Hotel is welcoming and well located downtown. Rooms are smallish but adequate. Complimentary water in room appreciated and early check in was awesome. Breakfast buffet needs some improvements.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The staff went above and beyond, with Mikka particularly standing out with her warmth and efficiency during check-in. The room was clean and wiithout a doubt, this will be my first choice for accommodation whenever I return.

Everyone is helpful and friendly! Great location. Only feedback would be that the rooms could use an update.

Overnight stay while visiting Toronto. Booked a higher floor double queen for my daughter (11) wife and myself. Arrived early at the hotel to drop our bags off with left luggage, Allan kindly looked and was able to offer us a room straight away (early check on fee applied). His handling of our reservation was flawless, handing us information for local restaurants and a city map. Also enrolled us in the loyalty scheme. Was a bit of confusion as another guest had the same/similar name to me (lucky for them, I'd say) and sorted very easily. The room was clean and well maintained, noting to see out of the window as such. There was a bit of noise as construction was going on near the hotel, but is there a major city that doesn't?!? The room was quiet at night, so it was all good there. Didn't book breakfast or eat in the hotel, so I couldn't comment on this. Did have a drink at the lobby bar, which feedback needs to be given. We sat at the bar, and I was surprised by the amount of drain flies/beer flies as we call them in the UK. Not pleasant at all and not expected in that kind of hotel, more something I'd expect from a run down back street pub in the UK. To see them fly around where the service area and cocktail fruit (lemons/limes) put me off having a second drink. I'd suggest finding the source and fixing it. Would I recommend? - Yes, it's a great hotel and locations. Would I go again? - Yes, even considering the bar issue.

I am always ready to recommend the Hyatt on King. From the check-in to room service, to the quality of the gym and the check out, wonderful service and top notch accommodations. Friendly, efficient, delicious food.
