    The hotel was busy but the folks at reception were helpful, polite and courteous. The hotel was kept incredibly clean and well maintained; the housekeeping staff was wonderful. Getting to the beach which was extremely convenient via a walkway over the boulevard. As a guest of The Westin, you get two free beach chairs; $25 extra if you'd like an umbrella. Note: If you need towels, secure by the pool before heading to the beach. Dining: Lona - Excellent. Ate at the bar had fish tacos one day, a salad another and their margaritas are terrific. Bobby the bartender is a wonderful host. Never steered me wrong with suggestions. Waves Bar & Grill - At the pool and exceeded expectations. The salmon on the tacos was cooked PERFECTLY. Not overcooked. Moist and tasty. Margaritas aren't as good as they are at Lona. Tinta - Meh. It wasn't awful but wanted better. Walked by the ocean in the morning and went elsewhere for breakfast. Spa: The spa itself is a bit average but service from reception, the spa manager and massage therapist was spectacular. Highly recommend Ivonne. I enjoyed my massage so much the first day, I went back the next day for another with her. Fantastic! Rooms: I had a room overlooking the ocean. It was lovely. I wish I had a balcony but didn't miss having one that much. The room was clean, serviced every day and I didn't want for anything. Overall: Wonderful experience and would stay there again. Next time with my husband :)

    This is a nice hotel situated right on Fort Lauderdale Beach. I was impressed by the front desk staff. Workers were helpful and allowed me to check in early. The room included two beds and had a canal and beach view. It was well stocked. The bathtub was a little gross. Probably old. When it filled up, the water looked yellow. Or dirty. The pool area is great. There’s an easy walk over the road to get to the beach where chairs and umbrellas are available. I was disappointed with the pool wait staff. A waitress brought me a menu as I intended to order food poolside. She never returned. Management could certainly teach the staff a thing or two about prompt service. I also think the daily amenities charge is outrageous. It’s ridiculous hotels in South Florida charge customers and additional fee. For this hotel, it’s $39.

    Spacious and nice rooms, great location, service and food quality convenient/good. Walking distance to malls, beach with easy access across the road Attended a conference, suitable place for that. 30min from airport, both uber and Lyft easily available both directions. Extra loyalty points for eco-choise in room cleaning!

    We stayed at the Westin for 3 nights. It was a great hotel - it had a nice location (right by the beach), there are shops near by and the staff seemed friendly enough. We enjoyed the free moring yoga by the pool The bathroom was a little weird - it had like shutter material for the door and "window" to the rest of the room, thus, it felt a bit less private than I am used to. And the shutters seemed to collect alot of dust. We also had an issue with the iron - it didn't work. It took a few calls and a stop by the desk to get a new one. All in all the issues were small but figured it was worth mentioning.

    The hotel is fine. The staff was okay. The problem: the underhanded way guests are charged fees, extra fees and double fees. Then the aloofness the desk staff has in ridiculously either claiming the bills are correct, sometimes reducing half of the overcharge and/or telling guests to call adminstration. They are running a scam whenever they can.
