    I decided to book a last minute trip to Disneyland for my family of four and since it was a last minute trip, our normal go to South Harbor Blvd hotels were either booked solid or at a peak rate. I decided to book the Grand Legacy at the Park based on previous reviews and they also offered an AP room rate(Sweet!). Check in during the midday was relatively smooth, the staff was professional and friendly and we were able to get checked in to our room immediately. Our room size and set up is comparable to the Marriott Fairfield Inn, but instead of a desk along the wall, there was round table closer to the door. The overall appearance and cleanliness of the room and bathroom met expectations. Nothing nasty or terrible to report(a Plus). A cool amenity the rooms have that you don't get much in hotel rooms are a larger fridge and microwave. Shower water pressure was good too. The pool area looked really nice, which I'm sure my kids will frequent the next time we come around. This hotel's location is a rough 5-6 minutes walk to the South Harbor security check point. Wait time to get through that check point depending on the time of day can be 30-40 minutes. If you can, try to get through before rope drop. We didn't get to experience the roof top lounge. My only negative take away from this hotel as its probably just a case to case basis, is that the guests directly above our first floor room were constantly on the move and it sounded like there was party running constantly. Overall, this is a very good hotel with just the right amount amenities you'd need for a Disneyland trip. I'd come here again.

    Great location but dated accommodation needing a refurbishment

    We stayed in a twin double bedded room on the ground floor with our 10 year old son as we were spending 4 days at Disneyland. I chose the hotel for the location across the road from the park entrance & the price was quite reasonable for the area. Room was smaller than I expected & was just comfy for the 3 of us. The double beds were not that comfy & too small for us to enjoy a good nights rest but that was what we’d booked. The housekeeping was inconsistent but when I rang reception they were more than happy to accommodate our requests. I used the laundry which was $2 each for the washer & dryer (very convenient). Each morning you can get a breakfast bag which included a bottle of water, apple, cheese & crackers & muesli bar. There are plenty of diners you can get American style breakfast from within walking distance but we chose to bring our own cereal & milk to eat in our room before heading to Disneyland. There is a fridge & microwave in the rooms. Overall a good stay & loved our time at both Disneyland parks.

    Surprise Birthday Vacation

    After a last minute decision I surprised my daughter with a trip to Disneyland for her birthday. I contacted a travel agent and they reserved a room for my daughter and I at the Grand Legacy at the Park. The hotel is just a 5 minute walk from Disneyland and there are several restaurant within 2 minutes. We arrived at 9:30 am and much to our delight we were able to check into our room and purchased our park tickets and this allowed us to unpack, change and head straight for the park. When we arrived at the Grande Legacy we were met with smiling cordial staff who were very friendly and inviting. The room was very clean and had a microwave and small fridge and there was plenty of room to move around in. They also provide a bagged snack every day to date with us to the park, which was a great extra. In the Evenings if you are tired but want to see the fireworks every room is able to see them from the hotel. One the day we arrived after spending the day at Disneyland, we returned to our room and much to our surprise the staff had left a birthday present for my daughter on the desk. They went over and above to make my daughter feel so loved. It was like the cherry on top of the cake. We are so grateful to all of the staff at the Grande Legacy for making our experience one of joy and love. A special thank you to Brenda and Daisy. If you are going to be in Anaheim and going to Disneyland, I would strongly consider staying at the Grande legacy at the Park.

    Excellent Hotel to stay at. Rooms are great and the staff is even better. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. I even managed to goof up my reservation and they worked very quickly to help me fix it...thank you Byron for your help, as well as for your staff’s help.

    The Grand legacy was average, booked a last minute stay through Alaska and picked this hotel based on reviews. Was slightly disappointed wanted to stay here based on how clean the previous reviews were. While the room was clean it wasn’t my standard of being extremely clean. The hotels and sheets were cheap but again for the price and distance to the park a five minute wait this was fine. The hotel provides a grab and go bag which was great. A few negatives our hand towels were never replenished for the stay nor was toilet paper. Maid service did not clean our room until 5 pm one day. Would I stay here again yes for the right rate if you want something fancy and quite do not stay here. This hotel worked for what we needed for a last minute trip but I don’t think I would stay here again unless I got an amazing rate.
