We had an 11 night stay at Grand Sirenis which was our second time at the hotel and once again it was a great holiday. The food and service at the restaurants was excellent and waiters and waitress’ are all super friendly. Our biggest compliment goes to Rubi our concierge. From day 1 she made us feel very welcome and explained everything clearly and what the hotel had to offer. Every morning she was at the desk with a big smile always ready to help anyone who needed assistance and always asked how our holiday was going. Rubi is a big asset to the hotel and builds good friendships with the guests. Great work Rubi!! Fantastic hotel overall and will be returning once again in the near future.

Had an amazing 2 weeks here. Will try not to make this too long. Rooms amazing, staff super friendly, a special mention to Ruth in the Sports bar and her "special shots" Never had a problem getting a sunbed at any time of day. Wildlife was great to see, monkeys are so cute. Restuarants in order of our personal preference were Mediterranean, Japanese, Thai (these were a la carte in our opinion), Steakhouse, Brazillian, Mexican (not a la carte, again only in our opinion). Buffets were great, could not believe the choice there was. Would highly recommend romantic meal on the beach. I swam with dolphins, was highlight of my holiday. Spa is amazing, definately worth a visit. Foam party and silent disco were great entertainment and all added to what was an amazing 2 weeks. All in all an amazing holiday and excellent value for money

I have just returned from 10 nights at the Grand Sirenis and I can honestly say to take the negative reviews with a pinch of salt. I could not fault this place whatsoever. I am unsure if the people on here have actually stayed at the same hotel? We did not encounter one rude staff member. All of the staff say hello/good morning/evening every time they see you. In my personal opinion guests are rude to the staff, we saw this on so many occasions so I wouldn’t really blame any staff member for being rude to somebody when they are spoken to by guests the way that they are. As for the seaweed, there was no seaweed ON the beach and there was no “smell”. There are workers in the sea every single day with a machine and diggers clearing it from the nets that catches it. I’ve read reviews where people are saying the resort is untidy, we saw the gardeners and maintenance staff out from 7am every morning keeping the place tidy. I highly doubt any of the guests would be out working in 35 degree heat all day without moaning, they work so hard. I’ve seen reviews saying there are cups floating in the pool, if guests actually took their cups back to the bar then the wind wouldn’t blow them into the pool so I don’t think people can moan about something they are causing but it is a pure example of people expecting everything to be done for them. On our first day we noticed that our bath was not staying full as we had an issue with the plug, every room is given a maintenance card in which you can write any issues and hang it on the door, we did this and it was fixed within a matter of hours. So instead of people complaining this didn’t work and that didn’t work, if you asked for it to be fixed it would more than likely be done. The buffet restaurants have a huge variety of food so if you are one of the people saying there was a bad selection then please, WHAT DO YOU EAT AT HOME?! There was always salad, veg, pizza, chips, chicken, steaks, pork, fish, soups, paella, pasta, Mexican foods etc. If you can’t find anything to eat then you are the problem, not the hotel. There is air con in the buffet, yes it is warm but as for people saying there is “zero air con” this is not true. If you do not like buffet restaurants then why pick a hotel with buffets? I also saw a review saying that they did not like the decor in the buffet restaurant, did you not go through the photos before you booked it? Room service is also very good, we did this 3 times. We also went to the Japanese and the steak restaurant and both were delicious. There are animals all around the hotel and they are great fun to watch. We also saw the baby turtles be released into the sea on the beach and it was an amazing experience and would recommend going down to turtle beach around 6pm. I would like to say a huge thank you to Nikki the TUI rep who helped me when I got tonsillitis (not the hotels fault, I know people like to blame the sun being too hot on the hotel) Nikki advised that if you go to the concierge in the lobby and know what medication you need that they will ring the pharmacy, you pay the concierge and it is delivered within the hour. Alternatively there is an on-site doctor for a fee. We did the Underwater World excursion and cocobongos. I would highly recommend both, they were brilliant. Swimming with turtles was definitely a great experience. I would 100% come back to the Grand Sirenis as I absolutely loved it, I was so sad to leave and we made some great friends.

4 Star Resort but a 5 Star Experience

This is a 4 star hotel that offers a 5 star experience. I would like to say that me and my girlfriend had an amazing time at this resort for our vacation. We stayed 6 days and 5 nights. In geeneral I do not think I have one complaint. This resort is actually two resorts in one. Because of this the grounds are quite large and the distance to get around can be a lot. If you are prepared for this then it's no problem. I didn't mind as everywhere we walked we were able to take in the landscape and enjoy the wildlife of the iguanas, coati, etc. There are three pools, with two being on either side, and a "relaxation" pool being more in the center. The relaxation pool simply served as a quieter pool with no music playing and more of a laid back atmosphere. We typically stayed at the pool closest to our room and had no issues whatsoever. The bartender at the pool named Salvador was excellent. He remembered our drinks from the first day, and was quick to serve everyone that came up to the bar. Speaking of bars there are plenty of places that you can go throughout the day to get drinks. At any given point there is a bar open somewhere. The food options are good. I would not go as far as saying they're excellent, but there is something to eat for everyone. Each night the buffet did a theme night so you could try something different each night at the very least. The a la carte restaurants were excellent. We did the Mediterranean and the Mexican ones. We stayed 6 nights and unfortunately were only allowed to make reservations for 2 of them. Every night they offer a show starting at 9 as well. One night was 70's themed and another was Broadway. In addition to having a show, they also have a disco club on the resort as well that was open every night until 2AM. We did not go but we could hear people coming back from it sounding like they were having a blast. They had a lazy river that was fun to get a nice buzz on and just lay and ride for a good 10 minutes each trip. The beach left a bit more to be desired. We knew going into it that it was more of a snorkeling beach than anything else. It can be pretty rocky so bringing water shoes is definitely recommended. They also have their own dolphin discovery which is nice so that you don't have to leave the resort to do a nice excursion should you not want to. One of the biggest positives that I have to say was the lack of vendors trying to push selling stuff on you. There was next to none other than in the lobbies and they wouldn't call to you to try and sell you stuff. Every other resort I have been to has vendors that do not leave you alone. I get it, it's there job and they are trying to make money, however, this was a delightful change that made a world of difference. Overall, I would highly recommend going to the Grand Sirenis. They offer multiple locations throughout the Caribbean, as well as, a few resorts in Ibiza as well. We are going to look into those next. If I could recommend one thing it would be to add a designated check-out station for guests. Unfortunately the timing of us checking out coincided with two larger groups checking in that caused us to run slightly behind schedule. All else was great though.

Beautiful resort with a lot going on. Clean, great selection of food and entertainment and the staff couldn't do more for you. Special thanks to our concierge Gerardo, the guys at the bar at pool 2 Caliente and Oscar for always keeping my glass full, and the staff in general. Will most likely be back in a few years. Muchos gracias grand sirenis!
