We stayed here Aug 31-Sept 5 during hurricane Dorian. We really did feel like this was the safest place to be as they had all kinds of safety measures in place and a Hurricane Ride Out Team in place to take care of us should anything happen. They had signs updating us on any changes in schedules etc. And there were several people with their dogs who had escaped the coast for what they called a "hurrcation". In the end we were spared any really bad weather but it was business as usual even with the looming weather. We had some of the best customer service experiences on this trip with our airline " misplacing" our luggage. The manager at Bell services (your name starts with an N)she went above and beyond to help us on the phone and to get the process moving along and locate our luggage she then referred us to the Duty manager Sonia/Brandon who followed up with us to make sure we were taken care of while we waited for the luggage to be located and delivered and I also have to mention Breana (with clear frame glasses) at check in desk who was also so kind and helpful despite being under the weather herself. This really made our experience so wonderful amidst the stress around us. We should also mention the updated rooms were clean and inviting as well as the grounds. We will be returning here in winter as our children enjoy the all stars over moderates due to theming. We will pick movies as this has been the best service we have received though we hope it won't be over lost luggage the next time. Great value for the money.

My sister and I stayed 5 nights for a nostalgic week at Disney World. Just us with no kids. Everything was great and our expectations of a value stay were exceeded. We saved $40 by electing no maid service, and that worked fine (you can call for extra towels if needed). All staff were great. An unexpected benefit was the airline check-in / baggage delivered to airline upon departure. All transportation services were excellent. Don’t count on good food at the food court but coffee and soft drinks are available early and late.

After staying at the Grand on previous trip I was nervous to try a value resort. However, we were very pleasantly surprised. We stayed in the Dalmatians renovated Preferred rooms on the second floor. Our room was clean and had plenty of space for the two of us. My husband left his suitcase on the table and I unpacked and slid my suitcase under the bed. I really liked all the cubbies in the sink area and the shower area was very clean with lots of hooks and bars for towels. My husband met me from another Orlando area conference hotel after meetings so I rented a car for us. $13/day for parking was fine for us and included parking at the parks (I think) and other resorts. It was worth the convenience of not messing with busses and schedules, etc. On our last day we went to the food court for breakfast and relaxed by the pool. The food is the same you would pay $55 pp at a character breakfast except it’s $11 so definitely a good value for Mickey waffles, sausage and eggs! The cheesy potatoes were delicious as well. We didn’t get the refillable mugs but a regular coffee cup was affordable and generously sized. The pool was nice enough for two adults not interested in slides. We will be back with our kids in the Spring! The hotel will be great for our kids and us as well!

Took a quick 3 day trip to Disney for my grandson’s first birthday celebration, therefore we decided on a value resort. You can tell the resort is older, but the building decor is cute especially the Toy Story Building. The room was VERY small and tight — we had 3 small adults and an infant. Once the extra queen bed was pulled down from the wall unit it left not much room for us to walk around, store our luggage & especially no room for the baby to get down and crawl around without constantly bumping his head on the furniture. The bus transportation was fast we never waited more than 5 mins. We weren’t there long enough to use the pool but it was big and we noticed they provide life jackets for the children. The times we were at the resort we noticed there was always someone working the grounds, from pressure washing sidewalks, trimming the flower bushes etc. One thing that was a bit of an annoyance is that all the days we were there the dirty towel bin was left in the walkway to our room. I’m not sure the purpose of that but considering the amount of money you pay for the Disney experience I don’t think guest should have to constantly go around the resort’s dirty laundry. I understand the rooms have to be cleaned daily but this one stayed in the same location all 3 days we were there. We did take advantage of the Disney Magic Express to/from the airport. I highly recommend this, it was nice not having to deal with our luggage — they picked it up from the airport & it was in our room waiting when we returned from the park. Then it was nice to drop our luggage off w the airline check in at the hotel, get our boarding passes from that same checkin and just jump on the bus to the airport. So overall, would I do another value resort yes I’ve stayed in 3 of them and this was the most cramped room I’ve had so I would pick a different resort but would definitely stay in one again. For my family we don’t hang out in the resort rooms we spend our time in the parks. If it was just 2 adults I would stay at this resort again just not with children.

I now stayed at all 3 value resorts in WDW, and this resort is the best. The rooms are updated and there is a coffee maker in the room. There were 2 “issues “ I had during my stay. Since I stayed at all 3 I assumed that all 3 gift shops has the same merchandise (not true) I was looking for a designer machine band and was told that it was at one of the other resorts. The the “issue” was the bus schedule, apparently the transportation to the park in the afternoon was running behind but there was no signage informing the guests. A Disney employees happened to walk by and we asked him. Other than the low water pressure in the shower everything was great.
