Loved everything about our stay. Beautiful upgraded room for Titanium Elite stay. Check in was a breeze and staff was very accommodating. The property was lovely and had gorgeous Christmas trees every few steps. Conference staff was very helpful and efficient as well. The surrounding area is full of shops and wonderful restaurants. We especially enjoyed a breakfast at Wilma and Freida's and dinner at Tommy Bahamas.

Management did a great job with the renovations! We always go to this property when in the Palm Desert area! The staff is always friendly and the rooms are always clean. If you’re a Marriott Platinum Elite, you can pick breakfast for two instead of earning the 1,000 points. Well worth it as the Cava restaurant has delicious options. You can also prepare your own fresh juice (my favorite part of breakfast at the Cava). I always look forward to my stays at the Renaissance.

Arrived a bit late last night at check-in and the very nice lady offered an upgrade because I’m a Marriott Gold member (she had just upgraded the person before me) but then she said wasn’t able to find anymore. Tease! Oh well... I’m writing this from a gorgeous newly remodeled room (4095). Halfway through a 2-night stay. I love the new room furnishings, fixtures and especially the cool wallpaper! However, I wish we weren’t so close to these massive and VERY loud fans by the golf course... sounds like the airport. Next time I’ll ask to face the pool (which is no less than amazing). I stayed here years ago and always thought this was the nicest hotel I’d ever stay in....the pool, the gym and everything in between! It’s even better now.

Impeccable service. Everyone was amazing and kind. Staff went above and beyond to make everyone happy! The renovation is lovely too. I can’t comment on golf because I didn’t play, but there are outdoor fireplaces, ping pong, fussball tables and baggo games if you have cold weather or are not a sun person. They even had someone working with a trained hawk and dog to keep birds out of the outdoor areas people eat. Seriously, if you see anything less than excellent ratings-the expectations are unreasonable. I have stayed at Marriott properties every where and never had better service

Recently stayed there for a business convention. Hotel was going through the last stages of a $23M renovation at the time. Nicer updated rooms and lobby than last stay. Good location, service was great, pool was splendid.
