Went on a solo birthday trip and had such a great time. My first night there, I slept like a baby. The staff were the loveliest, and they ensured that I was having a good time. I definitely enjoyed my stay at the hotel. I’ll be back soon for a longer stay.

What a fantastic holiday. Bel Jou can’t be faulted for its excellent service, delicious food and great entertainment. Being a smaller hotel, there’s a lovely atmosphere and staff go out of their way to ensure you have a perfect stay. The views are stunning and the resort is spotlessly clean. We stayed in a garden bungalow which was comfortable and quiet. We would highly recommend it.

Lovely staff and very clean hotel. They do their utmost to make sure that you have a great time. The hotel is on a hill which gives a wonderful view of the town, the port and the sea. It means you will have amazing sunsets every night as the veranda bar and restaurant overlooks the bay. The rooms are clean, comfortable and the house keeping is excellent. The towels and sheets are regularly changed. The entertainment is great. Yoga, Pilates and aqua aerobics are all available. Plus two pools, a gym, coffee shop with mini library and nightly activities; these include BBQ with steel band and fire eaters, plus a casino night. Great place to stay. Highly recommended.

We had a great holiday at the Bel Jou, we stayed in a garden bungalow which was perfect, very spacious with a good bathroom and patio with table and chairs. The rooms are cleaned every day and fresh towels whenever you request them. The self service restaurant worked well for us, you can choose whatever you like. Our favourtie area was the roof top bar where we spent most evenings. As mentioned before the staff are fantastic, too many to mention. The only reason we gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because of the location of the hotel, whilest we knew when booking it wasnt by the beach we did feel a bit shut in and although there is a shuttle bus to the beach and market this has to be booked so you must decide in advance what you want to do. We wont return for this reason but would not hesitate if it was beside the beach
