Check-in doesn't allow you to get to the room a minute earlier, than 3 pm unless you pay an extra $50. It looks like extortion. I've never seen it in other hotels. On the day of check-out, I asked the front desk clerk to allow us to stay later and pay $50, but she told me that they don't allow it at all. So why did they request to pay it when we checked in? There is no buffet option for breakfast, only a la carte, so it's extremely expensive for nothing special. Omlet and coffee are almost $30 per person. Rental chairs and an umbrella on the hotel's private beach cost $60 per day for 2 people. Next door hotel charges $30 for the same service. Corporate greed! 3 stars hotel has to come down with the prices and appaling check-in policy.

This is my 15th year coming the Ocean Sky Hotel on an annual golf trip. The hotel staff is great starting with Manny at the valet who always greets you with a "hello buddy" and a smile. The hotel staff is run by general manager Bruce who is always making sure your stay is top notch. The hotel is clean and all the bathrooms were recently updated. The A/C works great too! Being right on the ocean you have choice of the pool, jacuzzi or ocean and a Tikki bar at the pool area. The hotel is within walking distance or a quick Uber ride to tons of restaurants.

We’ve stayed here before, and will stay again if in the area. Parking is $20 a day, but the valet employees are wonderful! All hotel staff were great. Rooms are a bit dated, but they are clean. We were surprised that cleaning staff came in while we were at the beach. They were courteous and folded our items and set them aside nicely to do their work. Beach front access, heated pool, and a great elevator within the hotel that takes you down to the pool/beach area. The partial ocean views are fabulous; although, this time we couldn’t hear the waves from our balcony due to the AC units running. The pool isn’t big, but it is heated!

    Absolutely Disgusting Tourist Trap

This hotel is 1) not a resort, 2) filthy - a roach bait trap was found in the room under the beds and dresser, 3) not family friendly, and 4) does not have hi-speed internet. There are plenty of staff to sell you jet ski and scooter rentals, but no lifeguard available at all. When I asked why there was a sign on the window A/C units which told guests to not cut offthe unit and to not have the temperature set above 72, I was told that if the unit was cut off, mold will grow overnight on the walls. Furthermore, you will be required to wear plastic wristband for the duration of your stay to confirm that you are a guest at this roach hotel. On-site security on the premises will constantly ask to see your arm band. If you want to pay a princely sum for a filthy tourist trap in an area that requires high security, but treats guests like cattle by tagging them with a wristband, then I would recommend this place.
