It was a business trip, the company I work for decided to have a Kickoff meeting this time in a cold weather, this was a good option because most of our workmates hadn't been in a place with snow. Vancouver is a beautiful city, I think in summer is also a place for enjoy a warm weather. We arrived on a cold morning in February, the food was excellent even tough it was buffet, there were so many options in each meat we took. I had had the opportunity of traveling to Chicago 4 years ago and the experience was so different because at Vancouver we could appreciate the snowed mountains and we went to practicing some winter sports. At the end of the meeting I took two days more to visit Seattle USA which is only four hours by bus. Definitely it was one of the best trips I've had experienced. Strongly recommended.

We stayed for 4 nights before a cruise. Our room was on the third floor and overlooked Canada Place. The bed was super comfy and we will definitely stay here if we are lucky enough to visit Vancouver again. Close to Stanley Park, Gas Town and a 25 minute walk to Granville Island then via a water taxi. Lots of choice for restaurants near to the hotel too.

I stayed here just before Labour Day Weekend for 3 days. I choose to upgrade to the Gold Floor and it was a great choice. The staff here were wonderful and very professional. Just after I checked in, I got a call from the manager saying that there was an issue with my car. I went down to see and it had been hit by a taxi. The manager on duty took care of everything in terms of filing the claim with the Province and with the taxi company. Even the valet driver that was involved was very professional and helpful. The room was amazing; it was large, comfortable, and had a great view of the harbour. I also really enjoyed the Gold Lounge, the staff were very helpful and the breakfast was delicious each morning. You cannot beat the location, on the waterfront and close to everything. I never did need to drive my car around because everything was within walking distance. I truly appreciated the professionalism of the staff and the comfortable environment of the hotel. I will definitely stay again. It was pricey but completely worth the money.

I guess a good way today start it off is we stayed on the 22nd floor they had to move us to the fifth because of weird noises every minute . Hotel is nice the restaurant is over rated over charged for very small courses, don’t understand how they call it a elegant high end restaurant when the waiters wear jeans to serve you in?????. Blown away by that fact and I’ve eaten in restaurants all over the world and this was disappointing. Booked thru booking.com and then it was ok but they got their money back for moving us to the nicer room by whacking on the last night charge thru the roof and then said oh well as you leave . Will never stay there again and never recommend them to anyone . Shady and they blame it on booking.com .

Let's start with the good, we had just completed an Alaskan Cruise and planned to stay for a few days in Vancouver BC. LOCATION: This hotel is directly across the street from the port so it was easy to get off the ship and walk on over, couldn't be easier. The location is great, right at one end of the Sea Wall path, (Great walking city!) and blocks away from the Gas Town area with lot's of little restaurants. Drug Store 4 blocks away, Liquor store 3 blocks away, a very good sushi restaurant across the street (Miku, make a reservation or walk in early), and a food court underneath, that has a McDonald's... don't judge, once you see the prices in Vancouver you will love the dollar coffee at McDee's. THE HOTEL AND ROOM:THE GOOD: 16th floor, corner room, WOW! There are a limited number of corner rooms as this is mostly a rounded building. Worth the extra cost just to see the views! I have to apologize to the City of Vancouver for standing naked in my room in awe, overlooking the harbor and Stanley Park. Thank goodness for you the windows are mirrored, I'm pretty sure?
