I will start with the positives... The service and the staff were TRULY AMAZING and for me this is a definite bonus !!!! Always a smile on their faces, greeted you as you walked by and some of them remembered your name and favorite beverage. The activity staff were engaging, fun and definitely some good moments with them. The nightly outdoor entertainment was always a good way to end the evening. The resort is on the smaller side but easy to get to one place and another in a little amount of time. The beach itself is beautiful, easily walkable, swimmable (when the tides are nice, lol) and having loungers on the beach with those views was amazing. The buffet is a buffet, sometimes the food was lukewarm and sometimes the trays were empty BUT the food was always replenished, tasty and you should know what to expect for a buffet. Personally, I enjoyed 95% of what I ate and the staff was always willing to make a specific food if asked. The room was very comfortable but the ocean view on the 3rd floor is obstructed, at least where we were. The rooms were always clean and the beds were comfy to sleep in. Having assorted beverages re-stocked every day was nice but keep in mind no hard liquor. Proximity to a small shopping center (about 3-5 min walk) was a bonus and the resort grounds in itself is beautifully maintained. Being able to sit in an open air lounge and look out towards the grounds/beach was so nice. Pools although always clean could get quite busy as there are only two pools for the majority of the guests UNLESS you are a Royal member, so something to keep in mind. A great alternative is the loungers on the beach and THAT VIEW...WOW!!! Having been to other all inclusive I, personally, would not rate this as a 5 star but rather a 4 star but for what we paid, we definitely got our monies worth. Now the not so positives... The rooms (at least ours) could definitely use a re-fresh but again, always clean. The open air concept makes for noise for sure, bring earplugs or a sound machine. Saying that, the use of the lounge itself could have more options for those that want to continue the festivities after the outdoor show is done. The loungers at the pool need a different setup as you need to be at the pool very, very early to secure loungers, as there are more guests than there is space around the pool. The kids pool, although a nice idea, was hardly used as they were in the main pool taking up space with their floaties etc. Would be nice to have the main pool for the "older" guests. Despite these minor issues, I would definitely come back :)

The service is amazing!! Even if you are not the special club you are treated just as amazing as everyone else! Rene Garcia, Keila Alarcon, Lizabeth Garcia, Andrés Garcia are all amazing with how they talk to people. They are very kind and caring about the people they are serving! They will remember you and remember what you are drinking to make it easier to order uno mas! Loved this resort and servers I met while I was here. Definitely will be back and I do recommend 10/10

Service at this hotel is outstanding! This is our second time here and we came back for the service, amazing food, welcoming staff, and an overall beautiful experience. Staff will remember you, which is really special to us. René Garcia, Keilo Alarcon, Lizabeth Garcia, and Andrés Garcia to name a few, have all been great to us during our stay. We will recommend this resort to anyone!

Our room was really clean and modern. Food was OK - not awful but not amazing Service was OK generally although on our last day Jesus Miramontes took care of us at the pool and he was AMAZING! We stayed for 4 days and he really made our trip. His son Alejandro was equally amazing. Jesus went above and beyond for us and made the whole day great.

Everything was great! Luz Diaz at the buffet restaurant was very helpful and friendly. She took very good care of my entire family. Food was great. Activities were wonderful. Andres at the bar is phenomenal. He arranged a birthday cake for my daughter in a short notice.
