Beaches was wonderful. Excellent service, food and amenities. It was our first time visiting Turks and we will definitely return.

Just wanted to update my review. We visited again March 2024 with our now 2 young children. We had a wonderful time again! Don't believe the negative reviews. Some guests don't realize they are in a different country with different ways of interacting. That said, everyone we encountered was pleasant and helpful...and we engaged with almost every employee we saw. That said, there were some staff that went above and beyond; Steve the Chef - my husband is vegan and Steve was able to make specialized meals for him every morning. Much appreciated! Gigi in Sesame - She read a bedtime story to my daughter 5 years ago, and it was so nice to see her again! She is so pleasant and friendly. Mary Joseph (Marios) - very cheerful and helpful server in Marios restaurant. Alex the bartender (Italian Village) - Got to know us so well that he was able to anticipate our drinks. Great guy We love that you can be as busy or as quiet as you would like to be. We had the Italian Oceanfront Kids Room, which was perfect for us. Our kids could nap while we sat on the patio or in the other room. Our room was also in the middle of everything, but quiet enough because it faced the ocean. The food was great everywhere we ate. We did go early as other reviews recommended, and didn't have any issues. We can't wait to go back again!

The resort has great amenities and great variation with regards to restaurants and things to do. My only real complaint is, I do feel like there is some rudeness from some the staff almost an apathy towards the guests. Our flight arrived early so our room was not ready. The room was supposed to be ready by 3 PM, but we were told basically it could be anytime after three so meanwhile, we’ve been there for hours and there was really no sense of urgency to try to have the room be ready. When we did get to our room, no one came with our luggage so we had to call and we had to wait for that as well. This was a consistent theme at certain times during the vacation where at the restaurants for people would wait for lengthy periods of time and the serving staff didn’t seem to care that people were waiting for their food in fact, some of the staff actually looked annoyed at times. This is very disappointing considering the Turks and Caicos beaches resort is the Crown jewel of the beaches chain. On a positive note, we have a child with special needs and had a babysitter. Jody Ann stay with our son who is absolutely amazing and caring and thoughtful. This is a wonderful service provided by Beaches.

We've just returned from a weeks stay at Beaches. Fortunate to travel to the Caribbean A LOT and Beaches may have been the best vacation we've ever been on. Everyone knows of the beauty of the beach and water in Turks but what sets Beaches apart are the people and property itself. We rented a villa (8 people in our family) with butler service. Reserve the butler service and request "Sunshine" and Kenomar! They were the best! Chairs on the beach, by the pool(s), dinner/breakfast seating...not a problem. They both were so friendly and helpful, our family loved them! The food was very good. Make sure you check out Mario's for breakfast, pizza from Bella Napoli for lunch and Arizona' and Sapodillas for dinner. We don't usually do may excursions, we like to relax with cocktails on the beach but we did do parasailing and a MUST is a snorkeling trip/Iguana Island. The most beautiful water we've ever seen...and iguanas too! Am I sounding like a P.R. guy from Beaches/Sandals? No, I'm just a retired guy from Wisconsin. Is a trip to Beaches Turks & Caicos a little pricey compared with other places/resorts? Maybe....but the beauty, service, experience and memories are truly worth it!

Wow! We absolutely loved our visit to Beaches. The waterpark is INCREDIBLE and my kids could've spent all their time there and been thrilled. But there's so much more to do. Grace Bay is the most gorgeous beach we've ever been to and it was incredible to relax there and go out on the Hobie Cats and kayaks. Also, the various pools here are amazing. The restaurant selection is great and my kids (who are super picky eaters) always found lots of options to enjoy. Our absolute favorite restaurant was Schooner's, so definitely do dinner there during your stay. There was a steel drum band performing while we ate our meals, and the music combined with the view of the ocean, was absolutely magical. Also, don't forget to get ice cream from Bobby Dee's for dessert. Lots of flavors and quite delicious!
