To be fair, this is like 3.5 stars for me. First - the above average parts. The service was consistently good - especially transport from the airport and check-in. We paid for the round trip transfer and it was worth the expense. Hyatt has a lounge right at the airport where they started the check in process and was a spot to relax before our shuttle to the hotel was ready. But we barely waited before heading to the hotel. We were just over an hour from walking off the plane to being in our room. We had an equally expeditious experience on the return. Additionally, the staff was consistently helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The just ok parts. The beach - rather small, chairs on top of each other. Pretty rocky entrance into the water. The pool - very well maintained, plenty of chairs. But if you want a chair close to the pool - plan on being up by 8-8:30 to reserve a spot. There’s also constant loud music and entertainment over the loud speaker after 11am. Great if that’s your scene. Not so great if you are looking for a quieter experience. And on saturdays they try to be a Miami pool club scene with a very loud DJ and bubble party at the pool. The spa - the facilities are nice. Not the greatest I’ve ever been to but decent. The massage itself was above average. The only issue was that we scheduled massages for the time of the Saturday pool party so the overly loud sound of the dj bass over powered the relaxing spa music. It was rather distracting at times. Also not a big fan of the hard sell on products at the end. Food & Drink - I don’t have very high expectations of all inclusive food and this resort pretty much was what I expected. It was fine. They offered a very solid buffet breakfast. The Asian and Italian restaurants were good. I wasn’t a huge fan of the Caribbean or Jamaican restaurants but they were fine. We heard a lot of people saying the French option was good but we did not try it. Overall, I thought this was a good but not great resort and pretty standard fare for all inclusives. It’s definitely not the quietest option if you are looking for a relaxing getaway either.

    Fantastic Vacation!

We stayed on the Zilara side. The rooms were spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. The facility was beautiful. However, the shining star of this resort were the staff. Everybody we came in contact with was polite and helpful. You could feel the joy and kindness radiating from everyone. We had only one teeny tiny issue... we had a large group (12 people) who wanted to eat together. The restaurants (in which we made prior reservations) required us to eat from an abbreviated menu or separate into smaller groups. If we had we known this, we would have eaten earlier (when it was convenient to us) in smaller groups. In this case, the staff refused to accommodate us. Even after we offered to order in smaller groups while sitting at the same table. They were adamant on serving us from the smaller menu or separating the group.

This is the best all inclusive we have ever been to. The level of service is excellent, drinks were great and food was top notch. The only criticism I have about the food is the dinner entree portions are pretty small, but you are permitted to order two entrees. We thoroughly enjoyed our time relaxing on the beach and partying at the pool bar. Big shout outs to Morty and Sam at the pool bar who were amazing throughout our time there. We will definitely be back!

    Beautiful property and excellent staff!

The Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall is a gorgeous property that is very well taken care of! The beach, pool, rooms, and all amenities are excellent. But definitely the best part of this resort is the amazing pool/beach staff! The bartenders, lifeguards, wait staff, and Z crew are awesome! I can't say enough good things about them! If you go, make sure to hang out by the adult pool and get to know Tafari, Barrington, Junior, and all the Z Crew!
