We just returned from 10 nights with our Best friends. Our rooms weren't ready for a couple of hours, so we had a drink and went to lunch at the buffet. Food at the resort is very good, lots of Choices. Tried all three specialty restaurants. The Japanese was great, went twice. The Mexican was nice. And the Italian was okay but not as good as the others. Our rooms were updated Ocean view with oversized King bed and a sofa. Large balcony with table and chairs. Ocean was a bit rough, but managed a few swims. Lots of loungers. Same with the very large pool. Our maid in building 1 on the 3rd floor was Margherita she was very special. She treated us special and made sure we were comfortable for our whole trip. Always met us with a smile and making sure everything was good. Our Concierge Veronica met us upon arrival and from that point made us feel so well looked after. She treated us amazingly ensuring we were happy and booked all our specialty restaurants making sure we were always having the best experience. Resort was well laid out and always kept up and grounds were beautiful. Miss it and look forward to returning again.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we departed we were so spoiled. All the staff went out of their way to ensure we were taken care of. The smiles and hugs we received made us feel like family. We will definitely be back. Our favorite restaurant was a tie between the Italian and the Japanese. The pool was clean, our room was checked and straighten daily. The spa was amazing! The grounds were landscaped nicely. We enjoyed the entertainment too! Overall a great family resort! Shout out to Perla, Adam, Joselito, Batman!!!!!!

Just returned home from an AMAZING vacation at this resort. Two couples and we couldn't have asked for anything better. From the moment we arrived we were treated like family by the staff. They 100% make this place what is. Henry and Marlon at the star prestige lounge were delightful. Road runner from the entertainment team was a great dance teacher and made archery so much fun! All of the entertainment staff derserve a huge shout put. So hardworking and so involved in guest interaction. Gherson, Huey and Juan at the beach lounge made our day every single day. Top notch service! Be sure to find Casimira, she is the sweetest most loving lady, makes the best espresso martini around. The facilities are great, lots of character and a perfect size. Not too big, everything was close by. Our rooms were great. Housekeeping goes above and beyond. Spotless everyday, not a stray hair to be found. Room was always cleaned at a convenient time. The beach is beautiful. Pool area is large, never felt crowded. Food here is wonderful and varied. You will NOT go hungry. Do not miss the Japanese restaurant, delicious food and entertaining performance. Would recommend 1000 times over and would go back in a heartbeat.

We have been about 20 times, we just love this place. It's older rooms are dated but if you are spending so much time in your room then you are not doing your holiday right. Food is good, you can always find something to eat. You won't go hungry. The staff is what makes this place what it is. They remember you from visit to visit and greet you like family whenever you come back again.

Everyone at Iberostar Costa Dorada felt like family. Everywhere you go you are greeted with a kind smile snd excellent service. The buffet has a very vast selection of food both domestic and international. There's many activities the staff performs everyday. The best part is the cookout at the beach everyday. While our stay BBQ meats and Paella were cooked. At night the common areas look amazing, looks like a small village. Theres also shows at the outdoor theater and a nightclub till 2 A.M. Overall our stay was wonderful. Also, It's not far from downtown Puerto Plata, where there's many attractions. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay extraordinary.
